I am 18 years old and my weight is 44 kgs. I have 15 grey hairs and even increasing now and then. Hair are half white from the root but converts to black later and dry scalp. Despite of applying amla oil for 6 months and I have also been using reetha shikakayi for washing them this problem has continued. I have started taking patanjali treatment from 1 week but this worries me a lot. What could be the reason? what should I do?

Hello, there can be many reasons behind it like mental worries, nutritional deficiency, hereditary and anaemia. *Make a habit of 8-10 glasses of water daily. *Eat healthy and balanced food like pulses, green leafy vegetables, fresh fruits and nuts etc. *Eggs as it is loaded with essential nutrients such as proteins, vitamin b12, iron, zinc and omega 6 fatty acids in large amount. *Add more vitamin rich food to your diet. *Avoid stress and anger. *Cut down the use of hair spray, hair gel. *Take a sound sleep. Take homoeopathic medicine Lycopodium 30 (4 drops in little water) twice a day for 15 days and update. Apply jobarandi hair oil.

Taken endoscopy result is gastritis and reflux esophagitis. I am suffering from last one year and main symptoms is when laying down getting tight ness in chest and stomach. Taken all type of medicine nothing worked out . Please suggested me .now I am feeling like I have lost all my life.

Caused by gastric content into the oesophagus usually after meal could be due to incompetence of lower oesophageal sphincter or reflux from stomach common causes: peptic ulcer, haitus hernia, gastrophegial reflux, indigestion, hyperacidity, anticholinergic, calcium antagnostic, asprin, indocid, steriod, excessive tea, coffee, smoking, alcohol, chillies, spicy foods and pregnancy. Treatment weight reduction, and elevation of head of bed. Avoid strong stimulants of acid secretions like tea, coffee alcohol. Also avoid fats, large meal, citrous juices, alcohol, smoking, chillies and other irritating food as they decrease oesophageal sphincter competence. Homeopathic medicines arsenic album, capsicum, cicuta, colchicum, lycopodium, sulphur are good me.

Hello- hyperthyroidism is always associated with high bmr. >beverages like coffee, green coffee, tea, green tea etc also raises the bmr. So it is not advisable for you to take green coffee.

Please follow the following in respect to your queries: 1. Clean your face twice a day using lukewarm water to dissolve oil. 2. Avoid touching your face with your hands as this germs to your facial skin, making it to breakouts. 3. Ensure that you drink 10-12 glasses of water daily. 4. Avoid fried and spicy food. 5. Include fruits, raw vegetables and fresh vegetable juices in your diet. 6. Avoid harsh skin products. I have lot of problems in stomach. Ie. Gas problem with pain on left side abdomen, weight keep increasing, due to gas problem stomach look like pot belly, motion is not proper, that too gas only. If I press my stomach its paining. Headache, back pain, Joint pains, neck pains etc are there. Please give valuable advice which should cure my problem since its been for years.

Hi lybrate-user Healthy choice of food, proper workout routine can lead to a better you. Starting and following the steps as planned towards the beginning can be hard, but everything gets accustomed with time. Don’t ever overdo with any exercise and do as far as the body permits. Individual predisposition, natural abilities and genes should always be taken into account while implementing an exercise program. A slim person would normally have high metabolism than a not so slim person and can achieve better results working out only 3-4 times a week, 5- 6 times for the latter. We lose water via sweating, urinating and breathing, etc. Thus we lose more water during hot weather, even if you aren’t sweating. Don’t let your body get dehydrated, supply yourself with water and required fluids whenever the body demands. Do not ever skip breakfast as not eating well at the starting of the day can result in being hungry later on. Choose your food well. Snacking by sitting in front of the TV is the easiest way to hamper your diet. Thus, watch out what you eat. Burn up a particular amount of calorie to maintain the balance of your health. Settle for several mini meals than one huge meal during the day, as you tend to over eat while you are very hungry. Protein is the ultimate fill me up food as it’s both satisfying and healthier than carbohydrates or fats. Have more vegetables and fruits. Fill your stomach with more amounts of vegetables than carbohydrates. Include more fiber in your diet which would also help you lower your cholesterol. If previously you used to have one cup of pasta, try replacing it with one cup of vegetable and lesser pasta for consumption. If you are determined to lose weight, take time lose it, drastic reduction in anything is not a healthy option. Get quality sleep. Getting enough sleep may make you feel rested and full and keep you away from unnecessary snacking. Get to know portion sizes. Try to right-size your diet by using a kitchen scale or measuring cups to measure your meals for a week or two. Use smaller plates and glasses to downsize your portion and get satisfied with whatever is available in the plate. Switch your food habits if you understand it’s not quite healthy and nutritious for your body. Opt for salads tossed with pepper and lemon to add flavors to it. Try skipping alcohols and nicotine. As alcohols contain empty calories it gets converted into direct body fat. Celebrate but not with food. If success comes your way then celebration is mandatory. Do celebrate but treat yourself with assets or shopping and not with an enormous pizza or a chocolate sundae. Fill your house with healthy snack Exercise regularly and maintain the consistency. Workout with a companion. Keep a diary of your progress and check your weight at regular intervals.

Best way to reduce fat is exercise and diet control....take pranacharya medohar rasayn twice a day....medohar guggul 2-2 twice a day....and pranacharya slim capsule 1-1 twice a day...avoid junk food...oily food...fermented food..alcohol consumption..sugar....milk products and sweets....take oats and cereals more..and do pranayama early in the morning and walk for atleast 45 minutes a day...and do exercises....dont sleep immediately after taking meal...

First you should follow low calories food for weight loss. * in morning, take 1-2 chapattis with a bowl of cooked green vegetables. You can take a glass of lemon water with it *in lunch you can take a bowl of raw vegetables like carrot, radish, tomatoes, turnip or beetroot. *in evening, you can take a cup of green tea only with some pieces of friuts like apple, pineapple, pear. Avoid taking banana or mango. *in dinner, you can take vegetable soup or a bowl of cooked vegetables. But do not take potato, sweet potatoes. * you can take a cup skimmed milk 4 times a week only during day time. * work out for atleast 1 hour in morning, you can try skipping for 15minutes with a walk of 30 minutes and 5-10 minutes running. Follow these exercises in the morning - * lie down on flat surface, raise your legs without bending your knees, do it for 3-5 times daily * do not eat fastfoods and soft drinks, as they have high calories and the calories deposit in body in the form of weight if not utilised. * you can take medohar guggalu 1 tablet daily for quick weight loss but only under the guidance of ayurveda expert.

I did hard exercise for abs for 3 days but now I feel my stomach is tighten and I also suffer with a problem of phlegm and I feel something is burning under me so what should I do? And I am also a great coffee lover.

Burning seems to be due to acidity and phlegm is due to infection for which antibiotic and other medications may need to bestart after physical examination I am giving you some health tips to avoid acidity 1. Take small frequent meal kindly take 5-6 small meal in whole day 2. Take 6-8 glass of water in a day 4. Moderate physical activity regularly 5. Avoid excessive tea, coffee, avoid food from outside, junk, fried, spicy fatty food 6. Do not postpone breakfast 7. Avoid excess citrus fruit 8. Avoid smoking and alcohol.

Dear lybrate-user, Please ask Sharada to drink lots of water through out the day. She is not overweight, but can improve her digestion by eating fresh food, chewing properly, eating more raw foods, boiled foods. Eating on time and doing a lot of walking as best exercise. Tell he to take castor oil one night to rid body of constipation and gas. Regards.
