I want to loose 5 kg within a month is it possible?
If then kindly tell me how.
Thanks.
Yes, definitely it is possible. Drink warm water with lemon and honey added to it in morning empty stomach. And then do not eat or drink anything till next half hour. This burns the excess of fats of the body. And then do yoga or brisk walking. This will also help you a lot. All the best :) Take care :)

Managing Weight With Homeopathy!

Managing Weight With Homeopathy!

Weight management can be challenging for many people. Reaching an maintaining an optimum weight according to your age and height is necessary not only for aesthetic reasons but also to keep you healthy. Homoeopathy is a holistic treatment that can be very beneficial when it comes to weight loss. It has no side effects and can be used by people of all ages. Prescribing homeopathic remedies for weight loss involves understanding the constitution of the patient. Homeopathic medicines do not dissolve fat, but stimulate metabolism to burn more fat. The top 5 homeopathic medicines to lose weight are:

  1. Calcarea Carbonica: This remedy works well when excess fat is concentrated in the abdominal area and the person suffers from a low rate of metabolism. It can also be used to treat weight gain due to thyroid problems. People who benefit from this have a tendency to perspire excessively and cannot tolerate cold drafts. They may also have a craving for food such as boiled eggs, chalk, clay, lime and often suffer from constipation.
  2. Natrum Mur: This is usually recommended when treating excessive fat deposits in the thighs and buttocks. In many cases, this weight gain is due to exposure to stress or depression for a prolonged duration of time. Patients who benefit from this form of homeopathic treatment may suffer from anaemia and crave extra salt in their food. They may also be intolerant towards the heat of the sun and have a high internal body temperature.
  3. Lycopodium: This is used to treat excess fat in the thighs and buttocks in patients who are chronic sufferers of flatulence, constipation and other gastric troubles. These patients crave sweets and have a tendency to overeat.
  4. Nux Vomica: Nux vomica is recommended for obese people who have gained weight due to a sedentary lifestyle. Such people often suffer from constipation and are intolerant to cold air. They also show a marked preference for spicy food and stimulants such as coffee or alcohol. People who benefit from this form of medication for weight loss are also extremely sensitive to other people’s opinions and get angry quickly.
  5. Antimonium Crudum: Obese children can be treated with this form of homeopathic medicine to lose weight. These children have an aversion to being touched or looked at and crave acidic food like pickles. They may also suffer from gastric troubles alternating between constipation and diarrhoea due to a tendency to overeat.

lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. From the description it appears to be a paronychia infection, which affects part around the nail. It is a very painful condition. If it has become yellow, means there is pus collection. That has to be drained and cleaned then dressed. It will take a few days to heal. She may need a course of antibiotic for 5 to 7 days. There is no need to worry so much. I do not undestand what injection is given when the infection is just developing. There is absolutely no need. She should also control her blood glucose strictly, because high glucose can hinder healing. Thanks.

I have a 8 years old daughter. She is a old case of atopic dermatitis. However between age 2-6 she had no problems. Now her IgE level is 1600. Her condition worsens when she catches cold, eats nuts, chips and chocolates. She responds only to topical steroids namely mometasone furoate. Which medicine can help reduce her IgE levels?

MD Paediatrics, MBBS
Pediatrician, Hyderabad
Consult your paediatrician if its very frequent. There is no medicine to reduce the ige levels but you can take certain precautions to avoid such situations. Avoid exposure to dust, cold air/breeze, cold beverages, artificial flavours and chemicals such as cakes, ice cream and chocaltes.

I am 17 years old and facing pimples and marks on my face from last 3 months. What should I do?

I am 17 years old and facing pimples and marks on my face from last 3 months. What should I do?
Do let me know if you also have blackheads with pimples? and what current medications and remedies you already tried to treat acne? acne is a common problem in teen. Almost everybody will get pimples during their teen years. First, don't try to self treat acne. Some popular nonprescription acne lotions, cleansers and other skin products can cause a serious reaction (rare), mostly it is normal to have acne in teenage. For pimples it's important to wash your face twice daily to remove impurities, dead skin cells, and extra oil from your skin's surface, avoid touching your face or propping your cheek or chin on your hands. Not only can you spread bacteria, you can also irritate the already inflamed facial skin. Never pick or pop pimples with your fingers, as it can lead to infection and scarring. A dietary therapy with the right medications for pimples can also help a lot. Kojic acid (a natural skin lightener derived from mushroom extract), arbutin (also called bearberry extract), and vitamin c (ascorbic acid) are great alternative ingredients to lighten scars left by acne. Don't use vitamin e or any self prescribed preparations on scars or pimples. Increasing the intake of omega-3 fatty acids through a diet significantly rich in fish and seafood results in lower rates of an inflammatory disease like acne. A low-glycemic-index diet also reduces acne risk. I being a both a registered dietitian (rd) and doctor have been successfully helping patients with their problems through a holistic approach using customized therapeutic diet and medications. I will also suggest home remedies. Do reply back for private consultation for rx.

What should I do regularly or keep in practise daily to increase my sexual time during intercourse plzz advise in brief.

DHMS (Diploma in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery)

What should I do regularly or keep in practise daily to increase my sexual time during intercourse plzz advise in brief.
Kegel exercises aim at strengthening the pelvic floor muscles. Thus helping in increasing your sexual time---------- to correctly implement the technique, you need to know how to tighten the correct pelvic muscles. One approach of finding the muscle is by sitting on the toilet seat and urinating. Stopping the urine flow leads to the tightening of the pelvic muscles. I recommend a technique to carry out the exercise properly: start by emptying your bladder completely. Then tighten the pelvic muscles for nearly 10 seconds. Relax the muscles for another 10 seconds. Repeat the exercise three times a day with 10 repetitions each time.

Dear Lybrate User, Please take your cousin to a Counsellor. It appears that your cousin has lot of suppressed emotions. He needs a healthy outlet for the same. A Counsellor will help your cousin to relieve his stress and also will help him to cope up with life situations. All the best.
