She completed her diploma in gynecology and obstetrics from Maulana Azad Medical College situated in New Delhi. Dr. Shobha Gupta is also a professional member of institutions like Federation of Obstetric and Gynecological Societies of India (FOGSI), the Indian Medical Association (IMA) the Medical Council of India (MCI) and the Delhi Medical Council. She has specialized in IVF (in vitro fertilization) as well.
