In between my rt. Canine tooth and next there occurred a tunnel like gap inside my gum up to the deep inside. I feel always an irritating sensation. I was prescribed trypsin with bromelain & rutoside trihydrate tablets by my dentist, but I am not fully cured. How can I get rid of this problem?

MDS
Dentist, Lucknow
Dear, It would be wise to get the tunnel like gap restored to the shape tooth otherwise the space serves as an area of food lodgement and recurrent infection.

Hello, bleeding gums could be because of deposits on your teeth or food lodged in your teeth. Visit a dentist get your scaling and polishing done. For properly aligned teeth you can go for Orthodontic treatment, you need to consult to an Orthodontist for that. Brush twice daily, maintain proper brushing technique, floss regularly and rinse after every meal.

MDS - Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery
Dentist,
We need more investigations with clinical examination to decide upon treatment. You may need replacement with removable or fixed (bridges & implants) type of teeth. Implants are not recommended in uncontrolled diabetes. Cost varies with dentist. Dental tips: - visit a dentist every six months for cleaning and a thorough dental check-up. Limit sugary food to avoid tooth decay. Gargle your mouth thoroughly after every meal. Scrub gently to clean your tongue with a tongue cleaner. Floss all your teeth inter dentally & brush twice daily, morning & night, up & down short vertical strokes, with ultra-soft bristles, indicator brush. Tooth brush to be changed every 2 months.

Saving a fallen tooth can be useful. Try to keep it in place while you seek immediate medical attention. If that is not the case, try wrapping the tooth in a piece of plastic or soaking it into milk and call for immediate dental service.

For healthier teeth, flossing daily in a sawing motion is highly recommended. Take the floss to the point where the teeth meet the gums.

Infection and poor oral hygiene results in inflammation and thus may produce cytosine and prostaglandin hormones making it difficult to become fertile and even miscarriages occur. It is better to go for scaling and root planing with medications under dentist supervision.

Get scaling done. Plaque or tarter deposition between gums and teeth also causes bad breath or halitosis. If symptoms persist after scaling consult your doctor for proper investigation to rule out the cause of halitosis. Dry mouth, abcess in tooth, gum disease, food impaction between teeth, some infections like sinusitis and lung infection may also cause bad smell. Rinse your mouth with alcohol free mouthwash. Brush regularly two times daily. Floss your tooth to prevent food impaction.

MDS - Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery
Dentist, Chennai
Hi.
I'm near about 20 year old.
My teeth effective from cavity.
It show high sensitivity.
A major cause of tooth sensitivity is root exposure. Kindly consult a dentist in person for further suggestion. We need more investigations (full mouth x-ray) to decide upon treatment. You may need cleaning along with desensitizing procedures and / or artificial enamel filling. Advance procedures can be done with laser too. You may consult me in person. Until then apply a desensitizing paste (sensodyne tooth paste) on the teeth. Wait for 10 to 15 min until you brush your teeth with the same paste. Applying it overnight will be better.
