Dark underarms are generally caused by sweating, improper cleaning, dead skin cells, and friction caused as a result of different qualities of clothes. In some people dark underarms could be due to the alcohol content in the deodorants or the shaving products that they use. Another common cause of dark underarms is plucking and shaving. Every time you pluck or shave it causes micro-abrasions. These wounds on healing cause darkening of the skin. Tips to help you whiten your underarms in a natural manner: - scrubbing your armpits with an exfoliating scrub of your choice for about five minutes daily is the first step to whiten your dark underarms. - aloe vera gel when rubbed over the underarms in a similar manner also has the same effect as cleansing them. - raw grated potato juice helps bleach your skin and whiten your underarms naturally. - cucumber juice also has the same effect. - regularly rub a slice of lemon over your underarms and see the difference. - also, once you are done with your shower, you could take some baking powder and rub it onto your underarms. - another tip of for whitening dark underarms naturally is using a paste made using one tablespoon curd, one teaspoon milk (natural), and one teaspoon gram flour. Add a little turmeric powder to this paste and liberally apply on your armpits. Wash it completely once it dries off. - mixture made from sandalwood powder and rose water can work wonders and help whiten your underarms. - another mixture that can help is lime juice and coconut oil in equal proportions sprinkled with a dash of turmeric powder. Apply this to your underarms and rinse in about 20 minutes or so. If you are wondering how to whiten your underarms overnight try waxing. 7 Tips for a Healthy Heart

If you are concerned about your heart’s health, it is important for you to make some dietary modifications. Simple changes in your everyday diet may offer benefits, which help in preventing future heart problems. If you suffer from high blood pressure or high cholesterol or have atrial fibrillation.

Here are some tips regarding the best diet for protecting your heart:

  1. Believe in the food hype: Having healthy meals is certainly beneficial and makes a big difference to your heart health. Consuming meals which contain vegetables, grains, low fat dairy and lean meat will allow you to live a longer and healthier life.
  2. Avoid crash diets: A crash diet may be effective, if you want to fit in a dress within one month. However, for improving your heart health, undertaking different fad diets is not useful. Meals in which a certain type of nutrients such as carbohydrates or fats are ruled out are not beneficial as well. You should have a sensible approach towards your diet and focus on food products such as vegetables, whole grains and lean meat.
  3. Do not overeat: Overeating will lead to weight gain and commonly, many people get heart attack after taking a big meal.
  4. Eat less salt: You should consume less amount of salt in your diet and do not eat more than one teaspoon of salt a day. Avoid any food item which contains high amounts of sodium. Salt is responsible for increasing blood pressure.
  5. Limit your intake of alcohol and caffeine: In case you suffer from atrial fibrillation, you should avoid caffeine and any other stimulant as they tend to trigger the symptoms. You must drink moderately as consuming more than one drink a day increases your risks of having heart problems.
  6. Choose meat wisely: You should avoid red meat, which contains large amount of saturated fats as these are not good for the heart. You should choose the leanest cuts of meats and trim all fat from it. You should opt for cuts such as flank, rump roast, tenderloin and sirloin. Pork tenderloin, chicken and turkey breast are other alternatives.
  7. Add fish to your diet: Fish is essential for improving your heart health. Try to avoid having deep fried fish and choose grilled fish or roasted fish, which are rich in Omega-3 fatty acids. Consume fishes like tuna, salmon, trout and sardines.

You should also add whole grains to your diet. They are effective in controlling blood sugar and lower the chances of diabetes. Hence, the risks of heart diseases are less if you do not have diabetes. Dear lybrate user, pimples/ acne vulgaris is a chronic inflammatory skin disease which develops due to blocking of the hair follicles in skin. These blockages occur due to 4 abnormal processes: 1) excess sebum production due to androgens 2) excessive deposition of the protein keratin leading to comedone formation 3) infection of propionibacterium acnes (p. Acnes) bacteria on the hair follicles 4) local release of pro-inflammatory chemicals in the skin. Neither can you stop the overproduction of androgen or keratin protein nor can you stop the release of pro-inflammatory chemicals because all these processes takes place internally in your skin. However you can stop the accumulation of p. Acnes bacteria on your skin by preventing your skin from getting oily. Always keep a handkerchief with you whenever you go outside. You should wipe off the slightest amount of sweat from your face as soon as you perspire on entering your room from outside wash your face with an oil-free, non-moisturizing face wash. Take a low carbohydrate diet. Do some exercise daily. Drink a lots of water to avoid constipation. Avoid pricking the pimples or popping the sebum as it may lead to black pigmentation & permanent scar formation. You can also take homoeopathic calcarea phos 200, 5 drops, thrice daily, in empty stomach also you can apply homoeopathic mother tincture berberis aquifolium q on the dark spots on your skin which are produced after the resolution of the pimples.

Hi make a paste of neem leaves and apply on the targeted pimples. If you cannot get fresh neem leaves, try to get some dried bottled neem leaves, steep for 10 minutes in warm water and use as a paste. Apply pranacharya face glow on your face for 15 minutes then wash it with warm water.

Hello start physiotherapy treatment and learn posture care/ spine exercise. Meanwhile take few precautions. 1) take hot water fomentation for 20 min. At every 3hrs. To understand what you are studying, you must be able to be attentive or concentrate. Concentration is possible when you are interested in that subject. Creative way of learning can help you concentrate and understand easily. When you are able to understand and concentrate, it is stored within your brain. If you read more and more it will be store in long term memory. Third part is retrieval. Whenever you want to retrive what you learned and stored, your brain gets the request, searches the database and retrieves the information for you. It's better to start a medication for high cholesterol levels and few tips on diet say no to maida items like toast, khaari ,naan ,white bread. Can drink tea but without sugar say no to Buffalo milk and can drink cows milk can eat brown bread can eat sprout's can eat green vegetables, can eat chappati ,bajra ka rotla can eat one katori of rice twice a day with dal to avoid farsan food items can eat fruits say no to coconut water.

Hi lybrate-userif your belly is lowering your self-confidence and giving you sleepless nights, here are the tips to give you flatter and fitter tummy. 1. Add fiber to your diet constipation distends your belly, add veggies and fruits to your daily diet to relieve you of constipation, reduce intakes of refined cereals like maida, noodles, pasta and whole grains instead add dalia and oats. This would relieve you of constipation and bloat to give you a flat tummy. 2. Decrease sodium intake sodium retains water in the body and hence your belly swells up, reduce intake of junk food as it contains a lot of sodium. Stop adding extra salt to dishes, also packaged and processed food contains a lot of salts so better avoid it. 3. Increase potassium foods rich in potassium help you get rid of balancing sodium, fruits are very good source of potassium, adding them to their daily diet not only provides this nutrient but also increase the fiber content of your daily intake 4. My dad was having nerve blockage. He was on catheter. So he had cervical laminectomy four months ago. Catheter got removed. He is also on antidepressants and antianxiety from 3 months. Penis size will never shrink due to psychiatric reasons or medications, its never supply may have dimished to show some atrophy could have occured, or it could be his imagination. Consult and get him treated in liasion with a urologist and psychiatrist. All the best.

Soak 4-5 almonds in milk overnight. In the morning make a paste of them and apply it on your face and rinse it off after an hour or two. You will definitely feel the glow on your face in less then 15 days.

Have a glass of warm milk 30 mins before bedtime. Include salad in lunch & dinner. Have 2-3 whole fruits daily (papaya/ guava/ apple). Include ladies finger (bhindi), leafy vegetables (saag) & sprouts in your diet as often as possible. Exercise regularly for at least 30 minutes. Replace refined grains like white rice, maida, white bread, noodles, biscuits with brown rice, atta, dalia, suji, jowar, bajra, atta bread. Have an early dinner & sleep early.
