Your endoscopy shows gastroduodenitis gastritis is inflammation of your stomach lining. Duodenitis is inflammation of the duodenum (1st part of your small intestine). Cause 1. Endogenous. In this group, the following factors can play a major role: 1.Insufficient production of mucus; 2.Increased acid formation; 3.Violations of the regulation of hormonal secretion; 4.Liver disease, as well as biliary tract; 5.Chronic diseases of the pharynx and oral cavity (inflammation of the tonsils, carious teeth); 6.Hereditary predisposition. 2. Exogenous. They are based on various external factors, which under certain conditions can cause gastroduodenitis. We list the main exogenous causes of this disease: 1.Excessive consumption of hot, fatty, spicy, rough or cold food; 2.Irregular eating habits and eating dry; 3.Alcohol smoke tobacco certain medication abuse; 4.Psychological factor (frequent stresses); 5.Infection of the body with the bacterium helicobacter pylori; 6.Long-term use of certain medicines (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, antibiotics). Classification there are 4 forms. 1. Superficial. With this type of marked thickening of the folds of the mucous membranes of the stomach and duodenum, as well as swelling of the mucosa. 2. Hypertrophic. In addition to puffiness, hyperemia and small hemorrhagic hemorrhages join. The mucous membrane is covered with a fibrinous-mucous coating. 3. Erosive. Swelling, hemorrhagic hemorrhages, erosion on the mucous membrane of the stomach and duodenum are observed. 4. The mixed form. Small areas of atrophy may be noted, but externally mucous resembles a hypertrophic form. Symptoms 1.Soreness in the stomach (pain often is aching or cramping); 2.Nausea; 3.Decrease or loss of appetite; 4.Heartburn; 5.Eructation; 6.Unpleasant taste in the mouth; 7.Feeling of fullness of the stomach; 8.Constipation or diarrhea. There may also be symptoms of a general nature - irritability, fatigue, pale skin, dizziness, weight loss, sleep disturbances. Upon examination, the doctor may note the abdominal tenderness during palpation, a yellowish-white coating on the tongue with possible imprint of the teeth. The tongue itself looks puffy. Whats can be possible causes of rectal bleeding at the age of 14? He has diarrhae and bleeding since 2 week.please help

MBBS, MS - General Surgery
General Surgeon, Hyderabad
Instead of brooding to know the causes of bleeding per rectum, I advice you to see a physician who will treat his diarrhea with blood, if both are present it is called dysentery and a physician is the right person to treat him, it is most likely he has infection in his intestines. A surgeons opinion can be sought at a later date if there is no response.

You are suffering from allergic rhinitis. Its a common problem now a days. 1. Do saline gargles daily. 2. Whenever possible do steam inhalation also. 3. Cover your nose and mouth with hanky for at least 30 sec when you go in dusty areas also when you go in and out of AC. As our nose is the most sensitive part of our body, When there is temperature difference between two rooms or inside n outside, then if we not protect our nose, it gets affected. 4. Drink Hot Liquids --Hot liquids relieve nasal congestion, prevent dehydration, and soothe the uncomfortably inflamed membranes that line your nose and throat. 5. Sleep With an Extra Pillow Under Your Head-- Elevating your head will help relieve congested nasal passages. If the angle is too awkward, try placing the pillows between the mattress and the box springs to create a more gradual slope. 6. Treat That Stuffy Nose With Warm Salt Water-- Salt-water rinsing helps break nasal congestion, while also removing virus particles and bacteria from your nose. 7. Blow Your Nose Often (and the Right Way)-- It's important to blow your nose regularly when you have a cold rather than sniffling mucus back into your head. But when you blow hard, pressure can carry germ-carrying phlegm back into your ear passages, causing earache. The best way to blow your nose: Press a finger over one nostril while you blow gently to clear the other. Homeopathic treatment has very encouraging results and gives relief in long term please ask for consultation with detailed information so that I can help you better.
