Dear sir, my sister went for usg on19 weeks and that time femur was one week and two days behind and now on 29th week usg femur is 3 weeks and 3 days behind, where humerious is also 3 weeks behind and other long bones are also slight short now its 32 weeks completed and we are confused and even Dr. Is not sure that how baby will be on its birth. So I want to know after pregnancy how will this baby survive, is it finds any problem or defect during its life? we are just on a hope kindly share your experience on such kind of cases and guid us and help us patients age is -23 thanks.

Tips to prevent arthritis.

Arthritis in different forms affects a large number of people all over the world. There can be primary and secondary causes of arthritis, the most common being a degenerative form of arthritis, which can be due to the ageing process. There is also wear and tear of the cartilage between the two articulating bones, which forms the joint and in some cases, due to osteoporosis bones are already weaker and softer and susceptible to deformation.

Tips -

*Physical activity like choose stairs instead of lifts, walk 500 metres before getting into the car.
*Start mild to moderate exercises and weight management.
*Indulge in distressing activities like meditation.
*Protect your joints from fresh injury as well as the existing injuries.
*Drink plenty of water.
*Increase your calcium intake.
*Increase your vitamin intake.
*Treat injuries.
*Reduce repetitive motion in your daily life.
*Avoid smoking.
*Avoid alcohol consumption as it weakens bone health and structure.
*Try taking glucosamine and chondroitin.
*Drink milk regularly, and in case you are lactose intolerant then switch to calcium and broccoli for calcium intake.
*For a post menopausal woman, hormone replacement therapy and additional calcium and vitamin d are important.
*Practice yoga or simple stretching.
*Use of good body mechanics.
*Make sure that your shoes are the right size and make sure that they are padded.
*Avoid inflammatory foods

Often chronic inflammation is associated with a host of diseases, some of which are even life threatening like cancer and heart disease. You will be surprised to find that most of the internal inflammatory conditions occur due to the increased consumption of certain foods such as: salt, sugar, sweeteners, alcohol, caffeine, injected meat, common cooking oil, trans fats and red meat.

Home remedies for arthritis -
*One teaspoon of honey and apple cider vinegar each with a cup of warm water 
*Ginger
*Mustard oil
*Turmeric
*Epsom salt
*Cinnamon
*Fish oil
*Alfalfa
*Cherries
*Borage

Tightness in left chest area and shoulder from several days and my doctor did ecg one month ago and he said it's fine and he came to conclusion that it's muscle related and I was experiencing muscle spasm. There is lots of stomach and heart burn. I'm extremely terrified by this and full of anxiety.

you shoul be take medicines for uric acid if you did not take rise uic acid level and more pain in joints. so take tab. zyloric 100 mg once a day for continue ..for control pain you can take tab. naprosyn 500 mg sos. you can do MRI for confirm cause of pain in shoulder and neck.

This back pain is due to no back exercise. Due to this muscle get stiff. When suddenly you get move fast that time this stiff muscle get break and pain start. In ayurved there is mentioned one procedure kati basti. Do this for five days with medicated oil if you want to do it you should do it under doctor observation. So consult ayurvedic doctor near you. You will definitely get good result.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. If you have no pain now, you can start with gentle exercises initially for short duration of time and see how it goes, but increase your activity in short increments daily. Also it will be advisable initially to do it under supervision of a trained physical therapist but you should at least wait for 3-4 weeks to give adequate time for inflammation to subside. Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily .Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. .Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily – lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana ? Your leg pain and shoulder pain---* walking regularly at slow pace and gentle movement of your shoulder without unduly straining helps as it improves blood circulation around knee and eases the joint. *you can use mustard oil for massage which is good in winter season for relieving pain. Eucalyptus oil is also good. Coconut oil will be soothing in summer. Homoeopathy has a good treatment for this without adverse effects. Take bryonia 200---twice daily morning and evening and give feedback after 7 days.

Whenever there Is stress on muscels (like standing on toes, twisting backward to watch behind etc etc). There Is pain like there Is vein on vein.

Kindly show me a photograph & digital x rays of affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days. Bio d3 max 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. Do reply back for detailed treatment plan. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Mr. Lybrate-user, to reduce uric acid, you will have to restrict high purine containing foods like: organ meats, red meat, certain fishes such as sardines, scallops, shell fish, salmon, herrings, haddock, trout, anchovies, mussels, mushrooms. Plus no sweetened aerated drinks, alcohol and high fat milk products. You can take low fat milk products, egg whites, plenty of fruits and vegetables. There are specific drugs used to reduce uric acid called as uricosuric agents which increase the excretion, those can be used.
