I think I have been suffering from social anxiety and depression since last 7-8 months after I got a news about my partner cheating. Though we have talked it out, I am not able to believe her anymore even if she tells truth. I don't go out much, I hardly talk to people and I carry some of sort of guilt as if everyone is talking about me behind my back. I have started to lie to people without any reason, I don't feel positive at all. every time I am just paranoid about my relationship, if my girlfriend is lying or cheating. I am also not able to talk to my family members over phone. Basically I want to be left alone all the time in my own world. Before this relationship started, I had another relationship which I got rid of after discovering my girlfriend is cheating on me after 4 years of commitment. The past haunts me and now the lies of my current girlfriend have made me miserable.

If you r having high blood pressure or anxiety then you should take medicine for that. It will control your insomnia. Otherwise you may take Brahmi vati 01 tablet + 1/2 tablet of Sarpgandha ghan vati two times a day. It will control your problem in some days. Meditation or sitting calmly in Padmsan posture will be helping u.

I don?t think that you just think about that, you must be obsessing. This tendency is based on unnatural fear and will eventually lead to OCD, if it hasn?t already. There must have been some childhood experience around fear that has not been resolved and it is coming up now in this form. You must meet with a counselor along with your parents and find out where this fear originated and what the occasion was. The obsession is about hygiene and perhaps infection that stimulates this kind of reaction. You will need to get a reality check with a medical person to dispel these fears and accept that your immune system is able to fight minor infections rather efficiently. Of course you must be able to trust that source and accept it as a fact: this may take time but is a very important exercise in your therapy. You may also learn that certain amount of hygiene is essential but not extreme and any excessive forms are to be considered. They will finally cripple you if it reaches chronic states of OCD. If it has already reached difficult proportions, you may need to go on medication and the counselor will advise you so.

lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. TSH 139 mU/L is too high, suggesting totally uncontrolled hypothyroidism. Present dose of 100 mcg thyroxine is totally inadequate. It has to be increased by 50 mcg per day, then check TSH after 6 weeks to see if the level has come down. Ideally TSH should be maintained around 3 to 4 mU/L for being free from all the symptoms. Further if you are considering of pregnancy, then TSH has to be around 2 mU/L. Otherwise ovulation and menstrual cycle will not be proper. Thanks.

Dear friend, it is not possible to increase size or thickness in a safe and effective manner. Please understand this and dont waste money on fake products and tall claims. Your best chance is by eating nutritious food, plenty of water and good sleep. In any case, the size of your penis is adequate and you will not have any problem pleasuring your partner.

Causes and treatment of Female Pattern Hair Loss

Hello everyone, I am Doctor Swapnil Sanghavi and I am a practicing dermatologist, hospitologist, and dermato-surgeon.  I practice in Kanchavli and Muravli. As male pattern hair loss is more commonly seen in males there is a similar condition called female pattern hair loss which is seen in females. Here females start losing their hair mainly in the vertex area that is the central part of the scalp, the parting is more evident; the scalp is more visible in this condition and there is excessive hair loss. So, this is mainly because of hormonal imbalances and is more commonly seen in those who have irregular menstrual periods or facial hair growth.

So these are mainly prone to a condition called as PCOD, Polycystic Ovarian disease where there is a hormonal imbalance in the body. So, the treatment for this condition mainly includes correcting any hormonal imbalances if it is very severe and it includes minoxidil solution to be applied and a hair supplement which contains biotin. The effect usually starts appearing after around 2-3 months and maximum effect is seen around 6 months as also seen in male pattern hair loss. And along with that, it requires correction of any iron deficiencies, low hemoglobin and any thyroid disorders which also play a very important role in hair loss in females.
This is quite a common condition in females and it affects around 20-30% percent of females in the country.  As the hemoglobin levels of the females of our country is usually very low, it is more severe in our country. However, the treatment is quite satisfactory and well-initiated early it gives quite a reasonable coverage back. And it gives a good response. So this is something in short about female pattern hair loss.

KEGEL EXERCISES
Kegel exercises are designed to strengthen the pelvic floor muscles. These
muscles support the bladder and bowel openings in both men and women.
Strengthening the muscles of the pelvic floor can aid in preventing leakage of
urine or feces with coughing, sneezing, lifting, and other stressful movements.
Other benefits of kegels include enhanced sexual function, conditioned muscles
to make childbirth easier, decrease and/or prevent prolapse of pelvic organs,
and improve the ability to pass stool.

Who should do Kegel Exercises?
? Women and men with urinary and /or bowel incontinence
? Women and men who have demonstrated weakening of the pelvic floor
? Pregnant women or women who have previously had children
? Middle aged and older women
What you need to know about Kegel Exercises
The success of Kegel exercises depends on the use of proper technique as well
as compliance to a regular exercise program. When doing the exercises, it is
important to identify the correct muscles of the pelvic floor. At first, most
people contract the abdominal or thigh muscles while neglecting the pelvic
floor muscles. This may actually worsen pelvic floor tone and incontinence.
Kegels may be done as a part of biofeedback, when some patients require
assistance. Biofeedback consists of placing a sensor on the abdomen and
around the anal area, which measure the contraction of the pelvic floor
muscles. Occasionally, an electrode may be placed in the vagina in women, or
in the rectum in men.

Three Steps to an Effective Kegel
? Learn to tighten the muscles around the vaginal/anal area
? Contract the vaginal and rectal muscles. Note that when you perform
steps 1 and 2 correctly, you should also feel the muscles around the anus
tighten slightly. This is normal, but do not consciously try to tighten
those muscles.
? In a quiet, relaxed setting with no distractions, practice your Kegels and
determine how long you can hold your contraction and how many you
can do before becoming fatigued. Do not do more than 5-10 reps at time
with a 3-5 second hold.

Detailed Instructions on how to do Kegels:
Step #1: The urethra?The Functional Stop Test
After partially emptying your bladder, stop your urine flow in a slow controlled
manner, paying attention to how it feels.
Note: Stopping and starting the urine repeatedly as an exercise can be harmful
and should not be done. Holding your urine can contribute to bladder
infection, causing damage to normal urinary reflexes. The Functional Stop Test
is useful for assessing what it feels like to gradually stop urine flow, and should
not be done more than once per urination.
Step #2: The vagina and rectum as your window to the pelvic floor
For this step, you will internally assess the ability to squeeze and elevate the
muscles around the opening of the vagina or rectum, while lying on your back.
This is accomplished by inserting one finger into the vaginal or rectal opening
while you try to lift and squeeze with the muscles. Pay attention to how this feels.
Step #3: Putting it all together
Begin practicing while lying on your back with your knees bent, or lying back
with pillows under your head and shoulders. When your knees are bent you
should have pillows under them so that the muscles around the hips and
buttocks can relax. In this position, you can practice the actual Kegel, which
involves lifting and tightening the pelvic floor all at one time. This will be a
combination of what you felt when you gradually stopped urine flow, with the
feeling squeezing and elevating the muscles around the vaginal or rectal area.

How long and how many?
When you are first starting out, it is common to find that you can only hold a
Kegel for 3-6 seconds, and that performing 3-6 repetitions causes muscle
fatigue. When this happens, you are usually performing the exercise correctly.
If you find you can hold it for much longer right away, recheck your technique.
For patients with incontinence or pelvic floor weakness, it is important to
concentrate on correctly performing the technique and gradually improving the
muscle quality and tone, even though you may be weak first starting out.
Making Kegels a part of your life
After you have become experienced in performing these exercises, you will
want to do them as follows:
? A series of strong, steady squeezes for 8-10 seconds each ? Try to do 8-10 at a time
? For most people, 30 repetitions per day are adequate.
As they get easier, you will find you can do them while sitting or standing, for
example, you can do them while driving, working on the computer, or waiting in
long lines.
Please note that you may not see any noticeable change in bowel / bladder
control for a while. In some cases it may be many months.

Hi lybrate-user Being overweight or obese is a gateway to developing dreadful diseases including type-2 diabetes, heart disease, and some types of cancer. We all know a simple answer to this: weight loss. Weight loss is a healthy living choice in which you consistently maintain eating a balanced, nutritious, detox diet, and be physically active. Healthy Diet plan A weight loss diet is not a fad diet or a crash diet. A weight loss diet is also not a diet that leads you to stress, and increases your chances of binge eating. It is a diet that amply minimizes your bad fat intake, supplies you with good energy to get you through the day, and which adds immensely positively to your body health. What makes for a weight loss, detox diet? For starters, you will need to say goodbye to all debilitating sugar food. It means omitting out from your diet: soft drinks, chocolates, ice-creams, jams, sauces and sugar-laden pastries. As you begin to get past the sugar diet, your body will begin understanding how to reduce weight fast. Next, you will need to incorporate the following for a healthy detox diet: 1. Eating 3-4 cups of assorted vegetables daily. 2. Replacing white bread with whole wheat bread. White flour food items like pizza, pasta, pastries or naan shouldn’t be a part of your diet. Note on Exercise A healthy diet planis essential for weight loss but so is exercising your body. Exercises catalyze your efforts in losing weight. Among different forms of exercises, walking is the easiest because it comes naturally to us, is gentle on the joints, and accounts for a non-jerky way of improving metabolism. A regular thirty minute walk can give you the benefits of an aerobic exercise. Start walking at a comfortable pace, with sufficient speed as to give you the aerobic benefits and boost in metabolism.
