Dear, First of all check your posture when you are lifting any material like heavy bucket . And try to lift the heavy bucket without bending your back . you may lift the bucket after bending your knees only. This will definitely help you. * Gentle massage with lukewarm mustard oil of your waist area will also give you relief. * Surya Namaskar is only exercise which you need to do. * In diet vegetable protein of cereal , B complex supplements and half teaspoon of haldi in a cup of milk for seven days will give you enough relief. To increase hunger you can follow these methods : • Take one teaspoon of ajwain seeds ( carom )and 1/2 teaspoon of Kali mirch( black pepper), grind it and make powder of it add 1/3 rd of teaspoon of this in your food you eat . • Take pudina ( mint) and coriander leaves add 1/2 onion grind it and eat one teaspoon of it daily 2 times in a day . You can make chutney of it . Mint and corriander has enzymes that increase your appetite . • Eat one fruit before one hour of taking meal . Eat an apple daily . • Do running and jogging exercise daily . • Eat healthy food and avoid fast food .

When pain management doesn't help, what are other alternatives for back pain due to bulged discs and arthritis?

When pain management doesn't help, what are other alternatives for back pain due to bulged discs and arthritis?
I suggest you follow the below for your condition: take mag phos 6x - thrice daily for next 2 weeks and update. Heat and ice packs. Heat and/or cold therapy helps relieve most types of low back pain by reducing inflammation. Often patients use ice, but some prefer heat. Both may be used alternately.

It needs to be investigated. Investigations advised - hb, tlc, dlc, esr, sugar f & pp, uric acid, vit d3 urine r/e x ray of the affected part. Anyway you may try- sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick mattress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck back knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, inform

Hello everyone, I am Dr Sanjay Bansal I am in MS orthopaedics main field of interest is join the placement in arthroscopic surgery, I work in Apollo spectra Hospital in New Delhi and in various places in Faridabad. Today we'll talk about a very common disease known as osteoarthritis of the knees. This disease is quite common in middle age and aged people, in this the patient comes with us with complaints of severe pain in the knee joint, he cannot move the knee joint, there is stiffness of the knee joint, swelling of the knee joint and even the movement of the knee joint in some patient gets restricted, he cannot fully extend or fully flexes joint. This disease occurs due to the degeneration of the cartilage and may occur due to various others factors like the weakness of the muscle, bone weakness, improper postures. There are various treatment modalities for it. If the osteoarthritis is of grade 1 and grade 2 we can treat it with various physiotheripical exercises we can put intra-articular injection and energetics and kneecap. If it goes through grade 3 and grade 4 then the options left are only surgery. We can feed it with arthroscopic surgeries and a joint replacement surgery. Joint replacement surgeries are very much modified nowadays which we can replace half of your knee joint or we can replace full of the knee joint. Now, these patients asked the what is the outcome of the total hip replacement I assure you the success rate of knee joint replacement is almost 99%. If you follow the advice what's the doctor says, you will be absolutely free of pain. Now patients come to us and ask, how can we prevent it, it can be delayed slightly if you take proper care of your muscles and bones. For that, you should do regular exercises strengthen your quadriceps muscles strengthen your hamstring muscles, take proper food, don't use up the inappropriate posture that it can be easily delayed or prevented.

If you need any consultation or any help of mine you can contact me through Lybrate, either via phone, either through chat or either physically

You are just 19. Acl tear causes instability of knee joint. It leads to many problems like difficulties in running, sports etc. It may also lead to meniscus tear. If its partial tear, then physiotherapy may help. If its complete tear, then it can not heal on its own.
