Hi lybrate-user' hexigel and multivit tabs that you are taking shd help in controlling ulcers. However, if the ulcers persist beyond a month like this then you should get it checked to rule out any other possibility. Using mucopain gel wl only numb the surface. Severe pain and recurring ulcers require thorough check up n followup. More stronger medicines can be prescribed under supervision only. Pls avoid tobacco in all forms as this can lead to cancerous changes.

I have my tooth decaying inside and with cavity due to which I get severe pain when any food stuff get stuck to it.
Kindly get the depth of cavity checked by dentist and get an xray done to assess the depth of cavity. And if found deep. Kindly get a root canal treatment done. If not deep then a filling would suffice.

Better to visit dentist and just get it fixed. It would hardly take 15 minutes for the dentist to fix the braces.

I have dental problem. Bleeding in gums, gums are swelling and foul breathe. What to do? Some home made remedies.
Bleeding gums with swelling and foul breath are indicative of gum disease due to improper hygiene leading to tartar accumulation on your teeth. You need to visit your dentist and gets thorough dental cleaning done to get rid of the problem. After that you can maintain your teeth and gums by following the routine cleaning protocols. No home remedy will remove the tartar from your teeth. Some remedy may reduce the bleeding for the time being but any delay in getting the tartar removed may lead to recession (root ward movement) of your gums.

When I am doing brushing on teeth then why little bit water comes from gums can you pls tell me how I stop...
It seems there is problem in your brushing technique. You must avoid aggressive brushing, do brushing in vertical strokes, brushing for 2-3 minutes is enough 30-40 minutes brushing daily will instead damage your teeth. Use mouth wash at least once a day.

The exact cause of most mouth ulcers is unknown. Stress or tissue injury is thought to be the cause of simple mouth ulcers. Certain foods, including citrus or acidic fruits and vegetables (such as lemons, oranges, pineapples, apples, figs, tomatoes and strawberries), can trigger a mouth ulcer or make the problem worse. Sometimes a sharp tooth surface or dental appliance, such as braces or ill-fitting dentures, might also trigger mouth ulcers. The exact cause of most mouth ulcers is unknown. Sometimes a sharp tooth surface or dental appliance, such as braces or ill-fitting dentures, might also trigger mouth ulcers. Some cases of complex mouth ulcers are caused by an underlying health condition, such as an impaired immune system; nutritional problems, such as vitamin b12, zinc, folic acid, or iron deficiency and gastrointestinal tract disease, such as coeliac disease and crohn's disease. Avoiding foods that irritate your mouth, including acidic or spicy foods avoiding irritation from gum chewing brushing with a soft-bristled brush after meals and flossing daily, which will keep your mouth free of foods that might trigger a sore. Avoid smoking, tobacco chewing. Gastritis, lung & sinus infection may also be the cause of bad smell in the mouth. 90% of bad breath is due to a dirty tongue. Kindly consult a physician & dentist in person for further suggestion. We need more investigations to decide upon treatment. You may need deep cleaning. Rinse your mouth thoroughly with a mouth wash until then. Advance procedures can be done with laser too. You can go for a ceramic crown over that tooth. Or a composte filling. But filling might fracture if you bite into hard object. So better go for ceramic cap.

I have problem with my tooth, whenever I have cold water my tooth starts paining simultaneously.

I have problem with my tooth, whenever I have cold water my tooth starts paining simultaneously.
Dear lybrate-user, your teeth have become sensitive to cold food-stuff and water. Sensitivity may occur due to a variety of causes, the most common being: 1. Brushing your teeth too hard 2. Gum diseases 3. Dental cavity if you are applying too much pressure while brushing, it is likely to lead to a condition called as attrition, wherein the the outermost tough layer of the teeth (enamel) begins to wear, exposing the underlying structures that are more sensitive to cold stuff. If that is the case, you need to use a soft brush and put minimal pressure on your teeth while brushing. Also, you must switch to an anti-sensitivity toothpaste which will help reduce your problem to a considerable extent. In case you have an inadequately maintained oral hygiene, is likely that you may have developed a gum problem, which is manifesting as sensitivity. For that, you would be required to get a thorough professional cleaning/scaling done from a dentist. It will solve your problem. Besides the above, dental cavities also cause abnormal sensations to cold water. You will have to get it checked from a dentist, and if such a cavity is present, it may require a filling. Hope that helps.

I'm suffering from mouth ulcer. Every month I suffered with this ulcer. I'm facing problems to eat food. Please give me solution.

If the mouth ulcer is causing a lot of pain, gently rub a small ice cube over the spot or rinse your mouth with ice-cold water. You could also chew on a clove bud (lavang) and direct the juice generated to the area where the ulcer is located. Clove buds are a great ingredient to cure sore throat too. To prevent the ulcerated area from getting infected, make it a point to rinse your mouth with a little salt water. Remember, this won’t make the ulcer disappear, but it can help reduce the pain. Honey is a natural humectant. It helps reduce scarring and hastens the process of new tissue growth. This, along with its anti-microbial effect ensures faster healing of the mouth ulcer. Chew a few leaves of tulsi along with some water about three to four times every day. This will help in getting rid of ulcers faster and also have a preventive action against their recurrence. Applying a little coconut oil directly onto the mouth ulcer or chewing some coconut (fresh or dry) helps reduce pain and inflammation and hence, ulcers heal faster. Mix some sugar to crushed khus-khus seeds and consume this mixture for instant relief from ulcers. You could apply a little ghee directly to the ulcerated area, or drink a glass of buttermilk two or three times every day. Mouth ulcers left untreated generally go away in a week or so; with these home remedies, you can expect faster relief. However, if you notice an ulcer in the mouth that is persistently present although it does not cause you any pain, do not neglect it or try to treat it with home remedies beyond a few days. Make it a point to see a doctor soon because often, a painless mouth ulcer is one of the earliest signs of oral cancer.
