First of all if you are not taking any preventive measures for birth control, you need to check weather you are pregnant or not. Then after I can suggest you treatment. Don't go for any type of medicine without confirmation of pregnancy test.

Hello- follicular study is just an investigation to study your ovulation during your menses. >if your ovulation is not happening during the phases of your menses (due to pcod) than you can not conceive. If you are having ovulation than your doctor might suggest your another test like hystero salpingography to check your fallopian tube patency.

Hello Ms. Lybrate-user, it's just been one year that you are trying for pregnancy. In one year about 70% women conceive and in 2 years about 80-90%. So if your tubes and other parameters are fine you should try for a few more months before anything invasive. Laparoscopy is a surgery where camera is passed through a small cut to look at pelvic structures and any abnormalities like adhesions etc and do necessary procedure simultaneously if possible. All the best.

Last year I missed my periods for two months and went to an alopathic doctor. He asked me to have a transvaginal scan and few blood tests. I had a minor PCOD problem and gave me berbesta tabs. I had them for three months and my periods started regularising. After that this year I did not get my periods since january and this time I went to a homeopathic doc and he gave me a dozen of medicines including Ashoka syrup but still I did not get any result. I don't know what to do. I am constantly trying to lose weight and also improved my living habits like stopped junk food, started exercising, eating healthy. What do I do?

Use of emergency contraceptive pill can disturb your regular periods. And moreover, you have mention that you are suffering from PCOD which is itself a disease where irregular periods is a symptom. So these 2 problems are surely the cause of you irregular period and flow. Just take treatment for PCOD and nothing else is required from your part.

Dear user. I can understand. The developing life is called embryo until about eight weeks after fertilization. Abortions that happen in 4th week of pregnancy are removals of the embryo, even though a fetus can also be removed from the uterus. In any case, you should consult your gynecologist before taking steps to abort. Take care.

My wife is pregnant doctor told that cervix is so small then need to do stitches is really necessary?
If cervical length is less than 2.5 cm it is called as short cervix. This can lead to cervical incompetence, opening up of the cervix as weight of fetus increases and loss of pregnancy. Cervical stitch can help this.
