I consulted one orthopedic doctor and without any x-ray or anything, he told it could be due to vitamin D deficiency which appeared very strange to me. Can someone pls guide me.

Pain in the foot, ankle and stiffness of the lower leg is due to constant pain and that makes the leg to have less blood circulation due to less movements and that becomes rigid for which doing hot water fermentation will help and also mcr chappals can be used to feel relaxed and comfortable along with lumbosacral belt to improve the abdominal muscle tone.

If it's just swelling, don't worry. Apply ice on knees. Do proper warm-up and cool down. Stiffness will go with cooling down and stretching exercises.

I had torn my knee ACL partially 6 years back. After rehab and strengthening it for 4 months I started playing football again and in the last 3 Years I have done a lot of knee and legs strengthening exercises and never experienced any pain even when I lifted heavy weights on back and front squats. I also kept playing football every now and then but wasn't very regular. Now a few weeks back I started playing football twice every weekend and on the second day I felt a littler jerk in my knee. There was a little pain but that went away in the weekdays and I was able to play on Saturday and Sunday again. But on Sunday I felt that jerk again. Thought it would be best to get it checked out. I had gotten a knee MRI done in December and the doctor told me that its a little torn but if there is no pain I can continue playing and working out. Took the same MRI to another doctor and he told me that I need to get a surgery done and that's the only way to fix this. My question is this- what if I don't get the surgery done? Can I continue playing football? Is there another way to fix this. Are there other things I should try before I get the surgery done? How long is the rehab process post surgery. Will I be bed ridden etc. Please help. Thanks.

You must have torn your acl completely this time since you had a jerk twice and you are experiencing instability in the knee joint and thats why you are not able to play football. You should get another mri of knee and see a sports injury specialist. If there is complete acl tear and you want to play football then you need to get acl reconstructive surgery.

Tennis elbow
Tennis elbow is caused by overuse of muscles attached to the elbow that are used to straighten wrist. Also known as lateral epicondylitis in which places the muscles and tendons on the outside of elbow at risk. These muscles are responsible for bending the wrist backwards and stabilizing the wrist during forceful grasping with the hand

My brother got a knee injury during playing. And his MRI impressions are as follows. :Bucket handle tear of medial meniscus. :high grade partial tear of anterior cruciate ligament. :bone contusion/marrow edema in the posterior aspect of lateral tibial condyle and in the lateral femoral condyle. :Grade-2 sprain in medial collateral ligament. :moderate joint effusion. Give proper suggestions regarding surgery AMD if the recovery is done without surgery. Give proper suggestions.

If there is lot of swelling wait for two weeks to settle down and wear a knee brace or immobilizer and definitely you will need surgery for that as torn meniscus will cause arthritis if not removed and acl should be reconstructed if ruptured surgery is safe and you should opt for surgery.

Sir my age is 19 but I am suffering from knee pain regularly. My shirts becomes heavy due to sweats. What should I do.
Advice. Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area contrast fomentation (hot and cold).
