Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. SPRING BEDS, FOLDING BEDS OR THICK MATRESS ARE HARMFUL Use no pillow under the head. DO HOT FOMANTATION. Paracetamol 250mg OD & SOS x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab OD x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again.. Do not ignore .It could be beginning of a serious problem.

I am 26 yrs old male. Whenever I got up from my bed or sleep I got back pain it lasts upto 10 mins and then pain is gone and back to normal. I tried sleeping in floor too still I got pain. What can I do?

It needs to be investigated. Investigations advised - hb, tlc, dlc, esr, sugar f & pp, uric acid, vit d3 urine r/e x ray of the affected part. Anyway you may try- sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick mattress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck back knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, inform.

Apply prasarini oil or pranacharya restopain oil on affected part then give hot fomentation. Take maha yograj guggul 1-1 twice a day after lunch and dinner. Take maharasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. Avoid tea. Coffee. Junk food. Spicy food. Fermented food. Take green vegetables. Drink juice. Eat fruits. Drink 7-8 glass of water in a day. Take 7 hours sleep minimum. Do pranayama early morning. Walk for minimum 30 minutes in a day. For further detail contact me in private.

Hello, low back pain is due to bad posture. Firstly you correct posture by tall sitting avoid forward bending, donot sit on floor by palthi, take hot fermentation for 15 minutes on back, every two hours in a office walk 15-20 steps.

Sir meri mom ko sujan ki problem hai. Mediation lete wakt sujan utar jaati hai. Pehle unhe seene me dard tha to medition se thik ho gayi thi. Lekin ab fir wahi problem hai. Stomach gas problem bhi hai. Koi bhi permanent solution nahi mil raha hai. Please help me.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. Actually there are many causes for swelling in limbs like cardiac causes, deranged lft, kft, thyroid profile etc. Since she has also been complaining of chest pain etc, my advise is to meet up with a cardiologist and rule out a cardiac cause for it first, then you can consult a general physician to rule out other causes for these symptoms. Sir, My Mother is of 45 year's old. And she often says that she has a pain on her knees. She can not walk for a longer time. If she sits for a longer time than she could not stand immediately. She is probably having arthritis of knee. If problem is severe, then get her standing xrays of knee done. Avoid sitting cross legged, avoid squatting position, avoid climbing stairs.

Take bed rest for 15 days. Consult physio they will guide you better. Avoid forward bending. Use hot pack for 15 mint at lower back.

Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain.

It might be of dehydration just drink fluids or water intake of about 3 to 4 litres per day regularly with joint stretches.

If you have pain while climbing stairs, getting up from chair, walking up a incline but not much pain while walking on a flat road then you may be having patello femoral pain. You require therapy involving physio, medications and knee cap.
