Sometimes it may be genetic problem. Do not use borring water for hairwash. Wash hair 2 times in a week. Drink plenty of water. Eat green vegetables & fruits.

‘மாஸ்டர் 3 டீ, அதுல ரெண்டு சக்கரை இல்லாம....’இன்று டீக்கடைகளில் அடிக்கடி இப்படி கேட்கலாம். ஒரு காலத்தில் ‘பணக்காரர்களின் வியாதி’ என்று சொல்லப்பட்ட சர்க்கரை நோய், இன்றைக்கு இல்லாத வீடுகளே இல்லை என்ற அளவுக்கு அதிகரித்துவிட்டது. 40 வயதை கடந்தவர்களுக்கு மட்டுமே வந்த சர்க்கரை, இன்று 20 வயதில் உள்ளவர்களையும் எளிதில் பாதிக்கும் அளவுக்கு வந்துவிட்டது. அதற்குக் காரணம், வாழ்க்கை முறை மற்றும் உணவுப் பழக்கத்தில் ஏற்பட்ட மாறுதல்கள்தான். நமது உடலில் இன்சுலின் உற்பத்தி மற்றும் அதன் செயல்பாடுகளில் குறை ஏற்படுவதால், ரத்தத்தில் சர்க்கரையின் அளவு அதிகரிக்கிறது.சார்லஸ் பெஸ்ட் என்பவருடன் இணைந்து, பிரடெரிக் பான்டிங் என்பவர், 1921ம் ஆண்டில் சர்க்கரை நோய்க்கு பயன்படும் இன்சுலின் மருந்தைக் கண்டுபிடித்தார். பான்டிங்கின் பிறந்த தினம் நவம்பர் 14. இந்த நாள்தான், உலக அளவில் இந்த நோய் குறித்த விழிப்பு உணர்வை உண்டாக்குவதற்காக ‘உலக சர்க்கரை நோய் விழிப்பு உணர்வு தினம்‘ என ஐக்கிய நாடுகள் சபையால் 2006 முதல் கடைபிடிக்கப்படுகிறது.

அடிக்கடி தாகம், சிறுநீர் கழித்தல், பசி ஆகிய மூன்றுமே சர்க்கரை நோயின் அறிகுறிகள். சர்க்கரை நோய்க்கு மிக முக்கிய காரணம் உடல் பருமன். இதில் டைப்1, டைப்2 மற்றும் கர்ப்பக் கால சர்க்கரை நோய் என்று மூன்று வகை உள்ளன. இதைத்தவிர, ‘சர்க்கரை நோய்க்கு முந்தைய நிலை’ என்று சொல்லக்கூடிய ‘ப்ரீ டயாபீட்டிஸ்’ வகையும் உள்ளது.உடல், இன்சுலினை முற்றிலும் சுரக்காத நிலையை டைப்1 சர்க்கரை நோய் என்கிறோம். பெரும்பாலும் குழந்தைகளுக்கே இது ஏற்படுகிறது. உலக அளவில் காணப்படும் 90 சதவிகித சர்க்கரை நோயாளிகள், இந்த வகையைச் சேர்ந்தவர்கள்தான். உடலானது இன்சுலினை உற்பத்தி செய்யும். ஆனால், அது குறைந்த அளவாகவோ அல்லது தேவையான ஆற்றல் இல்லாததாகவோ இருக்கும். பெரும்பாலும் உடல் பருமன் உள்ளவர்களுக்கு இந்த நோய் வருவதற்கான வாய்ப்பு அதிகமாக உள்ளது. பெண்கள் சிலருக்கு, கர்ப்பக் காலத்தில் ரத்தத்தில் சர்க்கரையின் அளவு அதிகமாக இருக்கும். அதை ஈடுகட்டும் வகையில், கணையத்தால் இன்சுலின் சுரக்க முடியாமல் போகும். இதையே ‘கர்ப்பக் கால சர்க்கரை நோய்’ என்கிறோம்.

சர்க்கரை நோயாளிகளைவிட, ப்ரீ டயாபடீஸ் நிலையில் இருப்பவர்களின் எண்ணிக்கை அதிகம். இவர்களுக்கு சர்க்கரை நோய் எந்நேரமும் வரலாம். இவர்களுக்கு ரத்தத்தில் சர்க்கரை அளவு என்பது சராசரிக்கும் அதிகமாக இருக்கும். அதேநேரத்தில் சர்க்கரை நோய் என்று குறிப்பிடும் அளவுக்குக் குறைவாக இருக்கும். இவர்கள் எச்சரிக்கையாக இருந்தால், சர்க்கரை அளவை கட்டுக்குள் வைத்துக் கொள்ள முடியும்.இந்த நான்கு நிலையிலும் இருப்பவர்களுக்கு உணவுக்கட்டுப்பாடு மற்றும் உடற்பயிற்சி மிகமிக அவசியம். முதல் மூன்று நிலைகளில் இருப்பவர்களுக்கு மருந்து, மாத்திரைகள் தேவைப்படலாம். கூடுமான வரையிலும் உணவு மற்றும் உடற்பயிற்சி மூலமாக கட்டுப்படுத்துவதே நல்லது. எல்லை மீறும்போது, மருந்துகள், இன்சுலின் இவற்றை விட்டால் வேறு வழியில்லை.

இன்று உலகில் 38.2 கோடி மக்கள் சர்க்கரை நோயால் பாதிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளனர். இது 2035ம் ஆண்டில் 59.3 கோடியாக உயரும் வாய்ப்பிருப்பதாக ஆய்வில் தெரியவந்துள்ளது. அதாவது 10ல் ஒருவருக்குச சர்க்கரை நோய் இருக்கும். 1970களில் நகர்ப்புறங்களில் 9 சதவீதம் பேரும், கிராமப்புறங்களில் 2 சதவீதம் பேரும் சர்க்கரை நோயால் பாதிக்கப்பட்டிருந்தனர். இது தற்போது நகர்ப்புறங்களில் 20 சதவீதமாகவும், கிராமப்புறங்களில் 10 சதவீதமாகவும் உயர்ந்துள்ளது. சர்க்கரை நோய் பாதிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளவர்களில் 50 சதவீதம் பேருக்கு இதய நோய்கள், கிட்னி பாதிப்புகள் உள்ளிட்ட நோய்கள் இருப்பதும் தெரியவந்துள்ளது.சர்க்கரை நோய்க்கு மருந்து மாத்திரைகளுடன் உணவுக்கட்டுப்பாடு, சீரான உடற்பயிற்சி மேற்கொள்ள வேண்டும். சர்க்கரை நோயை கட்டுக்குள் கொண்டு வருவோம். வாழ்க்கையை இனிப்பாக்கி கொள்வோம்.

According to your height, your weight should be nearly about 58 to 70 kgs. At the age of 21 the height growth usually gets stopped due to fusion of bones. But you can try for following ways to increase both height and weight - Some tips to increase your height: 1.Do Exercise regularly: Spending much time and doing many exercises is not important, as it will not give you efficient output .Every exercise is different and done for different results. Do only stretching exercises that helps you to increase the space between your vertebrae and due to which your height increases. Swimming is also considered a good exercise for increasing height. 2.Take proper sleep: Taking a proper sleep is also important as it is scientifically proven that our body produces more human growth hormone during sleep. You should sleep for 6-8 hours daily. During sleeping body repairs the damaged cells which is equally important. 3.Have proper diet: Have a proper calcium, protein diet, as protein helps in human growth while calcium helps in making bones stronger. Your diet should be balanced with all the essential minerals. Eat enough fruits and drink lots of water. Hello, Veganism means restriction of all animal products from your diet like milk,meat,fish,poultry. All these foods are best sources of Proteins,Calcium and other minerals.Thus other sources of proteins like soyabean, pulses and sprouts to be included in the diet.Calcium rich sources like Ragi,Bajra,Leafy vegetables, sesame seeds to be included in the diet.

Headache can be due to multiple reasons. High blood pressure/ Problems of near or distant vision. Not using spectacles/ change required in glasses power. Nose/ ear / Throat infection/ Sinus infection/Tooth infection.Some time there can be brain tumour. For Treatment of specific cause of disease, consult your doctor. However Rest/ Steam inhalation/ applying Balm on fore head/ Tea /Coffee may help.

Flat tummy tips 1. Change lifestyle In order to get your body flat life style should be changed. Long term sitting like watching TV, Video gaming should be changed. You should do your work in time intervals instead of working in same position for long intervals. 2. Zero Calories Take the things that are of Zero Calories. Water will be the best choice. Take abundant intake of water in a day with regular interval. It has no calories and it helps in burning calories. Extra deposition of fat will dissolve by abundant water intake. Make it your habit and see the results. 3. Drink Water Before Meal It is highly recommended you that don’t drink water after meal. Water should be drink before meal. Make it your habit. Because drinking after meal will slow down the digestion and cause increase in fat. 4. Walking Habit Walking is necessary for your better health and in reducing fat. You might be having allergic rhinitis and allergic conjunctivitis probably due to some pollen allergan from the atmosphere. Use otrivin nasay spray for your nasal congestion and olopatidine eye drops for your eyes.

Hello cream might not be helpful to get expected results. It would be better to opt for cosmetic procedure like 1. Scar reduction 2. Co2 laser 3. Microneedling 4. Subscision etc choice of modality of procedure, depends upon skin type, depth of scar. Better to consult a cosmetic dermatologist in person.

PCOS & Diet in Pregnancy!

Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome or Disease (PCOS) is a very common condition, wherein there are multiple cysts in the ovaries. As a result, there are many changes which the body undergoes and it is not limited to the gynecologic system. A woman with PCOS may also find it difficult to conceive, and so, once she is pregnant, precautions are essential to ensure there are no complications.

Pcos predisposes women to diabetes, hypertension, obesity, cardiovascular complications, lipid metabolism disorders, uterine cancer in long run. Some of them are listed below:

  1. Preeclampsia: When the blood pressure readings are high during pregnancy, it is known as preeclampsia. It brings with it a whole lot of complications including the need to cesarean section (c-section), premature birth, etc. So, it is best avoided, and diet can help to some extent.
  2. Diabetes: Gestational diabetes which manifests as higher sugar levels only during the pregnancy is very common in women with PCOS. The increased hormone levels in PCOS increase insulin resistance, thereby increasing sugar levels. This needs to be managed through a combination of diet, exercise, and lifestyle changes.
  3. Preterm labor: Women with PCOS are at a slightly higher risk of premature labor.
  4. Weight-related issues: PCOS leads to weight gain, and this could be a problem during pregnancy. It is essential to discuss with the doctor as to what would be a good weight range and stay within that range throughout pregnancy. Weight gain brings with it a host of complications and so best avoided.

Dietary changes:

With PCOS, during pregnancy, strict cautious diet planning can help in avoiding complications and allow for an easier pregnancy. Though they may not solve every problem associated with PCOS, dietary modifications can have a significant effect on the overall health and well-being. Listed below are some easy-to-make changes:

  1. Increase consumption of fibres like greens, nuts, pumpkin, berries, whole grains, almonds, etc. are included. This ensures that digestion is a prolonged and gradual spike in blood sugar levels.
  2. Increase protein-rich foods like soya, tofu, eggs, and chicken, which help in avoiding binging. They are light on the stomach and help in weight management.
  3. Foods which are generally anti-inflammatory including tomatoes, olive oil, spinach, fresh fruits, and omega-3 fatty acids help in controlling blood pressure and cholesterol levels.
  4. Supplements to include omega-3 fatty acids, prenatal vitamins, vitamin D, and calcium if required ensure that the baby gets the required nutrients for optimal growth.

What to avoid:

Anything that can spike up calories and is of low nutritional value should be avoided.

  1. Avoid whites – pasta, rice, and bread
  2. Baked and processed foods
  3. Candies, chocolates, snacks
  4. Salty and spicy fried snacks
  5. Aerated drinks and soda

Hello lybrate-user follow these simple steps to ensure a good sleep every night and stay away from sleep disorders and other health problems associated with unhealthy sleep habits: 1) maintain a regular sleep routine go to bed at the same time. Wake up at the same time. Ideally, your schedule will remain the same (+/- 20 minutes) every night of the week. A good sleep hygiene routine promotes healthy sleep and daytime alertness. 2) avoid sleeping during the daytime. It can disturb the normal pattern. 3) avoid caffeine, nicotine, and alcohol near bedtime. While alcohol may speed the onset of sleep, it creates problems in he second half of sleep. 4) exercise can promote good sleep. Exercise should be taken in the morning or late afternoon. Turn off the tv and other extraneous noise that may disrupt sleep. Background'white noise' like a fan is ok. If your pets awaken you, keep them outside the bedroom. Your bedroom should be dark. Turn off bright lights. Have a comfortable mattress. 6) avoid heavy meals close to bedtime. 7) ensure adequate exposure to natural light. 8) avoid emotionally upsetting conversations and activities before trying to go to sleep. Do not think of, or bring your problems to bed. 9) stop using all your digital devices and stop looking at digital screens be it mobile phones or televisions at least 1 hour before the time you plan to sleep. Instead try reading a fiction book near bedtime so it makes you help relaxed and de-stressed. Sleep well live healthy and live longer.

Dear, To control & maintan BP normal these are best methods to follow:.• Do physical exercise like jogging, running or brisk walk for atleast 20-30 minutes. • Maintain your cholesterol level to normal & eat least amount of butter, cream or fatty things. • Eat less amount of pickle, salt and fast food as they contain high sodium levels. • Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking. • Take less amount of caffine containing coffee, tea or cold drinks because caffine causes increase BP. • Drink 8 to 10 glass of water daily • Take 6 to 8 hrs of sleep daily. Do not take too much stress. • Do long breathing pranayams (Anulom- Vilom, Bhramari) daily for 10 - 15 minutes. It will reduce your stress level in your body. • Eat healthy diet such as green leafy vegetables, fruits. • Take 5 ml of GULAB Jal added in a glass of water daily once a day.

A curved penis simply can be a result of individual anatomy. The direction that an erect penis takes depends on the proportion of crus (penis under the skin) to exposed penis. Men with a shorter crus, and thus a longer penis, are more likely to have an erection that points downward, while an erect penis that has a longer crus will probably point outward, or even straight up. Sometimes the penis also bends to the left or to the right. I think in your case bending may be due to short crus. In the vast majority of cases, the curve falls well within the norms of most men and should not be a deterrent for a relationship. If, however, your penis has a pronounced curve or bends sharply to the left or right — especially if penetration is impossible or if an erection is painful — you should see a urologist.

Hello, Thanks for your query on Lybrate "As"per your clinical history is concerned please follow like this - 1)Take [DIPROL tab-25mg]twice a day [morning and bedtime] regularly 2)Massage each of your temples with one drop of peppermint essential oil or a combination of peppermint and lavender oils. Leave it on for at least 20 minutes. Do this a few times a day for headaches. 3)Try to avoid triggers. If certain foods or odors seem to have triggered your headaches in the past, avoid them. 4)Try to reduce your tea and coffee 5)Try to establish a daily routine with regular sleep patterns and regular meals. In addition, try to control stress. 6)Do exercise regularly. Regular aerobic exercise reduces tension and can help prevent migraines. 6)Obesity is also thought to be a factor in migraine headaches, and regular exercise can help you maintain a healthy weight or lose weight. 7)Reduce the effects of estrogen.
