Sir I have some problem in few days I have not sleeping perfectly in few days I will also suffer from fever.
Please note the following for your condition: • Avoid big meals late in the evening. You need three to four hours to digest a big meal. • Spicy or sugary food, even at suppertime, is usually a bad idea. Spices can irritate your stomach, and when it tosses and turns, so will you. Having a lot of sugary food—especially chocolate, which contains caffeine—can make you feel jumpy. • Try a soothing aromatic bath before bedtime. Add 5 drops lavender oil and 3 drops ylang-ylang oil to warm bathwater and enjoy a nice soak.

Dear lybrateuser, -Do not start drinking alcohol if you don't as it is not mandatory that alcohol will only benefit & not harm an individual, also its habit forming & intake can increase over a period, it only adds empty calories thereby increasing weight -it is advisable to lead a well balanced & healthy life including balanced diet, regular exercise, good sleep & minimum stress, which is the mantra for good health.

Healthy Sex Tips for Men

Society sends numerous messages to men about sexuality. For example, men are taught to believe they:

can always get an erection
should always initiate sex
should always want sex
should always be in control
give women pleasurable orgasms
should have a big penis (or feel inadequate)
should know what to do in the bedroom
should succeed
should hide any feelings of inadequacy or vulnerability

Men are taught to conform to these myths and can develop negative feelings as a result. This is especially true if their sexual needs happen to differ from societal standards. The restrictions imposed by these standards may inhibit men from exploring the full range of their sexuality.

Ultimately, men and women have the same basic requirements for a fulfilling sex life. They need self-knowledge about their bodies, accurate information about sexuality, awareness of the options available to them, and knowledge of techniques to improve their sexual skills, both physically and verbally.

Men usually get information about sex from peers and popular culture. Friends will brag about who or what they did, while men’s magazines emphasize sexual performance and virility. In this context, aspects of sexuality such as performance, competition, and accomplishment are overly—and erroneously—emphasized.

To expand your views of sexuality, try some of the following:

Ask your partner to caress you; dictate how you would like to be touched.

Breathe consciously during sex.
Say yes when you want to.
Say no when you want to.
Self-pleasure (masturbate) slowly.
Fantasize while you masturbate.
Touch yourself all over; notice what feels good.
Talk about sex with your partner; discuss what you have discovered arouses you.
Have a sexual experience with your partner without having intercourse.
Touch your partner’s body for your own pleasure.

Take Care of Your Body

Exercise regularly and watch your diet. Men who exercise are less likely to develop erectile dysfunction (ED).

ED becomes more common as men age, especially among men who are sedentary. Men who exercise regularly are more likely to avoid ED, and may even be able to reverse some of the symptoms of ED after ED appears, by improving diet and becoming more physically active. Of course, looking good often translates to feeling good. And feeling good about oneself—having self-confidence and self-esteem—has been linked to better overall sexual satisfaction among men.

Knowing Premature Ejaculation - PART 1: Understanding What is PE

MD-Pharmacology, MBBS

Knowing Premature Ejaculation - PART 1: Understanding What is PE
All you need to know about Premature Ejaculation

Many of the sexual issues are primarily not big problems. However, because of the taboo and inhibition around them, they are not discussed openly, hence they also fail to get resolved and become bigger. In fact most of the times there are no visible symptoms of any functional problems. Many of them are very basic issues and because of ignorance, myths, and social taboos lead to development of anxieties, distress and further worsening of the problem.

Often men are concerned about their performance in bed with their partner. They worry about- how best then can do, masturbation habits, size of penis and sperm quality.

Consequences of Premature ejaculation (PE):
Both you and your partner may end up experiencing highly unsatisfactory sex. In fact, it can significantly increase anxiety, which may deteriorate the problem.

PE is one such sexual issue. It's not a disease; Not at all..!!
If a person is sexually fit and experiences normal erections but just fail to hold the orgasm/ discharge for reasonable time then he is suffering from premature ejaculation. It's a very normal problem, which if managed properly it can be easily resolved.

We will discuss this PE in 4 parts covering: what it is in actual, how does it happen, how to approach to resolve this problem with behavioural methods, exercise, techniques and medical remedies present in both modern and alternative medicine.
Let’s understand the problem in this 1st part!

What is Premature Ejaculation?

Premature (early) ejaculation—also referred to as rapid ejaculation; also called as early discharge.
PE is the most common type of sexual dysfunction in men younger than 40 years and seen across all age groups. In elderly men (>60 years) erectile dysfunction is more common. A study conducted by the Journal of Sexual Medicine revealed that this condition is almost equally prevalent in sexually active men of all age groups.
If a man experiences uncontrollable ejaculation (discharge of semen from your penis) either before or shortly after sexual penetration (usually within 1-2 minutes of penetration), he may be suffering from PE. The Mayo clinic at the United States defines PE as a condition in which a man “always or nearly always ejaculates within one minute of penetration."

Instances of PE:
An occasional instance of premature ejaculation might not be cause of concern, but, if the problem occurs more than 50% of attempted sexual relations signifies existence of abnormal pattern for which treatment is required.

Premature ejaculation takes place with negligible sexual stimulation and even before the desire
to ejaculate. Another way of describing PE by most therapist or clinicians is the occurrence of ejaculation sooner during sexual intercourse than he or his partner would like.

This broad definition thus avoids specifying a precise “normal” duration for sexual activity and reaching a climax. The duration of sexual activity is highly variable and depends on various factors specific to each individual. Take a situation, a male may reach orgasm after 7 to 8 minutes of sexual intercourse, but if his partner is able to achieve climax mostly in 5 minutes and both are satisfied with this timing, then this is not defined as PE.

Alternatively, a male might delay his ejaculation for up to 15- 20 minutes of sexual intercourse, but if his partner, even with foreplay, requires 25-30 minutes of total sexual activity before reaching climax, he may still consider his ejaculation premature because his partner has not been satisfied (at least, not through intercourse). But in routine practice this kind of situation is NOT called as PE. So every individual and every couple is unique. Same individual may have different sexual behaviour with different partners and different circumstances. Varied situations and varied places of performing the act have a vital role to play in determining the outcomes of individual sexual performance/s.

I am a 27 year old man. Being at this age a man should be excited and confident enough to perform well on bed with his partner. But I have never felt confident of my sexual life. I am a virgin but I have some casual physical relationships with many of my female friends but my problem is that I blow off very quickly, say in just 5 mins of intense kissing on bed. Having such a small holding capacity I am quite worried about my after marriage sex life. I read online about this problem and I came to understand that my childhood habit of masturbating can be the reason of it. I am masturbating since 12 years now. The frequency has most often been twice every day. Is excessive masturbation the reason of my early blowing? What can I do to stop my early falls? Please suggest Thanks in Anticipation!

Indulgence in masturbation will lead to preferring this over intercourse. Then intercourse may become too exciting because it is the natural thing and much more wholesome. So what you will need to do is learn to appreciate the interpersonal nature of sexual relations and make it a complete experience. You could also try it a second time and that will slow down the ejaculation. If you are upto it you can even try it a third time and that for sure will last longer than before. You must also keep your mind from getting over-excited and learn to slow down the reaction time.
