Dear physiotherapist! I'm a asthma patient. kindly explain me the physical methods to get rid of wheezing instantly when it occurs. What are the physical ways of treating asthma other than medication?

Montemac L is a controlled medicine for allergic asthma. If you are able to remain symptom free by using it daily, I would suggest you to continue it for at least 3 months continuously. I would suggest you to consult an Allergist-Immunologist who will suggest you allergy testing. This will help you identify substances causing symptoms to you as well as precautions regarding how to avoid them. Also, an Allergist may suggest you specific allergen immunotherapy depending upon the results of allergy testing, which may improve your allergy symptoms. Please try to avoid exposure to smoke, dusts and air pollution as much as possible. Also please do not smoke if you are a smoker. A nutritive diet rich in vitamins & minerals including anti-oxidants is very important to support immune system. I would also suggest you regular breathing exercises which help you in a long run.

Hello lybrate-user thanks for sharing your health problem. According to ayurveda, respiratory system gets vitiated by wasting, suppression of manifested natural urges, exposure to dry climate, irritants, consumption of excess dry, spicy foods, exercises during hunger. Try to avoid the cause. If you are using any inhalers, stop using for few days only on emergency you can take it. Start with following medications for 2 weeks rx pushkaramrita 10 ml_0_10 ml diluting with warm water a/f immuwin tab 1_0_1 a/f for 3 weeks pranadhara drops for steam inhalation. Start with normal physical and breathing excercise acc to your capacity.

My wife is suffering from tubacular lymphednitis (confirmed by fnac last year) on the left side of the lymph node of neck. It is in cervical lymph node and is in swollen condition. She took t. B. Medicine and during t. B. Treatment swollen lymph node started coming to the normal shape. But after the 5th month of medicine, lymph node suddenly started increasing its size. In the seventh month we done the ultra sound of that lymph node, which showed there is a pus inside it. I have also gone for the fnac again and it again showed that t. B. Infection is still there. For further clarification and the drug sensitivity, I go for the culture test of myco bacterium of t. B. Of the pus aspirated from swollen lymph node, which further show negative results as no afb came in that. This situation has become very complicated as fnac show t. B. Infection but culture shows no signs of t. B. Infection. I again go for the fnac which again came positive with t. B. Infection and after that I have also gone for the histopathology for the specimen of the lymph node and again the culture of the specimen of the lymph node, its again came negative. Histopathology only showed inflammation and necrotising nothing else. So please suggest something helpful as the situation is very complicated as fnac test is showing t. B. Infection and other test are coming negative.
