Hi. As height can be gained till 21yrs. of age in males and 18yrs. in females, so you do have 3yrs. more to grow further! Start taking homoeopathic medicines which are safe to take without any side-effects - Bakson's Hite-Aid and Five Phos. - both thrice daily and Thuja 1M/ one dose once a week - take them for 1 month only. Management: Take milk and milk products which contains more calcium. More of protein (for cell multiplication) like pulses, legumes, sprouts, nuts, flaxseeds, non-veg, eggs, etc. Also, don't forget to take green vegetables, yellow veggies and fruits, seasonal fruits, salads, etc. Do skip rope daily, initially 10-20 times later gradually and slowly increase the frequency as per your capacity. Do get indulge in stretch exercises, and sports like basketball, volleyball. Last but not least, do take enough of rest and sleep (which helps in repairing of cells and cell rejuvenation). Get back to me after a month for further guidance.

Hello Lybrate user Back Pain in adults have several causes among those most common is sedentary lifestyle and improper posture. It plays significant role. Lack of physical workouts or less activity like cycling, walking,swimming, running, etc. Leads muscle weakness because of no activity cause improper circulation as well as decrease muscle action thus reduce the power/strength of muscle. Another major cause affecting the adults is lack of healthy high fiber diet ,Fresh fruits, water intake, sunlight etc. My advice is take hot pack and once pain reduce start few back Ms. strechting exercises under supervision of well experienced physiotherapist only.

To increase digestion power you can follow these methods : • Take one teaspoon of ajwain seeds ( carom )and 1/2 teaspoon of jeera grind it and make powder of it add 1/3 rd of teaspoon of this in your food you eat . • Take pudina ( mint) and coriander leaves grind it and eat one teaspoon of it daily 2 times in a day . You can make chutney of it . Mint and corriander has enzymes that increase your digestion . • Eat one fruit before one hour of taking meal . Eat an apple daily . • Do running and jogging exercise daily . Do pavanmuktasan daily for 5 minutes under the supervision of yoga expert. • Eat healthy food and avoid fast food , spicy food , excessive consumption of tea , coffee and alcohol .

Hi I want to know one thing and that is I have one family member who is 18 years old and does not have any friend and he does not like to talk with anyone occasionally, he also feels like he is in depression, he does not went outside from his house and he stays at his house almost whole day so sometimes he also takes the snaps of bad things etc. He also do takes the snaps of his house labours and the snaps of the roads. I don't think it is lybrate-user simple as that. Due to his age, it is very likely that there is some connection to events in his childhood or genes that has to be investigated. This can be ideally processed by a counselor and if that person thinks that he needs medical help then s/he may recommend a doctor. Then he would need to cooperate with both therapies for the best results. Anyway, in life we must follow these three important rules: Always Be responsible with everything we say and do; Always Be respectful with everything we say and do; and always be function with what we do. He is defaulting in all three.

I am a diabetic patient. My age is 68 years male. Since last several years I was having sugar between 150 to 180 PP. But since last two months, it has suddenly increased to between 260 t0 280. I am taking same medicine regularly since last several years as prescribed by doctor. I am afraid that medicine is not having any effect. Whether I should start insulin injection for some time. Dear, you can get a healthy muscular body by following methods: - 1. To gain weight, your digestion should work properly for proper digestion - take 10 gms powder of carom seeds (ajwain, 10 gm powder of cumin (jeera), 10 gm of rock salt. Mix them well and take 1/2 teaspoon (3-5 gm) of mixture daily after meal. 2. Take a diet rich with proteins and fats. You should take high calorie food that increase your muscle mass and induce growth in bones. Follow the diet chart in your daily life to fastly gain weight * in morning, take a glass of milk added with 2 teaspoons of protein powder with breakfast. * in lunch time, take 1 bowl of curd or 100 gm of cheese, a bowl of vegetable, with chapattis. * in evening, take 1 glass of milk (300 ml) with 2 bananas. * in night, take a bowl of careals (daal, a bowl of salad with chapattis. 3. In morning, get up early and take awalk for 10-15 minutes and exercise light weight exercises for at least 30 minutes at home or gym. 4. For proper weight, proper sleep is very important. So you should sleep for 6-8 hours daily. 5. Avoid smoking & alcohol drinkg completely. 6. Hello According to your height and weight your BMI is normal 19.4 but if you increase your weight approximately 10 kg your BMI should become 22.5 means it's good BMI according to your height and weight. Some weight gain tips :- 1) Add lots of energy and protein to your daily meals. 2) Don't drink water before meals. 3) Don't skip meals especially breakfast. 4) Take at least 6 to 7 meals in the day. 5) Use big plates. 6) Take fresh fruits and vegetables. 7) Do some exercise. 8) Take milk and milk products. 9) Maintain your daily meals timing. 10) Take restful sleep. Dear Lybrateuser, - At your age your pain could be due to acidity, anxiety or sedentary habit - avoid fried, spicy & junk food - chew your food well, do not skip meals, have meals on time, have 4-5 small meals rather than three large meals, have dinner 2-3 hrs before bedtime - have syrup gelusil, 2 teaspoonful three times a day half an hour after meals - have 7-8 glasses of water for proper digestion - do regular exercise including yoga & deep breathing for 5-10 min in the morning to keep your body & mind fit.

Looking at your various details it appears you a very control of blood sugar and even hba1c is also excellent. I am sure your blood pressure also must be in check. I do not see any reason to add any further medications.

Hello change in colour of hair, hair fall, dry brittle hair are all signs of mineral deficiency in hair. Oiling does help in conditioning the scalp. It is important to use oil 3 /week and wash it 3/week. But when the person has dandruff then he should wash daily with shampoo. Dandruff is a generalised term but under this heading there are many other disorders. It can be psoriasis, dermatitis, seborrheic dermatitis, pityriasis amentecia etc. It is important to check the scalp for thinning of hair and dandruff. Consult trichologist.
