Hi doctors, I'm a type 1 diabetic patient from past 13 years, I'm under weight and very skinny my sugar levels r always high reason his I eat what ever I get and working in night shift due to this I skip my meal some time my insulin now a week before admitted in hospital my ketone report was positive and my Grbs was 400, now ketone is negative and my sugar level is under control. I'm taking human mixture 27 units in morning 6 units of actrapid in noon and 24 units in night. My concern is I want to gain weight and done what to eat to gain weight. please help me,

You can take besan cheela, moong dal cheela or moong dal dhokla ,khandvi in snacks take vegetables like lauki, soya nuggets and paneer veg. Avoid full cream milk.

Hello. Hello, Gaining weight is a slow process which requires patience and dedication! It not only depends upon the amount of food you consume daily, but also about eating Sensibly, depends upon your genes, your body's proper metabolism, assimilation and absorption, the levels of stress/ tension in your life, and any underlying medical condition you have! The food what and how you eat, makes the difference! For increasing your weight, concentrate on the below points ( if you don’t have any medical condition) which helps in gaining weight in a right way without harming your body. - Consume more healthy fats. Foods containing healthy fats are full of nutrients and also high in calories, making them a great option for weight gain. Foods containing plant fats should be your first option - this includes items such as nuts, seeds, peanut butter, avocados and olive oil. Foods containing healthy animals fats include lean meats and full fat dairy products - although if you have high cholesterol, you should probably stick to low-fat options. -Eat more protein. Good sources of protein include lean meat, fish and poultry, in addition to eggs, whole grains, dairy products and legumes. -Drink more calories. Try drinking a large glass of orange juice in the mornings (along with your normal breakfast). Drink a glass or two of full-cream milk throughout the day. -Have 6 small and frequent meals in a day. -Gain muscle mass. It's a good idea to continue to exercise while you attempt to gain weight the healthy way. Strength training includes working with weights and performing exercises such as squats, deadlifts, bench presses, bicep curls, crunches, chin-ups and leg curls. Just keep in mind that the more you exercise, the more calories you will need to consume to replace those you lost while working out. -Quit smoking. As it suppresses the appetite. -Stay healthy. The most important thing through the entire weight gain process is to stay healthy - eating a balanced diet and continuing to exercise throughout. -Take enough of rest and sleep for rejuvenation of the cells and tissues. -Think Positive which will help you in achieving your target of gaining weight. -Avoid taking unnecessary stress/ tension. Medication: Take Schwabe’s Alfaalfa Tonic and Five Phos., both thrice daily ½ an hour before meals for 3months. Revert.

To start with avoid simple sugars as far as possible like sugar, jaggery, honey, sweets, candies, chocolates, cold drinks etc. 'Eat Out' less, avoid junk and have good quantity of fresh foods which are not processed like fruits, vegetables, soups, salads, nuts, low fat milk, curd etc. Combine these dietary changes with 30 mins to one- hour play/ walk / exercise. Its difficult to draft a diet chart here which is tailored to meet your requirements. 1. Avoid all snacks and commercial products with sugar in them - biscuits, cakes, bournvita, horlicks, coke, pepsi, energy drinks, sweetened yogurt etc. 2. Cut down on your daily intake of tea/coffee and maintain it at 3-4 cups a day. 3. Try to add little sugar to any beverage (coffee, tea, milk, lemon water etc.) that you have and ideally you should refrain from adding any sugar altogether. 4. If you have a sitting job then ensure that you do not sit for more than 30 minutes at one stretch. Get up and move a little after every 30 minutes. 5. Try to work out for 20 minutes each day. You do not necessarily have to go to the gym. You can incorporate some pretty powerful exercises in your daily routine like - squats, skipping, surya namaskar and core exercises. 6. Do not eat for 3 hours before you go to sleep. Eating before going to bed is one of the main cause of rapid weight gain. 7. Drink 8-10 glasses of water everyday but remember that tea/coffee are not substitutes for pure water.

Change ur shampoo into a baby shampoo,,apply alovera gel extract,, apply hibiscus paste with olive oil,apply hot oil massage with olive oil and coconut oil,,apply natural henna powder dipped in liquor of tea overnight next day add whole egg, curd, 10 ml coconut oil and few drops of lemon juice do it once in a week,,with this u need proper homoeopathic treatment to cure ur problem

If the baby is on formula feed in bottle avoid bottle and give exclusively breast milk and after each feed put baby on shoulder or your thigh and tap his back. Give colic aid drops thrice daily and ask me personally for guiding you in caring for child as personal doctor.

Tab. Keraglo men once daily for 3 months. Qilib men solution 6-8 sprays once daily at night for one month Use Anaphase shampoo. Increase intake of protein diet & Green leafy vegetables. Check blood test for Thyroid & Haemoglobin. If bald patches:- Tugain 5% solution for application 1 ml at night for one month.
