To have control on this situation start taking 1tsf of amla, bhrinraj and krisna til powder mixed in equal quantity twice a day. Himalaya anti hair fall oil and shampoo to be used on scalp. Along with this take diet rich in proteins, take adequate sleep of 7-8 hours and try to lead a stress free life. A very good luck,

Is it normal to have one nipple darker than the other for a non lactating woman? The breast with the lighter nipple is slightly bigger than the one with the darker nipple. Please tell me is it normal? I have noticed it recently. I do not know whether it has changed its colour recently or it has always been this way.

I am suffering from hair fall last 4 month. What is the cause and treatment of this disease.

BHMS
Homeopath, Sindhudurg
It is normal to lose about 30-80 strands of hair in a day. The common reasons behind hair fall are lack of essential nutrients in the body, improper and unhealthy dietary habits, hormonal imbalance, certain medications, dandruff, alopecia and other scalp disorders, stress and tension etc. Natural oils such as coconut, olive, jojoba, almond etc. Can be used to massage the scalp for countering hair fall. Gently massage the scalp prior to head bath twice a week. Also check hemoglobin for anaemia and thyroid status with serum tsh. Have more proteins and trace minerals like copper, zinc, selenium in diet. Start taking a hair nutrition supplement. Keep stress away with regular exercise, yoga, meditation. Get the underlying scalp condition like dandruff treated.

Hello, there can be many reasons behind it like *physical or emotional stress, inadequate protein intake, genetics, anemia, aging, hormonal changes, prolonged illness, deficiency of vitamin b6 and folic acid, thyroid diseases. Take homoeopathic medicines 1. Graphites 30 (4 drops in little water) every morning empty stomach only one dose in a day for 15 days. 2. Weisbaden 30 (4 drops in little water) twice a day for 15 days and update. Apply jobarandi hair oil. *make a habit of 8-10 glasses of water daily. *eat healthy and balanced food like pulses, green leafy vegetables, fresh fruits and nuts etc. *eggs as it is loaded with essential nutrients such as proteins, vitamin b12, iron, zinc and omega 6 fatty acids in large amount. *add more vitamin rich food to your diet. *avoid stress and anger. *cut down the use of hair spray, hair gel. *take a sound sleep. *avoid too much exposure of your hair to sunlight. *avoid hot hair styling tools, as they damage hair and cause split ends. *it is best not to comb the hair while it is wet as this leads to greater chances of hair breakage.

Is your hair loss accompanied with greying of hair and have they become very thin? your hair needs a very high protein well-rounded diet. Hair and nails are the last organs to get nutrition in the body, hence only if all the organs get sufficient nutrition and proteins, only then the remaining nutrition would be used for hairs. A strand of hair is composed of mostly protein, which means your hair needs protein to grow. Hence a therapeutic diet prescribed by a registered dietitian can help a lot in hair growth. Besides diet excessive stress, current/past dandruff and some medication are conclusively known to retard hair growth and promote hair loss. - cut down on the use of hair spray, hair gels, and styling creams that contain harsh chemical ingredients, which can dry out the scalp and cause the formation of flakes. Also harsh treatments such as perms, colours, relaxers etc take a toll on the health of your hair. - avoid changing your shampoo and conditioner constantly. Stick to one good mild cleansing shampoo for six months before changing. - excessive exposure to the sun, pollution, rain water and dust without proper protection makes the hair dry, brittle and limp. Use a live in conditioner during the rains to protect it from the humidity and wash and oil it regularly to maintain a healthy scalp. I may also prescribe medications like biotin or minox. That are proven to help in hairgrowth and repair I being a both a registered dietitian (rd) and doctor have been successfully helping patients with their problems through a holistic approach using customized therapeutic diet and medications. I will also suggest home remedies. Do reply back for private consultation for rx.

I am 18 years old, but my breast size is comparatively big than my other friends of my same age, what should I do now?

Advanced Aesthetics, M.Ch - Plastic Surgery, MS - General Surgery, MBBS

REDUCTION MAMMOPLASTY- is the treatment,it is surgical reduction of breast size with very gratifying results attained in a very short time.Surgery takes 2 hours and you may not need to be hospitalised more than a day. No one wants surgery unless it is necessary. There is no medication to give the results.Surgery is the only answer. The surgery is almost painless because there are enough medications to keep the pain under control

I am losing my hair from one week onwards .first there was less but now my hair falls constantly .so please doctor suggest me some shampoo air oil thank you.

BHMS
Homeopath,
Dear lybrate user, hair growth occurs in cycles. Each cycle consists of a long growing phase (anagen), a short transitional phase (catagen) and a short resting phase (telogen). At the end of the resting phase, the hair falls out (exogen) and a new hair starts growing in the follicle beginning the cycle again. Normally, about 40 hairs reach the end of their resting phase each day and fall out. When more than 100 hairs fall out per day, clinical hair loss may occur. Hair loss have many causes such as:- 1) shrinkage of the hair follicles due to the influence of androgenic hormones. 2) under-nutrition of the hair due to fungal infection on the scalp. 3) effects of radio therapy or chemotherapy. 4) nutritional deficiencies. 5) autoimmune diseases. Modes of treatment for hairfall/alopecia includes surgical modes, oral medicine & local external application. The minimum duration of the course of oral medicines & external application is 6 months. You can start the following medications:- 1) take 5 drops of thuja 1000, once in a week. 2) take 5 drops of homoeopathic acid flour 200 every morning before brushing your teeth. 3) take 4 tablets from biochemic kali sulph 6x tablets, thrice daily. Just chew the tablets as those tablets are sweet in taste. 4) take homoeopathic mother tincture jaborandi q, 30 drops, twice daily, after meals, in a cup of water. Kindly note that this medication may not be sufficient enough to take care of your problem. These medicines may need to be complemented by further deep-acting remedies after first month in order to permanently eliminate the underlying cause of the disease. So I would suggest you to consult me privately via lybrate as it is very necessary to diagnose the proper underlying cause of your problem if you are wishing for a permanent relief from your problems. A permanent annihilation of the underlying cause of the disease will not only provide you relief from your troubles but it will also cease any chance of further relapse of that particular disease condition.

Please recommend me some cream which contain kojic acid ,arbuti and safe for long term use.

MBBS
General Physician, Mumbai
Kojic acid is used to remove the dead cells of the skin and hence the exposed skin is more sensitive and can lead to rashes and also the skin will turn dry after using the soap leading to itching and hence it is not advisable for long term use

I have sensitive skin which gets irritated very easily. How should I take care of such delicate skin?

MD - Dermatology, MBBS
Dermatologist, Mumbai
Hello, please use a mild cleanser like Cetaphil or Moiz as facewash twice a day. Apply Elovera or Venusia moisturiser immediately after bath and in evening. Moisturised skin is better protected. Avoid hot water baths, avoid sun exposure. Use Spectraban or Suncross soft sunscreen prior to sun exposure.

Hello lybrate-user, well is he suffering from hair-loss due to water, or is it a stress-related issue. Nowadays we have lot of options for hair fall. The one I know which is recommended and receives many good reviews is the neel bringadi oil (kerala manufactured) massaging hair with this oil before bed time could be a solution. However, the stress needs to released, so it can be released by either talking to someone, or logging a diary to let go of the emotional turmoil. I hope he feels better. Regards.

I have black spots as well as pimples, using Lotus Teatreewash Face wash daily but not solved this issue, please help me out.

MBBS, Diploma In Dermatology And Venerology And Leprosy (DDVL)

PIMPLE Never pick or pop pimples with your fingers, as it can lead to infection and scarring. A dietary therapy with the right medications for pimples can also help a lot. Kojic acid (a natural skin lightener derived from mushroom extract), arbutin (also called bearberry extract), and vitamin C (ascorbic acid) are great alternative ingredients to lighten scars left by acne. Don't use vitamin E on scars. You may have heard that applying vitamin E to a scar will help it heal faster. But according to a study , applying the nutrient directly onto a scar can actually hinder its healing,if you want medicine than , i will prescibe , like daily apply night microbenz cream daytime use ahaglo facewash
