For the past three months now The major symptoms I have are weakness, fatigue, fever and headache, with fatigue and weakness being the most prominent. This has affected my work self I have done several tests and the results usually show malaria and typhoid. At a point and even currently there is no longer any malaria. But typhoid still shows on all my WIDAL tests results. I have taken virtually all typhoid drugs and none seems to alleviate my problems. In fact it gets worse once I start taking any of them. It was that bad, at a point it was counselled that I do other tests to exclude the possibility of other things. The following tests were done viz. HIV - (have done like 4 of it at different times), NEGATIVE.

I cannot see from which place you are but in endemic places (where Diseases is common in the population) for typhoid, WIDAL test is considered positive only if the O antigen and H antigen Titres are more than 1: 160 or 1: 320. It doesn't seem that you have Malaria or Typhoid. If fever still persists, you'll need more detailed assessment nonetheless.

Hi have ,Gall stone 18mm. I find to difficult to pass stool. Is this problem coz of gallstone or is it any other problem?

MD (Panchkarma), PGD Yog Science, Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery (BAMS), CPARK (Kerala)
Ayurveda, Haldwani
Gall stone doesn't have any association with defecation (passing stool). But, it can cause you heartburn, hyperacidity, indigestion and pain right side, sometimes radiating to the right shoulder.

PHOPHORUS 30 ,5 pills, before meal, thrice a day for4 days .Stay hydrated.Make an effort to stay hydrated throughout the day.Add more fiber to your diet.Eat a lot of fruits and vegetables Exercise regularly. In addition to exercising regularly, try to spend less time sitting. This can reduce pressure and lessen piles.Avoid alcohol and caffeine containing drinks liketea, coffee and colas(if take) as these predispose to constipation.Avoid vigorous wiping especially with a dry toilet paper as it irritates the skin around the anus .Reduse Weight if you are obes ,since obesity and being overweight is a risk factor for piles.
