Hello Friends! I am Dr. Suman Nigam. I am graduated from Lucknow. Here I am practicing as a gynecologist and obstetrician and I have a special interest in infertility. I deal with the problems of women and children. I have a clinic in Vasant Kunj, Delhi. Aaj me apko menstrual disorder ke bare me btaungi. Ye ek aisa time hota hai jisme ldki me kafi chances aate hain. Physical and psychological. Jab menses me disturbance aata hai to patient kafi disturb ho jata hai. Iske kya kya disorder ho skte hai. Excessive bleeding, severe pain, bleeding hone ke baad kuch time ke lia menses ka band ho jana. Sabse pehle hume ye pta hona chaiye ki normal menstrual flow kaisa hona chaiye. As per WHO, menstrual ke 3 saal ke baad inka flow kam ho jata hai. 2-7 days ki bleeding normal hoti hai. Average blood loss 35ml hona chaiye. Agar patient ko 7 days se jyada bleeding ho rhi hai or sanitary napkin 6 se jyada use ho rhi hain or periods bhi jldi jldi aa jate hain ya fir 45 days se aage ja rha hai to patient ko gynecologist se milna chaiye. Starting ke 2 saal egg nhi banta hai. Islia ye disturbance aa skte hain. Agar heavy bleeding hai to hume dekhna pdta hai ki hormonal chances kaise hain, thyroid ka disturbance nhi hai, excessive stress to nhi hai. Eating pattern kya hai. Patient kitna physically active hai. Jayad exercise bhi krna ka effect menses pe pdta hai. Hume dekhna pdta hai ki ye kisi bimari ki vjha se to nhi ho rha hai. Hume dekhna pdta hai ki fibroid to nhi hai ya fir koi or problem to nhi hai. Hume bleeding disorder and ovulatory disorder bhi dekhna hota hai. Iske lia different types ki investigation ki jati hai. Like blood, hormonal test and ultrasound kia jata hai. Jayad blood loss hone se patient me anemia hone ke chances bhi hote hain. Islia unki problem ke hisab se iska treatment dia jata hai. Hormonal pills dia jate hain. So that cycle regulate ho jaye. Next problem hai dysmenorrhea (painful menstruation). Lekin kuch cases me ye painkiller dene se bhi thik ho jata hai. Ye bhi dekha jata hai ki koi infection to nhi hai. Ab ye bhi dekha jata hai ki absence of menses na ho. Agar patient ke sare body parts bhi ache se develop ho gye hain to bhi ye problem hai to usko treatment dia jata hai. Agar patient 14 years ki hai or uske sexual parts developed nhi hai to bhi ye ek concern hai jo dekha jata hai. Ab ye bhi ho skta hai ki 3-4 cycle aane ke baad bhi periods band ho gye hain to hume uska cause dekhna pta hai. Jaise PCOS bhi ho skta hai or hormonal changes.
