Hello, I am 26 years old male. When I was 22 and 23, my body was very strong and used to have good looking & strong muscles, and my skin was so fair. But now. My muscles (chest, shoulders, biceps, thighs, triceps, lads, back buttocks) are weak. Im not able do exercise more tym like before, not even 20 push ups continuously. Feeling weak. Hello lybrate-user. Happy that you would follow a diet plan blindly. For a healthier n happier life. Follow a regular diet n exercise. Dieting means eating right. U can start your day with a milk/tea/ coffee along with 2biscuits. Its better to take breakfast as soon as possible. U can hav idli/ chappati/roti anything of your choice. Hav a healthy snacks like sprouts/ salads/ fruits in between your meals. Take more veggies than your main course.in the night hav same as your breakfast. End your day with a fruit n cup of milk. Pls do a blood test for hb level, lipid profile, blood sugar, before procedding into a detailed diet plan. Dear lybrate-user let me clear one doubt that as per ayurveda shali dhanya (rice in grain) is the best rather than other grain. Its never gain weight or cholesterol but term is its more than 2 years older and organic, non-polished. Because as per ayurveda any new grain is guru vipaki (means heavy to digest) and after long period rice get changes its property it becomes laugh vipaki (easy to digest) for your cholesterol trouble start regular early morning exercise & skip all junk foods.

There is in ayurveda mention pinda swed. It is a type of swedan karma [phomentation] but it do some another manner. 1. Boiled a rice in milk then take this rice in one white cloth then tied it properly and warmly it rub on your face every morning for 15 days then stop it and do next month again 2. Apply almond oil on your face and massage for 3-5 min at night. By doing above thing you will get good result.

My neighbour 3-4 month old month puppy licked my leg several times in past month. The puppy was not vaccinated. I don't remember any injury in my leg past month. But I am afraid that there might be minor cuts that go unnoticed. What should I do?

There are two things that we need to worry about 1) any local infection which usually develops immediately after licking and for which you are asymptomatic for now 2) rabies - an animal when bites or licks us and dies within a couple of days with an abnormal behaviour than we can develop the disease rabies and your puppy seems to be very unlikely suffering from it so to summarise I don't feel you have developed any disease due to licking of puppy but it's better to get your self vaccinated yearly with rabipur injection.

High blood sugar makes you prone to infection. Unless you control it, infection will recur. Check urine routine to confirm. Check fasting and pp blood sugar. Change meds if needed.

Fever is not considered medically significant until body temperature is above 100.4 F (38 C). Fever serves as body's natural defences against bacteria and viruses which cannot live at higher temperatures. Also, the body's defence mechanisms seem to work more efficiently at a higher temperature -Fevers of 104 F (40 C) or higher may be dangerous and demand immediate treatments like: -Acetaminophen (dolo-650 mg) twice or thrice can be used to lower a fever . Aspirin should not be used for fever in children/ adolescents or during a viral illness. -Wear loose fitting clothes and don’t overdress. Overdressing can cause temperature to rise further. -Tepid water (85 F [30 C]) baths may help bring down a fever  -The body should be cooled with a wet sponge. -A fever can cause severe dehydration. Drink plenty of fluids.. Have citrus fruits, particularly Vitamin C rich ones like mausami, Amla juice etc.  -Take light and easily digestible home cooked meals like sprouts.avoid outside food -Wash hands frequently with soap and water especially after returning from public places or public transport.  -Further therapy depends on the cause of fever like urinary infection/typhoid or malaria/dengue infection and the accompanying symptoms that need to be investigated and treated accordingly

Dear, you can easily get fitness and health by following simple and very important tips: 1. To get fitness, your digestion should work properly. If you have any disease of digestive system you should treat disease first. For proper digestion - take 10 gms powder of carom seeds (ajwain, 10 gm powder of cumin (jeera), 10 gm of rock salt. Mix them well and take 1/2 teaspoon (3-5 gm) of mixture daily after meal. Or take 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper (kali mirch), 1/ 2 tea spoon of jeera (cumin), 2-3 slice of ginger. Boil it in one glass of water for 2-3 minutes. Drink 5-10 teaspoons (15-20 ml) in morning and evening for strong digestive system. Or you can take amla powder 1 teaspoon with water for strong digestion. 2. Take a diet rich with proteins and fats. In morning, take a glass of milk added with 2 teaspoons of protein powder with breakfast. In lunch time, take 1 bowl of curd or 100 gm of cheese, a bowl of vegetable, with chapattis. In evening, take 1 glass of milk (300 ml) with 2 bananas. In night, take a bowl of careals (daal, a bowl of salad with chapattis. 3. In morning, get up early and take awalk for 10-15 minutes and exercise light weight exercises for at least 30 minutes at home or gym. 4. For proper fitness, proper sleep is very important. So you should sleep for 6-8 hours daily. 5. Avoid soft drinks, western fast food (burgers, french fries, pizza etc. They disturb your digestion. 6. Do meditation daily to calm down your stress level. Do pranayam daily. You can take long and deep breaths atleast for 10 minutes in calm and peaceful environment. I assure you that you definitely get fitness by applying these tips and lifestyle. Be healthy.

Its good that you have cut down on smoking. Alcohol consumption is also quite dangerous in liver disease and may lead to alcoholic fatty liver followed by cirrhosis. Get vaccinated against hepatitis a and b. Take home cooked food and boiled/ro water as they may lead to liver infection.

Dark circles around the eye are to some extent a reflection of your overall health. Take plenty of water, fresh fruits and vegetables. Exercise and meditate. Adequate rest n sleep is equally important. If your hemoglobin in low take treatment for that.

1. Keep yourself hydrated. 2. Get extra rest for some days till you feel more energetic. 3. Avoid watching television for long hours. Indulge in relaxing activities. 4. Avoid stress and too much physical exertion. 5. Take a nutritious diet with more protein items in homemade food like soya, sprouts, dals, paneer, milk, seasonal fruits. 6. Do light physical activity, meditation and yoga. 7. Take one good multivitamin tablet after food for 7 days.

Wow, that is a whole lot of complications for one person, in one lifetime and with no resolution at the end. I am glad that you gave up on the suicide idea, but not for the reasons you mention. You need to first live for yourself and then the others i.E. You daughters and husband will benefit. Your husband?s assessment is not at all justified. There is no such thing. However, you must look at your life and see, is God a significant part of it? I don?t hear that at all. You must turn to God in all these times of good and bad. ?When God is for you, who can be against you, very true and sensible. Please do cultivate your spiritual wellbeing and you will see some wonderful affects in your life. Then you need to take life into your own hands and make things happen too. Perhaps you are not made to be a mom-at-home kind of person. If the kids are old enough, get them some nanny-care and get out into the vast world full of opportunities. You will make good in the field out there with your background. Do also take charge of your wellness: exercise, eat and sleep well, spend time in the sun every day, meet people, do something productive with your time, work at improving your married life, and bring back your hope, love, peace of mind and activate your career. Things do not happen to us, we do things to attract them to us. If you are positive, you will find positive things happen to you. As you think, so are you. Change your thoughts and you will change who you are. It is as simple as that. Your husband will not find labels and accusations to throw at you. If you let things be as they are, it will become overwhelming and everything can be lost. You end your plea rather beautifully and correctly: I want to make myself happy so that I can make my loved ones happy. Now go out there and do it. Keep me posted with all good developments.

For making regular your period these are some instructions given below: • Take proper diet full of nutrition. Eat green leafy vegetables and seasonal fruits and a glass of milk daily. Eat a fruit daily. • Do Not take stress because stress causes imbalance in hormones of female and make your menstrual cycle disturb and make your ovulation disturb. Do some meditation for maintain hormonal balance. • Do jogging and running exercise daily. If you are obese lose some weight this is also a cause of irregular periods. • Do skipping regularly for 2 to 3 minutes daily. • you can take these medicines for regular periods. Syrup Dashmolarishtha or, syrup EVECARE of himalya. 2 tsf daily once in a day after meal but only under the guidance of ayurvedic doctor. • Check out Thyroid hormone level & if your T3, T4, TSH hormone are abnormal then get treatment of it to make your periods regular.
