It looks like it is a case of cerebral palsy. I can comment exactly and more on prognosis of condition, when you send reports. In cases, there is no complete recovery, but much benefit can be achieved using some medications, and physiotherapy.

It might be a temporary symptom, so don't worry. Get back to your doctor, (it may me due to uncontrolled diabetes, peripheral neuropthy.) be regular in taking your medications and add some physical activity so that your sugar control balances efficiently. See that you eat something before and after the activity. Increase your activity level in a graded manner according to your convenience.

One of my friend She had taken I pill before 21 from now so she wanted to know than can she take her usual medicine which she routine wise take for her migraine problem. So after having I pill can she it her migraine medicine?

BHMS
Homeopath, Secunderabad
Yes , she can take the other medicine. Let her also think of stopping the migraine tablets in the long term. One should strive to keep the mind / body fit and healthy by adhering to a healthy lifestyle. Exercise ( and yoga ) if done everyday can reduce the dependency of medications. She can also use Homeopathy for her migraine. Homeopathy tries to remove the tendency from its root and heal it naturally.

You get your gall stone and kidney stone removed by surgery. No other alternative. Consult surgeon and get it operated as early as possible.

I have bells palsy for past four years. I'm taking treatment on sidhha. But including that now am in under the treatment of physiotherapy. After this I feel very bad. I think that there is a problem with my physiotherapy treatment. I don't know whether this is a correct treatment or not. But I have to know that there is any complications with my physio treatment?

MBBS, MS ( general surgery )
Neurosurgeon, Delhi
If you still have residual paresis of facial muscles after 4 years of onset of confirmed bells palsy, its unlikely to improve further. But at the time you should be sure that it was bells palsy and there is not any lesion inside brain responsible for facial nerve palsy.

Hi lybrate user, all these symptons including excessive levels of cortisol, indicating cushing's syndrom. For this you can try allopathic medicines initially to get immediate improvement but that will not be a permanent solution. So, you can opt homeopathic medicines paralally, on long time intake of these medicines you can reduce the dosage of allopthic drugs n later permanently with observing improvement in your condition, symptoms n suffering wise, gradually can tapper the allopthic drugs. But in homeo, you need to continue medication for quite long time as its related to harmonal imbalance,&a kind of auto immune dissorder/metobolism.

It seems you are suffering from a depressive disorder. Solopose or escitalopram is an antidepressant and chills and shivering are two of its less common side effects. I would advise you to consult a psychiatrist as soon as possible and change the drug. Take care.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. By paralytic attack, do you mean cva or some clot in brain types? I will advise seeing his condition to consult a neurophysician, some medications for strengthening like vitamin b12 supplementation and one for brain can be given but mainstay will be intensive physical therapy under supervision of a trained physiotherapist. Adequate calcium and vitamin d supplementation to maintain bone strength should also be given because he is not mobilizing much which may make his bones osteoporotic. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance.

Climbing up and down stairs requires enormous efforts by the body and the heart needs to pump more blood to your limbs to make them work. It is a normal phenomenon and is exaggerated in old age. I would advise you not to use stairs too much. Drunk lot of fluids and keep yourself hydrated. Move your ankles and feet before you get up from during our lying position, in order to pull back blood from your lower limbs to your heart. Regards.
