Hi lybrate-user vegetarian diet tips for muscle gain rotis: rotis are one of the best food's for bodybuilding. Rotis are made from wholegrains that are complex carbohydrates and supply us with energy and fibre. Some households mix different wholegrains to get the benefits of calcium and other minerals. Potatoes: potatoes that are prepared with less oil or baked provide us with carbohydrates without the unnecessary calories. Potatoes also contain potassium, which prevents muscle cramps. Brown rice: it is a rich source of complex carbohydrates that energises us during weight training. Brown rice also contains iron, calcium and fibre that are necessary for building bones and cell growth. Bananas: this fruit is not fattening and the best vegetarian'snack' for building muscles. Bananas are also a rich source of potassium, which is good for sore muscles. Paneer: is a great post workout snack. So consume paneer as this will help in the recovery of muscles and promote muscle growth. Paneer also contains calcium and vitamin a. Calcium also helps to strengthen the bones, which are essential for bodybuilding. Milk: drink a tall glass of milk after your workout. It is a good source of protein, calcium and vitamin d. Milk also improves digestive problems and strengthens the bones. Cheese: fermented milk is far richer in vitamins and minerals. Cheese in general contains calcium, potassium, vitamin a and b and manganese, making it a perfect post workout snack. But cheese also contains sodium, which is unhealthy in large portions. Yoghurt: it is similar to cheese, but the nutrition value is different. Yoghurt is rich in protein, potassium, vitamin b and calcium and contains less sodium compared to cheese. Pulses: dal, chickpeas, soybeans, pigeon pea, moong and masoor are good sources of protein. These pulses are also easily available in the indian kitchen and are quick to prepare. Consume pulses as a post workout snack for muscle building. Muscle building with fats nuts: walnuts, cashews, peanuts, almonds and pistachios, are also good for muscle building. They also contain carbohydrates, protein and fibre in varying amounts. Coconut oil: this oil helps burn fats, so it is a great oil to cook with. Olive oil: it is monounsaturated oil that lowers bad cholesterol or ldl. Muscle building with protein beans: there are several types of beans and they roughly provide carbohydrates, proteins, potassium, fibre, calcium, vitamin b and manganese. Tofu: tofu is a by-product of soybean and it has high levels of calcium and iron. But this muscle building ingredient also contains potassium, protein and manganese. Broccoli and spinach: this vegetable is a superfoods with several health benefits. It contains protein, calcium, vitamin c and vitamin b.

Do not take drastic steps to reduce the weight. My advise for you would be to go for a routine checkup with a doctor along with some investigations so as to diagnose the exact problem if any. You can revert back after the visit to the doctor and inform about all the reports for further guidance. On your part you can start living a healthy lifestyle which means eating wholesome, natural and a balanced diet. Avoid all bad habits. Avoid junk food and processed food in daily diet. Have 2 or more fruits and vegetables in daily diet as they contain low calories and yet will satiate your hunger with lots of nutrients. Drink 10-12 glasses of water or more if you feel thirsty. Sleep for 7-8 hrs daily. Exercise everyday and add yoga as it can help you maintain a consistent metabolic rate and give you strength and stamina. You should do regular walking with exercises at least half an hour in the morning and half an hour at evening. For better and quick results you can take r 2 / 10 drops in little water thrice a day for two weeks. Revert back after two weeks with feedback.

Hi. For reduced fat avoid fatty / oily/ spicy meals. Avoid more non-veg. Eat whole grain foods, dalia in morning, salaad, low fat meals, low calories foods, do exercise daily, yoga. Use rice bran oil for cocking foods.

Hi Lybrate-user, If you are trying to gain weight, make sure that you are doing it in a healthy way. To gain weight you must consume simple foods for weight gain, which has enormous amount of calories & protein. Consuming lot of calories doesn’t mean that you have to over eat or over stuff yourself. You must always choose healthy sources of calorie dense foods. You must eat natural and simple foods for weight gain. Eat foods with high amount of calories than your required metabolism. Never skip your meals and make sure you are including all varieties of foods like fruits, vegetables, cereals and foods with high protein in your diet. Dairy products like milk, yoghurt and cheese are rich in protein and calcium. If you are vegetarian then include Egg & meat Egg is a protein rich food with high amount of calories. Nuts are the most nutritious and protein rich food. Fruits are the best sources of carbohydrates, healthy sugars, vitamins and minerals. Take a private consultation to get diet chart.

I am 23 yrs old and I was suffering from stomach ache from last 8 9 years and even got diagnosed in December 2012 at bombay hospital but even after diagnosis I was Not hit and fit and was suffering with this pain thereafter and this year in My weight was decreasing it came to 52 from 65 in this January and when I met doctor on 27th jan 2015, with the blood test it came to knowledge that I m having diabetes and that time my blood sugar level was 441 and even I m having thyroid it's been six months my sugar level has not came to its normal level, me still on tablets and medicines doctor has told me that I have got diabetes because of acute pancreatitis and today my weight is 53. I am doing everything walk for 30 to 40mins then yoga for an hour and then gym some weight lifting and some Normal muscular exercise but even after my this effort my sugar level is not coming back to its normal stage. Suggest me what should I do and what should I not.

Its very important to control sugar level.... Make a chart of ur sugar level for a week...fasting n after meals total six times a day means morning afternoon n night 1/2 hr before n 2 hrs after meals....then visit a endocrinologist with chart cinically...he will adjust ur dose or will start insulin to control sugar. Fix ur diet timings 8-9 am breakfast...1-2pm lunch...5-6pm evening tea ....8-9 pm dinner...in between if u feel hungry eat only salad n roasted chana.

Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily.

At 17 years your body is still maturing and by that I mean the vagina, uterus and ovaries are growing. During this growth the vaginal lining gets transformed from a delicate lining to a slightly tougher one. This change is also accompanied by growth of cells and destruction of old cells. The vaginal area also gets colonised by healthy bacteria they provide a better protection from infections by regulating the ph of the vagina. Due to food fads and some fungal infections the bacteria of this area are altered and this causes itching and burning sensation. The smell is also due to this alteration. I would like to sugegst to you few home remedies: 1. Wear cotton inner clothes 2, if you sweat a lot, have a bath two times a day 3. After passing urine and during cleaning the private parts, always wipe the area from front to back and not from back to front. Wiping back to front is harmful as it transfers harmful bacteria from anus to the vulva and this causes change in ph and infections. 4. Using scented personal hygiene products also cause more harm by making the ph change. 5. Use a moisturising soap for washing the vulva and avoid the" commercial" vaginal wash if these measures do not help, seek a gynecologist and get examined to get the assessment and treatment if required.
