In recent times, I'm getting headache frequently. I was recently diagnosed with pre hypertension @ 126-130/83-87 as observed in between 3 days once during the last one month. My family physician told me this is NOT due to hypertension, but due to fatigue. And he suggested me NO medicine for hypertension and ONLY advised lifestyle changes. I seek further clarifications in this regard plz.

BP can be asymptomatic .Symptoms can occur if it is very high like headache giddiness. You can control and reverse your pre hypertension to normal with diet and lifestyle changes Cut down salt exercise daily eat plant based foods Cut down oil and all processed foods cook your own food. Sleep at least 8 hrs Do meditation, yoga etc. If you want complete reversal of blood pressure take a consult because there are certain tests which you have to do which your Dr. might not be aware because of lack of nutrition knowledge.

Please maintaine your overall health by regular pranayam yoga and morning walk in greenery do kegel and perineal exercises daily take cap ashwagandha 1 1 special chyawanprash by patanjali regularly cap kapikachhu by himalaya 1 1 avoid oily spicy and fast food take salads and fruits more take bad, bananas, walnut, asparagus, chhoti elaichi, onion and onion juice with honey, water melon seeds, tugmurai, etc regularly.

Can I get pregnant if I have taken the unwanted 72 within 7 hours on 11th august and my period date is 4th Sept. If your last period was on 4 th of august and you are having normal regular periods and you have taken I pill with in the prescribed period then it is quite unlikely that pregnancy would set in .just relax and wait for your cycles. You may not get your periods on time as after I pill periods tend to get delayed so if you don't get your period on time then please get your pregnancy test done so as to be sure.

The discomfort you are feeling inside is very good because it can trouble you enough to help quitting. Congratulations that you want to quit smoking. Tobacco consumption, either through smoke or other edible forms, is always harmful. The desire to quit is a good starting point. The best way to quit is to know more about the ill-effects of tobacco. The knowledge is astounding and scary. That information itself should help you to want to quit. Smoking uses the respiratory system and gives you a faster kick. The tobacco tar in cigarette smoke lines your lungs with huge patches that make that portion dysfunctional. Your oxygen carrying capacity is jeopardized, and breathing is impinged. The nicotine in tobacco smoke stimulates the heart beat to raise the blood pressure in no time at all. There are more than 7000 harmful chemicals in cigarette smoke! You will need to stop smoking or consuming any tobacco related items with immediate effect. Then you need to identify why you smoke and chew tobacco: there is an oral need, the nicotine effect, the psychological effect of covering up some other issue, for style, to impress, etc. You may discover that the reasons may be unimportant at this stage because you have become too addicted and the habit has become compulsive. You should start exercises, gradually increasing it over a period of time. Do deep breathing exercises every time you feel like smoking (try Yoga) or chewing, and replace the oral urge with some healthy food substitute to satiate the need, for a little while. You may take hard candy or chewing gum. If the urge is too strong, then use nicotine chewing gum or nicotine patches, for a little while until the smoking drive reduces substantially. You may join Smokers Anonymous in your city where the support is really extraordinary for like-minded people who are also in the same situation. Keep yourself occupied or engaged with interesting activities during the times when it is most tempting. Keep the company of non-smokers for some time i. E. At least for the first 21 days. Above all announce it to everyone that you have quit smoking tobacco. Here’s a piece of very good advice: even if you accidentally/willfully take a cigarette, it is not the end of the world – you can start the cessation all over again. Don’t be discouraged because it is not too late even now to reverse all the ill-effects of smoking. As Mark Twain once jocularly said, “giving up smoking is easy; I have done it many times”. You must persevere with the best support until you defeat this addiction. Counseling is very useful in the initial stages and when temptations are at their highest.

1. Use mild shampoo to wash hair (you can make your own shampoo using reetha and shikakai at home) 2. Stop using conditioners. Use natural conditioners like Egg, Yougurt and Lemon. 3. Massage your scalp with a mix of oils like olive, coconut, sesame, castor oil at night. 4. Apply raw amla juice on hair thrice a week. 5. Rub your scalp with the juice of white onion. 6. Use a paste of bhringraj on hair. 7. You can use some good hair packs like - fenugreek and yogurt, egg and green tea. 8. You can rinse your hair with organic apple cider vinegar after washing your hair to maintain ph balance of your hair. 9. Hair health depends on the amount of protein in your diet. Foods like chicken, eggs, fish, nuts, dry fruits gives you the required nutrients to keep your skin and hair healthy. So consume plenty of them. Eat things rich in Vitamin C like amla and oranges. 10. Drink lots of water to flush out toxins from the body.

Hello, Looking at your height and weight you have grade 1 obesity with a BMI of 33.75 kgs/M2. This can be a major contributory factor for your future problem. Since you have no diabetes now, it is important for you to cut your weight (ideal weight 55 kgs). By leaving breakfast there is nothing going to happen. Breakfast is said to be the best meal of the day, as keeps ones energy level high through the day. Thanks.

My daughter whose personal details I ve filled up, sometimes her heartbeat increases a lot .this happens almost once three four months. Today morning when she woke up she had a little food poisoning so she started vomiting n after that she said that her heartbeat had increased again. The vomiting issue is not related to that because it was because of something she had eaten but I am worried about the increased heartbeats it comes down after some time though.

Dear Lybrateuser, -The normal heart rate is 60-100/min, if it is more at rest then has to be investigated -your daughter could be having anxiety disorder & problem increases if she gets anxious or stressed by some event -she should do regular exercises like walking, jogging, play team games, yoga & deep breathing for 5-10 min which will be beneficial for her problem -also get her blood hb%, thyroid hormone level, ecg done to rule out any other problem.

You are having premature ejaculation.It may be due to 1.Anxiety, depression 2.Fatigue, stress 3.Relationship issues, performance anxiety, 4.consumption of alcohol, tobacco etc 5You can take the following measures a)Avoid stress, anxiety b)Avoid alcohol and tobacco consumption c)Go for regular exercise d) lead a healthy living style e) Practice relaxation Technique by deep breathing exercise ( take deep full breath for 5 seconds, hold it for 3 seconds, exhale slowly for 5 seconds). Do it for 5 minutes without breaking the rhythm. It controls arousals and tension that lead to early ejaculation. f)Consult sex therapist for advice . Follow the advice given below

Hi lybrate-user, Try the following tips. You have to feel confident and content in yourself to be able to overcome the stress. You are young you will soon form many more meaningful relationships. 1. Break free: The tendency to go back and beg your erstwhile partner to take you back will be overwhelming, but remember that it’s just not worth it if you do so. They broke up with you for a reason, so you must protect yourself from further hurt by staying away from them and breaking free completely. 2. Understand yourself: You will go through periods of intense sadness, anger and denial, and these emotions will make you act out of character; but if you are aware of your Emotions and understand them, it’s easier to control them and prevent them from making you do things you will later regret. 3. Stay busy: The panacea for a broken heart is a busy mind and a tired body; so throw yourself into work even though you don’t really feel like working, and focus all your energy into your professional life. The success you achieve will make you feel much better about yourself, and it signifies the beginning of the healing process – it inspires you to concentrate on work and forget the breakup you’ve just been through. 4. Talk to someone: Crying and talking about emotional pain are the most cathartic ways to get rid of the heavy feeling that plagues your insides, so don’t hold back your tears or zip your lips about your breakup. Call a close friend who you are comfortable with, or talk to a professional psychologist to help you get through the feelings of depression and pain. 5. Don’t seek refuge in alcohol or drugs: It’s tempting to want to drink yourself stupid and forget all that is happening around you, but alcohol makes you do idiotic things you’re bound to regret, and also gives you a major hangover which ruins the next day completely. Also, you run the risk of becoming an addict. If you find trouble sleeping, get an hour or so of exercise to tire you out, or seek out the company of friends and family and spend time with them – alcohol causes more problems than it brings solutions. 7. Take each day at a time: Time is the greatest healer, so don’t look too far ahead into the future and worry about what it holds. Instead, take each day as it comes, and find Something to look forward to in the short term – it could be a vacation you’ve planned with friends, a reunion with family, a promotion at work, or just dinner out at your favorite restaurant. Life is made up of these little moments that add to our wellbeing, not just the larger than life ones that cause both immense happiness and unbearable pain. It’s not easy to get over a broken heart, but if you believe that you are strong enough and keep yourself occupied, time does the rest.

Hi may b it's a plantar fascia it mean small bones formation in the heel. You do. One thing apply heat pack or cool pack to the heel. It will get relief from pain. If you have any doubts revert me back.

Hello, You can opt for postponement of menses ideally by starting progesterone pills from day 22 of your cycle and then continuing it till as long as you wish to delay your menses.
