Sir I want to ask a question that my eyesight has week.
So please tell me how can I recover my eye sight?
Hello, get your eyes tested from an opthalmologist. Include the following for getting better vision: vitamins a, c, e, and minerals like copper and zinc are essential to eyesight. Get the antioxidants from dark leafy greens, egg yolks, yellow peppers, pumpkin, sweet potatoes, and carrots. Include garlic and onions. Blueberries, grapes as they have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties that can help improve your vision. Dha is a fatty acid found in coldwater fish like salmon, sardines and mackerel. Exercises for strengthening eye muscles: -begin by partially closing your eyes; the lids should only be halfway shut. After holding for 10-15 seconds, close your eyes very slowly. Take a few deep breaths to increase oxygen in the blood. -warm your eyes. Rub your palms together to create heat, and then place them against your eyes for five seconds. Repeat this three times. -hold a pen at arm's length. Focus your gaze on the tip of the pen. Bring the pen closer to your nose at a slow and steady pace. Repeat this exercise 5-10 times. -concentrate your vision on the tip of your nose. Then shift your gaze to an object further away, either at arm's length or 20 feet away. Then shift your eyes back to the tip of your nose. Repeat this exercise 10 times. -sit in a relaxed but upright position. Begin by look to the left-most position (without moving your head) and hold to stretch your eye muscles. Hold for 5 counts. Blink and return your gaze back to look straight in front of you. Then look to the right-most position with your gaze and hold for 5 counts. Repeat 3 times, blinking between each hold. Then, repeat this exercise looking up and then down. Do not forget about blinking. -sit in a relaxed but upright position. Look up and to your right for 5 seconds. Return your gaze to center. Look up to and to your left for 5 seconds. Return your gaze to center. Look down and to your right for 5 seconds. Return your gaze to center. Look down and to your left for 5 seconds. Insufficient sleep may weaken your vision, so shoot for 8 hours of sound sleep a night. Rest your eyes 10 minutes for every 50 minutes spent reading or in front of the computer. If your eyes feel overly tired, lie down and place cooling cucumber slices over your eyelids. Medication: take homoeopathic medicine which will help you in preventing first and then reducing the power of your eyes (if the eye power is less). Take physostigma 6/ thrice daily for 1 month and instill euphrasia eye drops twice a day. Thereafter, revert back for further guidance.

I have double vision problem and right eye with an amblyopia .Doctor said right eye is with optic atrophy .So no solution .Is der is any treatment from which i could see with clear vision and not with double vision.

Phaco Development Program, Fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology, DNB Ophtalmology, MBBS
Ophthalmologist, Mysore
There is currently no treatment for optic atrophy. If one eye has optic atrophy and you still have double vision then it is called uniocular diplopia and the problem could be in your cornea/lens or you could have increased intraocular pressure. Get your eye checked by a reputed qualified eye doctor and when you go for a checkup carry all the medicines you are currently on.

Hello you should go a eye check up again because there might be any change your number. Wash your eyes with clean water twice daily and instill 2 drops of CmD2 eye drop in each eye twice daily. DO the below given exercises to strengthen your eye muscles;- 1. Palm your eyes:-Sit comfortably in a chair. Rub your hands together until they feel warm. Close your eyes and cover them lightly with your cupped palms. Avoid applying pressure to your eyeballs.Make sure no light can enter your eyes though gaps between your fingers Take deep breaths slowly and evenly while thinking of a calming scene, like an empty beach, a clear lake, or a still mountain. Once you see nothing but blackness, remove your palms from your eyes. Repeat the palming for 3 minutes or more. 2. Massage your eyes. Hello lybrate-user. People with weak retina should follow a few precautions: (1) as mentioned by your doctor, it would be good not to lift heavy weights. (2) avoid sports involving balls that would pose a chance of injury to the eye. (eq. Soccer, basketball, rugby, etc.) (3) avoid exercises that require you to perform the valsalva manouvre (this involves trying to exhale with nose and mouth closed simultaneously. Certain pranayams and yogasan have these exercises. (4) you should undergo a 6 monthly / yearly retina examination. (5) in case you have symptoms of flashes of light or floaters in front of the eyes, it would be a better idea to get an immediate retina evaluation done. (6) eat a healthy antioxidant rich diet. Let me enumerate the diet necessary for healthy eyes. (a) green leafy vegetables including spinach, sprouts, cabbage, beetroot. (b) fruits-blue-berries, black-berries, strawberries, raspberries, kiwi fruit, grapes, pineapple, pomegranate, grapes, guava. (c) dry-fruits: almonds, walnuts, apricots, dates. (d) cereals: oats, barley, millets. (e) drink a cup of green tea daily. (f) drink a glass of milk daily. Hope my suggestions helped you. Take care-regards.

Hold a pen at arm's length, focus your eyes on it, and slowly bring the pen closer until it's about 6 inches away from your nose. Then slowly move it back, keeping your eyes focused on the pen, 10 times in all. Massage your temples. Using your thumb knuckles, massage your temples in small circles, 20 times in one direction and 20 in the other. Repeat the same actions above the mid-point of the eyebrows at the forehead, then below the eyes on both sides of the bridge of the nose. Take a mini-nap. Put your head back, close your eyes, and relax for 3 minutes. Insufficient sleep may weaken your vision, so shoot for 8 hours of sound sleep a night. Hello lybrate-user. Myopia means short sightedness. A person having myopia has poor vision for distance. There are various options that could be used for myopia: (1) glasses. You could choose to wear glasses. (2) contact lens: they form an alternative to glasses. They are suitable only for certain degrees of myopia and astigmatism. (3) refractive surgery: operations done to remove the refractive error (power) of the eyes are known as refractive surgery. There are certain basic criteria that most patients need to fulfill before they can safely undergo refractive surgery. To enumerate, they are: (1) stability of refraction: the power of the eyes should have become stable for a period of 1.5 years minimum without any change. (2) curvature of the cornea should be tested by a technique which is known as topography. (3) thickness of the cornea should be measured by a test known as pachymetry. The minimum thickness required is 550 microns. (4) dilated retina evaluation: this is one of the most important tests that should be performed by a trained retina specialist. This test helps in detection of any offensive lesion on the central or peripheral retina. In case of any retinal abnormality, these should be treated before undergoing the surgery for number reduction. (5) there should be no pre-existent corneal abnormality. (example: corneal scar, opacity, defect, etc.) another important suggestion is that whenever you go for the assessment (the above mentioned tests), you should discontinue the use of contact lenses at least 4 weeks prior to the assessment. The reason for this being that use of contact lens temporarily alters the contour of the cornea. It takes around 3-4 weeks for the restoration of the original corneal contour after removal of the contact lens. Another important point is that you, as a patient, should be compliant to put post operative medication in your eyes for at least 2 months. There is bound to be some discomfort, watering, foreign body sensation, pain after the surgery in most cases-you should be ready to tolerate that. A leave from work for 7-10 days after the surgery should be generally sufficient. Last but not the least, you should set realistic expectations from this surgery. Though extremely rare, there is a remote possibility that the surgery may need to be repeated. Also, the need for subsequent treatment for the eye may be required. Thus, you should be compliant enough to trust and follow your eye specialist. Take care, regards.

I use phones longer time sometime I am not able to see clear things I have red eyed too what should I do?

DHMS (Diploma in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery)

I use phones longer time sometime I am not able to see clear things I have red eyed too what should I do?
Mobile screen is made up of hundreds of tiny pixels that are constantly moving. Our eyes in turn are not naturally able to set focus on these constantly moving pixels, and hence we try to focus on an area behind the actual screen. Therefore, in order to work on a mobile, our eyes need to keep on fluctuating focus between their natural point of focus and the pixels on the screen. And this tires the eyes and causes a lot of wear and tear.As a result, we suffer from irritation, which may range from a number of things like headaches, dry eyes, blurred vision, problems in focusing and faulty color perception, to something as severe as glaucoma. The electromagnetic waves that are emitted by a mobile phone can be extremely damaging to the eyes. It has been studied and well documented that these cell phone waves can have a damaging effect on the various parts of the eye, including the retina and the cornea. Moreover, they can cause cataract too. Moreover it is more distressing for our eyes to view contents on a tiny screen which requires even more concentration and extenive usage of eyes without blinking thus causing Eye dryness making them vulnerable to frequent Eye problemss. . The solution for this problem I its reduced usage and while uing mobiles use them inproper light. There is nothing more effective than controlling usage to reduce and negate the effects. You can also reduce the intensity of the mobile’s screen by attaching a filter or by getting an eye-friendly screen. Above all, one must try to reduce the amount of mobile usage or take frequent breaks. Homoeopathic Eyedrops CINELUBE EYEDROPS ( HAPDCO) pour 2 drops 3 times daily.

Dear user. I can understand. Continuous use of mobile phone can damage your eye sight because of its brightness and color combination. Secondly, while using mobile, you usually forget to blink often and this causes lack of aqua inside eyes which causes irritation and dryness. I suggest reduce use of mobile phone. Take care.
