Quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Sir, 1) I have stiffness/fluctuating pain in both of my ribs cage (right side greater than left). Very severe at Early morning/stationary condition) 2) Severe gas retention/formation problem. 3) increases during gas retention/constipation and in winter season. 4) Backache (whole teeth me dard/jakaran rahatee hai. Hi lybrate-user, Homoeopathy has good treatment for your problem and without side effects or addiction. Please take homoeopathic medicine Magnesea phos 200 daily in the morning and Colocynthis 200 (5 to 6 pills each time) for 7 days.

Sir/madam, I have pain in my right scapula, from 4-5 years. Whenever i do some work, the pain increases and my right hand also starts paining. I cannot sleep turning to right side and if i use pillow to sleep it feel uncomfortable. Please advise what should I do? Thanks Sarla

You could be suffering from cervical spondylosis or disc prolapse. How old are you? Lie straight and Avoid pillows. Use hot water bag over the area. Apply diclofenac gel. If pain sites not improve you need to get x Ray of the neck. Consult your orthopedic dr.

Dear as you mentioned that pain increases in the morning. You have work stress you need to check your sitting posture sit in correct way adjust your chair and monitor screen -do hot fermentation 3 times in a day duration-20 min -do stretches 2 min proper along hold and relax do it for two days then I will tell you further program take care.

Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily. Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front.
