The dark under eye circles are a curse mark on your beauty. They make the face look older and weak and give your overall appearance a dull and unhealthy look. In short, they are negative impact and set back on your appearance. Many of us face this problem and try every possible thing in our hands to get rid of these circles. We may get temporary benefits by using the creams and solutions available in the markets but no results are permanent Hereditary Medications •Allergies: Allergies cause itching, and this further leads to darkening of the area around the eye. •Eczema: In case of eczema, the skin becomes darker due to the rub and itch. Anemia: •Fatigue: Fatigue leads to engorged veins and under eye circles appear. •Nutritional deficiencies: Unhealthy diet and incomplete nutrition are significantly related to dark eye circles. Peel and chop 1 potato •3. Crush them together to make paste •4. Press this paste on a sieve •5. Extract the juice •6. Chill the juice •7. Dip cotton pads in the juice •8. Place them on your eyelids making sure they cover the entire dark spots •9. Leave for 15-20 min •10. Wash gently •Tips: ••• Eat nutritious and wholesome meals •• Drink a lot of water and juices •• Avoid smoking and drinking

Is it dangerous to make the food in aluminium utensil ,like pressure cooker etc. Please tell me.
if you are using aluminium utensil for long time then it might be dangerous. Food cooked in aluminium vessels or in aluminium foil can absorb aluminium because aluminium dissolves into food and water during the cooking process. This absorbed aluminium goes into the bloodstream and accumulates in different organs in different people causing a multitude of effects. Some unpleasant effects of eating food cooked in aluminium are hyperacidity, indigestion, flatulence, skin problems like pigmentation, eczema, dandruff and chronic inflammation of the intestine, which may be diagnosed or mis-diagnosed as Ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease or as chronic amoebic dysentery. Aluminium reduces growth of bone and predisposes to osteoporosis. The simple measure of replacing aluminium cooking vessels with stainless steel or cast iron vessels is often effective in curing these ailments.

How to overcome from dark circle problems?

How to overcome from dark circle problems?
Hi. Dark circles can be temporary (means happens after any recent or chronic diseases or underlying medical condition, allergies, sinus infections and nasal congestions, lower eyelid laxity, fluid retention, hormonal imbalances, hyperpigmentation, aging, sun-exposure, insufficient sleep, worm-infestation, nutritional deificiency, working long hrs. on computer, lack of rest, stress/ tension, etc.) which can be improved by fixing the underlying cause or the problem or can be inherited from your parent's genes which can't be treated or cured! Management: Eat healthy and on time. Avoid junk. Drink plenty of water (as dehydration can cause dull or patchy skin). Sleep well. Wear anti-glare spectacles while working on computer. The area under your eyes has very sensitive skin, so never use chemical bleach. Reduce your stress/ tension through yoga, meditation or any other exercises (it not only improves your blood circulation, but also reduces the production of stress hormones by the body as well as increases happy hormones in the body). Use sunglasses regularly when you are in the sun and not to forget to apply a thick layer of Bakson's Suncare Sunscreen liberally, 20-30 minutes before stepping out in the sun and apply the same again after 3-4 hours if you have exposure to sunlight for long hours. Medication: Take homoeopathic medicines - Cina 1M/ one dose daily at night for 10 days. Schwabe's Alfalafa Tonic/ 1 tsp thrice a day daily for 20 days and revert me back about the condition. Apply Bakson's Under Eye Cream twice daily (in morning and at night) and Medicynth's Whitch Hazel cream - in morning and at night daily.

Treating Fungal Infections In The Rainy Season

MD - Dermatology, MBBS
Dermatologist
Ask Free Question
The air is saturated with moisture during the rainy season. This makes the weather humid and everything else damp. This makes it an ideal breeding season for bacteria, viruses and fungi. Common problems of the season like water logging even deteriorate this situation further. Skin-related problems are on the rise during the monsoons, especially due to fungal infections.

Here is a list of a few fungal infections and how you should deal with them:

1. Athlete's foot: This disease occurs if the feet are exposed to dirty water for a long time. The skin turns greenish with pus-filled scaly and itchy patches. You can treat this by using absorbent anti-bacterial and anti-fungal powder. Soaking your feet in vinegar or bleach solutions can be helpful for getting relief from Athlete's foot. It is also best to keep your feet dry all the time and carry a separate pair of shoes.

2. Ringworm: Ringworm infection occurs in the shape of a ring on your neck, on the soles of your feet, in the armpits etc. It can be treated with anti-fungal powder or cream. Also, avoid scratching the infected area or wearing clothes made of synthetic material.

3. Tinea capitis: This is a fungal infection on the scalp or in a beard (also called ringworm of scalp). It can be treated using anti-fungal shampoo containing ingredients like salicylic acid which exfoliates the skin and scrubs the infected cells off the scalp.

4. Nail infection: Dirt and mud that accumulate under the nails lead to fungal infection in both the fingers and toes. Due to the humid weather during the monsoons, accumulation of sweat under the nails is also responsible for such infections. The preventive measure is to keep short nails and remove dirt from under the nails. Anti-fungal powder is a remedy for this too.

5. Eczema: This is a chronic skin condition where itching and bleeding blisters and patches appear on the skin. The disease is often aggravated during the monsoons due to the damp weather. This can be treated by applying salt and magnesium on the affected areas of the skin. Coconut oil helps to provide relief from the itching and burning sensations. A great way to keep your skin safe from these infections is to use only soft cotton clothes during the monsoon season. Materials like silk, satin, polyester etc. irritate the skin and do not allow the pores to breathe, so they should be avoided.
