Hello, During pregnancy there are no periods. But if bleeding occurs then threatened miscarriage would need to be investigated.

The reason for not having baby might be chance factor alone or some problems inside you or your wife. Both of you need check up by infertility specialist to diagnose the cause and get that cause treated.

Another is lack of knowledge or any incidence in past... In certain conditions and also some times there is naturally less desire for sex... Then she will need proper treatment... If your cycles is regular, say your menses start on 1st and ends on 5th, then safe period is 5-10 and 21-to start of menses is considered to be safe. But pregnancy can happen any time. It will help you. Thank you.

Dear patient, you need to control your further weight gain first for which you must do 40 mins of brisk walking daily (morning walk or evening walk before dinner) and do following diet control. Along with this homeopathic medications can help you cure this problem from root if taken regularly with detailed case taking, you can consult privately for the same with all your reports till now DO'S AND DONT'S: Avoid a sedentary life. Regular and moderate exercises daily, even for ten minutes will go a long way. Daily fast walking for 45 minutes is helpful to burn calories. Avoid a high fatty diet like cakes, biscuits, candies, chocolates, butter, cheese and sugar. Avoid fried and oily food Do not over-eat. Instead eat frequent small meals, rather than infrequent large meals with unhealthy snacks in between. Eat 3 to 4 moderate meals a day with your main meal in the middle of the day. Eat slowly. Not only will your meal last longer but it will also feel more substantial. Avoid smoking and alcohol as it predisposes a person towards obesity. Replace daily consumption of soft drinks, fruit juices and milk with 10-12 glasses of water. A simple crash diet is never an answer to obesity. Instead a balanced diet with regular exercise is advisable. Think of a permanent change rather than a short term dieting. Walking burns upto 250 calories per hour. Jogging uses about 400 calories per hour. Swimming burns upto 500 calories per hour and playing a game like squash could burn upto 650 calories per hour. Brisk walking at a pace of 120 steps per minute not only helps you to lose weight but also gives your heart and lungs a workout at the same time. DAILY CALORIE REQUIREMENTS: Men with inactive lifestyle : 2400 - 2500 cals Men with active lifestyle : 2800 - 3000cals Men with very active lifestyle : 3400 - 3500 cals Women with inactive lifestyle: 1900 cals Women with active lifestyle: 2150 cals Women with very active lifestyle: 2500 cals DIET CHART: Early morning: (6-7 am) : ? 1-2 glasses of Warm water with the some freshly squeezed lemon juice and after 15-20 mins you can have your morning tea. (preferably green tea) Breakfast: (9-10 am): Poha/upma/brown bread vegetable sandwhich/cornflakes with 1 bowl of seasonal fruits (avoid butter in sandwhich and excessive intake of bananas and chickoo) Lunch: (1-2 pm): it is better to start lunch with a small quantity of salad which can have sprouts into it. It helps your stomach to fill up enough so that you don?t bump into extra rotis when more hungry. It can be followed by 2 rotis, plate of cooked vegetables and 1 cup of dal. You can have 1 small cup of curd of skimmed milk or 1-2 glass of buttermilk. Evening snack: (5-6 pm): 1 cup tea with light snack of 2-3 wheat/oats biscuits. Dinner: 2 rotis (without ghee) with vegetables and brown rice if you want for 2 times/week in small quantities. Avoid curd at night as it causes constipation.

I'm women 30 years married on last year I got one missed abortion on 3rd month after the abortion I getting a kind of urinary infections every month. Initially urine will get smelled in panties after two days will get watery discharge later bleeding like periods for four to five days. I gone to doctor. He gave me norflox 400 I having very month this problem. That to after periods gets over after a week. And I have pcod past 6 yrs. Im height is 5.5 feet wgt : 76 kg for past 4-6 yrs.help me please

She can take any fruit she likes but avoid juices as fiber in fruit will help her more. She should take a balanced diet with more proteins like milk, curds, eggs, clear soups, healthy carbs and fats. Fruits and vegetables give natural vitamins and minerals plus some carbs. Give her iron-folic acid- calcium tablets like she must have been taking during pregnancy.

Hello doctor I am a married girl with negative O blood group, but my husband has B+ blood group, but I abort a baby within first trimester (near about 45 days) of my pregnancy with MTP pills. Is there any problems in my next pregnancy or children. Someone tell me my baby can be died or may be born with anemia ,jaundice. Please help me. My husband give me MTP pills .i never go any doctor for these. Please help me.

Yes whenever a rh negative lady abort or deliver her baby she has to take anti D injections to prevent development of immmunity against rh positive blood group. Other wise you body develope antibody against rh positive blood. So next time you concieve n babies blood group is different than urs. 25-50% chances is there of above mentioned issues.

Here are 6 indigenous Indian healthy foods that are ideal for you.

  1. Idli: This south Indian steamed dish is free from oil and fats and rich in carbohydrates and proteins. Having a low fat content makes idlis very easy to digest. Idlis are prepared using a combination of rice and dal. Their amino acids complement each other and the fermentation process enhances the vitamin b and protein levels in the dish.
  2. Sattu: Sattu is a staple dish in Bihar that is made primarily from roasted gram flour along with barley and wheat flour. Sattu is rich in fiber, has cooling properties and has a low glycaemic index. Roasting the flour also helps retain all the nutrients in the flour. Sattu can be made in a number of ways including paranthas and ladoos.
  3. Dhokla: Dhoklas are steamed Gujarati snacks made using gram flour. As with idlis, the flour is allowed to ferment before steaming. This helps enhance its nutrient value. Dhoklas also have a very low glycaemic index and is easy to digest.
  4. Bajra: Bajra is a very humble grain that is commonly eaten in Rajasthan. Bajra is a rich source of energy and aids digestion. It has an anti diabetic effect and is also said to promote a healthy heart. The lignin in grains is also said to have cancer protecting properties. Bajra is a winter food that is usually made into rotis or khichadi.
  5. Daliya: Daliya is also known as broken wheat. Daliya recipes can be sweet and savoury. Daliya is a complex carbohydrate that is slow to digest and hence releases energy at a slow, sustained rate. This makes it an ideal food for people suffering from high cholesterol or diabetes. The high fiber content also makes daliya easy to digest.
  6. Sprouts: Almost every guide to healthy eating promotes sprouts. As the name suggests, sprouts are lentils that have been germinated till they 'sprout' a root. This germination process makes them easy to digest by breaking down the nutrients into simple forms. Sprouts are rich in fiber, vitamin, minerals and proteins. They can be eaten raw or cooked depending on your preference.
