I seem to have developed a bump near my vagina (not on it). My periods has not happened and has been a week since my date. Should I be worried? What does this bump mean? I am an active person, have not had sexual intercourse with anyone and have never had my periods delayed before.

Menses can be missed either because of hormonal changes or even stress or even if you have put on some weight in recent times then also menses can be missed. All these problems are temporary and menses will come on its own. You can wait for another 30 days before you can take tablet deviry to get menses. That vaginal bump is most likely to be bartholin cyst. Abscess more likely if there is pain. This need urgent attention by a gynecologist.

Hello, do you have bad body odor (bad smell of sweat) ? Little changes in lifestyle and food will give you relief. Eat seasonal fruits in breakfast, drink lot of liquids like whey, fruit juices, green tea. Avoid spicy, oily, non veg, junk food. Take decoction of crushed Dhaniya(coriander seeds)- sock 5gm of crushed (not powder) dhaniya seeds in 250 ml hot water and cover it with lid to prevent volatile oils in it. After 4 hours filter it with strainer and drink it empty stomach, take 250ml 3 times a day.

In this generation by using more phones or laptop that is also one of the reason for not getting pregnant?
Partly yes as they have harmful rays, especially if kept in the pockets above or below, besides ofcourse the reason that due to the continuous usage of these ,one gets so much physically inactive, which inturn adds to weight gain, and in turn Infertility, but there are several other reasons for not getting pregnant, so we need to explore all of them.

Hello Doctor, I suddenly found that's my breasts are getting lump, but it is painful. Please help me.

MBBS, MS - General Surgery, MRCS (Edinburgh), Fellowship In Breast Surgery, Fellowship In Onco-plastic Breast Surgery
Oncologist, Gurgaon
It is quite common to have breast pain and a a lumpy feeling in the breast between 25-35 years of age. This commonly occurs due to hormonal changes during the menstrual period. It is best that you get an ultrasound to rule out something serious. If the ultrasound is normal, there is nothing to worry.
