If you and your partner are planning to conceive, you should start taking folic acid before you get pregnant. Folic acid helps to provide the best health outcomes for your baby when it is growing. Taking folic acid daily before and during pregnancy also prevents the occurrence of neural tube defects, such as spina bifida, in your baby. You?re most likely to get pregnant if you have sex within a day or so of ovulation (releasing an egg from the ovary). This is usually about 14 days after the first day of your last period. An egg lives for about 12-24 hours after it?s released. For pregnancy to happen, the egg must be fertilised by a sperm within this time. If you want to get pregnant, having sex every couple of days will mean there?s always sperm waiting in the fallopian tubes to meet the egg when it?s released. any querries consult privetly

Hi You have not crossed your periods date. So if you feel any chance of pregnancy you can check it by doing urine pregnancy test if your periods delay. Back pain may be because of discharge problem which can be handled after confirmation regarding pregnancy.

You need to have fallopian tubes patent which is checked by hsg test. Once the above test is normal, then treatment with clomiphene citrate is started with monitoring of egg. And the success rate is very high but you can not see the treatment in that perceptive. This kind of treatment is the first step in the treatment to get pregnant. If it fails then we go to the next step which is iui.

Dear user. TO CAUSE PREGNANCY on a woman, sperm should be ejaculated inside the vagina or fresh sperm should be inseminated inside the vagina with some means during the fertility period of the woman. There are many determinants of pregnancy. You should be sexually matured. Your partner should be sexually matured. The period of your partner should be in the fertile stage. Her egg and your sperm cells should healthy enough. Then her uterus should be capable to get conceived. If all these were satisfied, the pregnancy could be a result. In the given case, there are less chances of pregnancy. Take care.

Hello, in the field of hair restoration, evidence supports prp therapy as a promising treatment option to promote hair growth. No claim can be made of its efficacy. While prp is in the early stages of scientific research in hair restoration, prp is not meant to replace current fda approved therapies such as dht blockers and minoxidil. But it is a promising non-surgical therapeutic option for those patients with hair loss.

It’s pretty common to start obsessing after just a month or two of trying to conceive without success. If there’s a physiological reason you’re not conceiving you can start exploring your options, and if the tests come back normal you can relax, but since its been 4 years of married life, Fertility starts to decline at this point, and by discovering any problems early you can avoid wasting time. So would suggest you to think of IUI or IVF.

Can a Woman Get Pregnant After her Menopause?

Can a Woman Get Pregnant After her Menopause?

Absolutely! a good reason we have so many mothers with "surprise" with"surprise" late life babies :) Women assume that because they are not having periods anymore they can't get pregnant. Not so, you can still be ovulating even if you've stopped having periods. So the only way to know safely is to consult your your doctor. The general rule is that women are considered menopausal when they have not had a period for a year AND they have an FSH over 30. FSH is the abbreviation for for follicle stimulating hormone. It is the hormone that tries to kick start the ovaries when they begin to shut down. A young woman may have an FSH of say 6, because her ovaries are working well and the stimulating hormone is not having to do much. Once the ovaries begin to stop producing this number will begin to climb as the hormone says to the ovaries come on, come on what are you doing? The closer she is to menopause the higher it will be. SO an FSH over 30 (ovaries are inactive) AND no periods for a year is your only safe bet to stop using contraception. Unless of course you would ENJOY having a toddler at 45!

I am a 23 yo women, I contracted a yeast infection after having unprotected sex (I have only one partner, my doctor prescribed some creams which gave me temporary relief but the infection comes back once the medication is over. I want to know which blood tests should I take so that I can rule out an STI.

Most vaginal yeast infections are caused by the organism Candida albicans. Yeast infections are very common and affect up to 75% of women at some point in their lifetime. The main symptom of a vaginal yeast infection is itching, but burning, discharge, andpain with urination or intercourse can also occur. The imbalance that allows the overgrowth of yeast to happen can be due to: antibiotics (they lower the amount of lactobacillus, or good bacteria, in the vagina) pregnancy uncontrolled diabetes weak immune system poor eating habits, including a lot of sugary foods hormonal imbalance near your menstrual cycle stress lack of sleep. *Frequent symptoms include: itching burning large or small amounts of vaginal discharge, often whitish gray and thick (although there are also times the discharge can be watery) pain during sex soreness rash. Homeopathic medicine will give you best result to rid your problem completely. Consult me.

Dear Lybrate user. I understand. Some women may experience bleeding about 10-14 days after their period. This is usually caused by a temporary drop in levels of the hormone oestrogen at the time of ovulation (when an egg is released by an ovary). This is quite normal. Secondly you could be experiencing your periods for the first time after the delivery. In any case, consult your gynecologist for advise. Take care.
