The word depressed is a common everyday word. Dear lybrate user. A) take 10-10ml of ginger juice and honey before meal. B) take 30 ml of divya shwasari pravahi (patangali ayurveda) along with 30 ml of water after meals. C) eat 5 gm of black cumin seeds along with 5 gm of jiggery after meals d) take 30 ml of aloe vera juice and 30 ml of lukewarm water at night before sleep. Do all these things for 15 days. It gives you good result. Reply to me for further suggestions. Thanks.

I am 45years female. I am having cough from last 2yr. Its is allergic cough due to seasonal change I am having started coughing. Please tell me what to do.

The coughs due to change in season or in specific season may be due to allergies, most commonly due to pollen allergens in air in specific season. To confirm the exact cause of allergies you may undergo allergy testing (skin prick tests) and meanwhile can also use anti-allergy drugs (antihistamines) after consulting a doctor. If you also get symptoms of breathing difficulty and musical sounds while breathing from the chest along with cough you might be said to have allergic airways involvement also, which has also to be confirmed by visit to a chest physician.

Yes, protein is really important but it should be taken as diet and not supplements. Meal # 1 (Breakfast) 4 hard-boiled egg whites. 1 Egg white omelet in olive oil. 2 slices of brown bread. 1 serving (30 gms) of plain oatmeal with skim milk (I prefer add 10 Almonds and 20 grams Walnuts and few raisins for taste). Meal # 2 (Snack) 1 serving of broccoli. 3 hard-boiled eggs whites. Meal # 3 (Lunch) Half tandoori chicken. 1 roti. 1 cup of mixed vegetables (Specially cucumber). 1 apple. Meal # 4 (Post workout meal) 1 Banana with whey protein shake. Meal #5 (Dinner) 2 large cups of vegetables and fruits (Including cucumber, watermelon and papaya). ½ cup spinach. 5-6 berries such as strawberries.

Please do not do all the exercises - you are not professional. The main exercise is push-ups and squats/warm up - just concentrate on this very simple and effective exercises and you will notice change in a month. Push-ups - 20/25/30 (times) - in three stages. Squat - 20/25/30 (times) - in three stages. Bench-press with the weigh you can bear - that to 15/20/25 (times). Get back to me in 4 weeks for sure. Also take milk 2 liters and 2 dozen banana daily/4 eggs/450 gms chicken daily.

- sciatica is only symptom of condition .your mother might be having disc degneration with low back pain. - apply hot water fermentation. Precautions- - avoid forward bending of spine. Heavy weight lifting. - use of firm mattresses. - muscle weakness must be also there. Kindly fix appointment with physio for proper assesment and treatment. - do not do any exercises without physio consultation as it may aggrevate her pain.

Hello doctor, again same thing happening with me as last time. My period is due. I have to get my periods on 4 may. V had our intercourse on 16 April nd alternative days till may 1 nd last month I got on 4 April. Last month I got my periods delay for 12 days. Nd taken test it was negative. Nd this tym also not got my periods. My periods usually 30 to 33 days. Cycle. So please suggest me till how many days I have to wait for my periods. Nd take pregnancy test. My weight is 61 kg. Hypothyroid may be the cause for delay in menses. If you have doubt of pregnancy perform your pregnancy test in 4 to 5 days of missed period. As it shows more accuracy. Today is 12, you can still perform, if negative wait for a week to appear menses normally. And if this irregularity remains persistent then get your ultrasonography done for pcod.

Hi lybrate-user. If you got your tooth fracture while eating then this might be due to cavity that made your tooth brittle. So go for dental checkup immediately. Your dentist ll ask you for restoration (filling) or rct depending upon the caries level.(most probably it could be rct).

Hi dear lemon water produces cold in body, so it is of use in summer season. It cleans blood. -u can use lemon -1/4 --1/2--1 piece + glass of fresh water in summer or cold water + salt to taste take it empty stomach early morning you can use it more than once, a day as per your choice. -in winter season-- make its restricted use, only in luke warm water. --too much use of lemon is not good for males, as it can make you sexually weaker. -do not heavy water -take only fresh clean, healthy water in any city -ganga jal--properly cleaned/ sterilzed-- may be the best water in world or even water from hills near bokaro city--is also very very healthy and rejuvenating - some use of lemon helps in avoiding stone formation but once hard stones are noticed after ultrascan reports, it can't dissolve them out

Avoid Squatting- Quadriceps Exercises- Lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core Strengthening Exercise- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams Stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Make up mind and relax by doing meditation and yoga If you feel depressed, it's best to do something about it — depression doesn't just go away on its own. In addition to getting help from a doctor or therapist, here are 5 things you can do to feel better. And if these are not useful you need antidepressants 1. Exercise. Take a 15- to 30-minute brisk walk every day — or dance, jog, or bike if you prefer. People who are depressed may not feel much like being active. In addition to getting aerobic exercise, some yoga poses can help relieve feelings of depression. Two other aspects of yoga — breathing exercises and meditation — can also help people with depression feel better. 2. Nurture yourself with good nutrition. Depression can affect appetite. One person may not feel like eating at all, but another might overeat.. Proper nutrition can influence a person's mood and energy. So eat plenty of fruits and vegetables and get regular meals (even if you don't feel hungry, try to eat something light, like a piece of fruit, to keep you going). 3. Identify troubles, but don't dwell on them. Try to identify any situations that have contributed to your depression. When you know what's got you feeling blue and why, talk about it with a caring friend. Talking is a way to release the feelings and to receive some understanding. 4. Express yourself. Hi, lybrate-user, lasting of bleeding p/v for 15 days is usually not due to pcod. If you are married, chances of pelvic infection or inflammation are more, sometimes deficiency of vitamins and trace elements also lead to longer duration of bleeding p/v. Last, but not least is hormonal disturbances and /or diseaces of uterus and ovaries may cause it. Therefor consulting a doctor and getting treated is advisable.

There is nothing like 'Fat Cutter' These are all fake medicines and you can avoid spending money and time over such ventures. When you go to gym try to spend 40 minutes only on Cardio equipment like Treadmill / Crosstrainer / Cycle. That is where max weight loss will take place. - Add more Fruits /Salads/Proteins to your diet. - Double your water intake. One glass every hour. - Cut down Oils/Sugar/Maida/Ghee from your diet. - Cut down Puris/Parathas/Pizzas/Burgers/Fried Rice. - Eat slowly and mindfully. Take 1600 calorie diet daily. - Reduce portion size. Take small bits of food in your plate. - Reduce socialising/company of people who are addicted to junk food and overeating. - Love yourself and respect your body.
