Investigations adv: hb, tlc, dlc, esr, sugar f & pp, uric acid, vit d3 urine r/e x ray of the affected part sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. For emergency treatment contact your nearest hospital or family doctor. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again.

Hello lybrate user, back pain that is associated with day time sedentary jobs like computer professional s are associated with paraspinal muscle spasms. The best way to tackle this sort of pain is to do well spaced stretching exercises of the back, back extension exercises, using hot water bags to provide relief and avoiding stooping posture while sitting. Posture also plays a very important part in back pain, always maintain a straight posture while sitting. While getting up from the bed try to first go on your left or right side of the body and get up side ways. Avoid cruntches or sit-ups: they may increase the pressure on your back and may predispose to slip disc. Always maintain a healthy lifestyle in terms of regular brisk walking, meditation, eating healthy. P. S: try to avoid pain killers (analgesics) as much as possible as many are associated with side effects that you may not be aware of. Stay healthy. Stay happy god bless you.

Avoid Squatting- Quadriceps Exercises- Lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core Strengthening Exercise- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Do learn stretching and strengthening exercises from neuro physiotherapist have balanced diet and avoid stress anxiety and anticipating the things do regular physical activity and breathing exercises for about 30 minutes regularly best wishes.

Identify the mid point between the ankle bone and tendons and give pressure with a blunt edge on either side of your foot for 2 minutes. Also give pressure in the web between 2nd and 3rd finger from your toe for 2 minutes. Finally give a good massage for both feet in hot water. Identify the dipping portion on the back of your knee folding. Press this dip with both middle fingers and hold your knee with your thumbs for support. Please swing 20 times morning and evenings. Inform after 10 days for further guidance.

Yes this is vertigo at particular angle of the neck, first thing you need to go for neck x ray for cervical spondylosis than there is need for the audiological profile of the ears.

There are so many reasons for pain in knee joint, after detailed history and examination conclusive diagnosis can be made. According to me you might be suffering from vitamin D deficiency or cartilage problem, get your blood tests done which include sugar, thyroid Vitamin D, vitamin B12, blood count and Rheumatoid factor.

Shoulder Advice... Hot Fomentation. Gentle Shoulder Stretching. Core Strengthening Exercises. Gentle Neck Exercises. Avoid sleeping on affected side.

I have a bone (haglund's syndrome) projection in back of my foot. Can it be cured? if I lift weight (more than 20kgs) my foot will pain. If I climb steps, it will pain.

After getting mri done, not much to contribute for btterment, don't go for operation. Back pain depends on lot of factors such as your profession, type of work, the way you sit, the way you sleep, the way you lift the things etc. Best way is take rest on flat (palang) bed with 2 inches thickness, don't bend & work or lift any thing from ground, rest should be complete except allowing youself to bath room& all the instruction which are advised by qualified doctor or physiotherapist. I am sure you will be much better, take some simple pain killers like dolo 650 mg three times daily on & off when you require them. Don' t forget todo some back extension exercises when you don't feelpain to prevent future episodes of pain.

Hello, I am 45 years female having a overweight problem. (5ft / 70 kgs) have gone through hystectomy operation in 2012. Currently my throid level is 4.16 and doctors have asked me to reduce the weight because I am suffering from knee pain recently. Can I get the solution / guidance to loose weight so that I can have my throid controlled as I have started walking daily as an exercise. My job profile is alsways at the desk. Also I need a solution for my knee pain problem. Currently I am taking calcium supplementary called glucosamine tablets.

Your BMI is 30.30kg/m2 which is showing you are obese. The ways to reduce weight are mainly two 1) reduce the food intake, 2) exercise and burn extra calories. There are drugs like orlistat tabs which does help in reduction of weight (about 6 kg in a year), but has certain side effects. Since you complain of knee pain, can try some stretching exercises and abdominals which do not put strain on knees. Also alternately join yoga classes learn asanas that help. Set a target of reducing 2 kgs per month, that can be achieved by cutting down 550 calories from your daily intake. Your caloric intake daily should not exceed 1000 calories and exercising has to continue. Glucosamine is not calcium supplement, it is supposed to help cartilage building but evidence is not there. Calcium tabs can tab veba plus daily one for a few months.

Although scanning stomach & stone in right kidney does not have any relevance ,, but if you are having stone ,, tke plenty of water daily, avoid rice ,tomato ..take kulath dall along with herbal treatment

U may be suffering from osteoarthritis. My advise is to take ayurvedic treatment and calcium supplements. Avoid over exertion. Take proper sleep at night. Apply oil and massage on the joints.

Hello lybrate user do back strengthen exercises and morning walk. Your back muscles r going to stiff and fatigue. Correct your posture. Regular exercises will increase strength of back muscles.
