Kindly consult a dentist in person for further suggestion. We need more investigations to decide upon treatment. You may need artificial enamel filling or fixed, permanent (implants or bridges) or removable type of tooth replacement procedures. You may consult me in person too. Dental tips: - visit a dentist every six months. Gargle your mouth thoroughly after every meal. Scrub gently to clean your tongue with a tongue cleaner. Floss all your teeth inter dentally & brush twice daily, morning & night, up & down short vertical strokes, with ultra-soft bristles, indicator brush.

Be a Knight in Smiling Armour With a Pre-Wedding Dental Visit!

Why a dental visit before your wedding day is essential

It's your wedding clothes trial and after multiple designers visits, a blur of fabrics and embroideries, finally you face the mirror looking like a charming prince! you can't get your eyes off yourself the smart, handsome, be jeweled and crowned silhouette you get closer to your reflection and you smile to yourself.

To your utter dismay-staring back at you is a gaping black hole in your yellow looking teeth- a stark contrast against your beautiful pearl white sherwani!

Among things that you don't know or care about in this wedding planning charade, one thing you do know for sure is that while the bride will outshine you, the pictures will last forever, and a yellow smile with a black blemish on a white sherwani is not the kind of shame you're willing to live through!

So if you're a groom-to-be your trial date shouldn't be the day you realize your smile must live up to the bright and momentous occasion that you're preparing for!

While the metrosexual man of today has even his pre-wedding skin treatments lined up, for the more macho or masculine ones at least getting their smile right can make a huge difference!

So here's a quick checklist to know if you qualify for dental treatment and if you should visit before your wedding day

Are you happy with your smile?
Are your teeth crowded?

Are your teeth yellow or dull?
Can you see any brown or black stains on your teeth?

Dental treatment:
A dental visit according to popular misconception is no unpleasant ordeal!

With the latest technology drill free cavities, bladeless surgeries, and painless extractions have become a reality.

So whatever be your woe, a variety of treatment solutions can be planned and customised to transforming your smile if you're well in time.

Having a dental partner through it all works best for most people and who better than your future life partner to get you through an intimate experience like your appointment.

Hello Good Evening Doctors My Mother has been facing the problem of Blister in her mouth for last 5 years. please tell me the solution. Thanks.

BDS, Non-Resident J.R. in Dept. of Orthodontics, Certified oral implantologist, Advanced Aesthetics, Digital Smile Designer
Dentist, Jammu
Does the ulcer/blister is in the mouth for the last 5 years or it comes and goes. If the blister is there for the past 5 years, you should get a biopsy done of the lesion and get a histopathology report from the laboratory. Also if the ulcer comes and goes, it might be due to nutritional deficiency or dehydration or sharp edges inside the mouth. Please get it evaluated with a dentist.

Stool is dark because of iron supplements given to you. Iron is usually given in case the patient is anaemic, in other words with less HB. If this is the case keep having. The stool colour will come to normal once you stop iron supplements i.e. Ferrous sulphate. Foilic acid is for ulcers.

Yes clicking sounds while opening and closing jaw may be due to temporomandibular joint displacement. Give rest to your jaws, eat soft food, give hot compress over the jaw and take anti inflammatory medication to reduce pain and inflammation. Consult a dentist to get yourself examined for the same. Do not delay as it can cause further damage.

The condition is called OSMF and can be treated Chairside by using lasers. Also there are other modalities like intralesional injections available. But basically you will have to discontinue with the habbit first of eating ghutka.
