I am suffering from ankylosis spondylitis and today I was having severe pain in my neck just behind the ears. Why is this happening to me. My entire previous generation didn't had this incurable disease. Why me? What did I do wrong? Why am I suffering so much. I used to go to the gym every day but for the past 1 and half years my whole life has been changed just because of this chronic disease. Oh my God what should I do. I can't tolerate this anymore. I have been consuming sazo 1000 for the past 8 months and everything was quite normal (i. E reduced pain) but since I left my medications the pain has started again. Do I need to consume painkillers for my entire life. Am I going to be normal again. I don't know what to do? Is there anyone who can help me. I would really really appreciate it. Thanks.

lybrate-user AS is arthritis where long term inflammation of the joint. The cause of ankylospondylosis is unknown. It is believed to be combination of hereditary and environmental factors. More than 90 % of those affected have specific human leucocyte antigen known as HLA B 27. Homeopathy can cure this case or can palliate the condition to greater extent. It should be treated by experienced homeopath who take details of the case and select proper medicines and give the doses in judicious manner. If you have any difficult, you can ask me through Lybrate.

Hi Mr. lybrate-user Your heel pain is definitely because of your low vitamin d levels you need to take vitamin d supplementation Vit d (cap Lumia) 60,000 IU for three days then once a week for 3 months Also you are diabetic and need to start diabetes medication you should meet an endocrinologist and also get your HBA1C levels checked.

Brachial plexus injuries are a complicated subject and treatment depends upon a very accurate assessment of muscle charting of entire upper limb along with sensory charting as well. Please enclose that and your previous papers and also tell me what is the range of movements of joints of affected upper limb, whether they are stiff or supple? do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance.

Dear lybrate user, the pain & burning in leg could be associated with neuropathy of nerve distributed at legs. When there is neuropathy no pain medication will help, rather drugs specific to reduce neuropathic pain & burning will help, these medication can only be prescribed after thorough clinical evaluation. The pain and numbness can also be associated with tb drug specifically isoniazid. One more thing where she is having tb, spine or somewhere else. Kindly consult neurologist or interventional pain specialist for management of pain with burning sensation or consult tb physician for possibility of alteration in tb drug (inh. Regards.

Quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Hamartoma, site not mention found in my report after my surgery of infected cyst removal and its on my knee. What I have to do now?

DHMS (Diploma in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery)
Homeopath, Ludhiana
A knee hematoma is caused due to the accumulation of blood under the skin of the knee, due to trauma or injury to the blood vessel while performing surgery usually, a hematoma is considered to be a good thing as this prevents further bleeding. Even though the severity of the hematoma depends on its location, usually it disappears within few days without any treatment and management includes 1. Rest, ice, compression, and elevation are the common treatments for minor hematomas. 2. Hematomas on knee, restrict the movement of the knee joint, so it is important to take adequate rest and to avoid putting any strain on the joint. Jogging, running, and strenuous exercises should be avoided completely. 3. Icing the hematoma on the knee for about fifteen minutes, three to four times a day, can help to control swelling. Hot compresses using a hot water bottle or heating pad can speed up the recovery process. Heat promotes blood circulation and healing. 4. Applying turmeric powder on the hematoma helps to prevent secondary infection.-------- 5. Elevating the body above the heart helps to hasten the healing process as the accumulated blood is drained through lymphatic system due to gravity. If the knee hematoma is large, it will contain more blood and will take long time to disappear. So myself being a homoeopath suggest you totake below given homoeopathic mediccines foreasy disolving of hematoma in quick time arnica montana q (dr reckeweg) drink 10 drop in 20 ml fressh water 3 times daily for 1-2 months depending upon size and recovery of hematoma.

After injury pain of osteoarthritis can increase that is called as acute-on-chronic osteoarthritis, with period of rest and medicines it should subside. For chronic problem you can take cartilage protecting agents that can be prescribed by Orthopaedic surgeon. If arthritis in your knee joint is in advanced stage, surgery is an option.
