No need to worry, it might be because of I pill but as the period occurred don't worry. But please have the act during the safe period (1 week before and after period).

My wife age is 30 years. Small hypodensities / artifacts in the bilateral frontal lobes, what is the main problem in the above decide?

MD - Psychiatry, MBBS
Psychiatrist, Patna
Dear , this ct scan report is useless as it does not clarify between hypodensity and artefacts. Artefacts means there may be some defect in machine or material while doing the procedure. So it is better to do a mri brain/ repeat ct from some other place.

MD-Ayurveda, Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery (BAMS)
Sexologist, Haldwani
Hello- Darkening and itching in private parts is a kind of fungal infestation . It occurs due to excess of sweating may occur due to tight clothing. It may or may not be associated with itching and scaling. 1)Maintain proper hygiene, wear loose clothes and inner wares. 2)Mob the area with wet cotton and apply Neem tail twice a day. 3)You can also apply masoor dal powder with milk as a paste in the affected area. 4)Applying Tulsi (Basil leaves) extract in affected area also responds quickly. 5)Treat your menstrual problem if having.

She has tested negative for pregnancy twice but is late for periods by two weeks. What could be the reason? She has a history of irregular periods too. In the beginning of the year she had periods for 51 days. Gynaec told it's a hormone thing that all will become alright after first pregnancy. Please help.

MD - Alternate Medicine, BHMS
Homeopath, Surat
I agree with the gynaecologist. Irregular periods often cause confusion in whether the girl is pregnant or not. After one pregnancy, the hormones will get balanced and won't be so problematic.

Is licking or sucking of vagina is safe or causes disease is female likes sucking of vagina.

Dear user. Vagina is a storehouse of many germs which could cause many diseases. You should understand that vagina cannot be cleaned completely. Therefore it is not advised to lick or suck vagina. Though you can always do that if you can ensure that it is perfectly clean and hygienic. Take care.

My wife is approx 1 month pregnant. Will it affect our baby if we have unprotected sex from now. Please suggest.

M.B.S.(HOMEO), MD - Homeopathy
Homeopath, Visakhapatnam
Sex during pregnancy will not directly harm your baby. An amniotic sac and the muscles of your uterus protect your baby. Additionally, a thick mucus plug seals the cervix. This plug protects the baby from infections and assures the penis never comes into contact with the fetus. In most cases, sex during pregnancy will not hurt the baby; however, there are some exceptions. If you are experiencing any of the following, you will want to discuss whether you can have sex with your partner. High risk pregnancy a history of pre-term labor or miscarriages unexplained vaginal bleeding or cramping placenta previa multiple fetuses an incompetent cervix.

Hello I am married women I was on birth pills for five years now its more than 8 months I am trying to conceive but I am not able to do it please help.

BHMS, MD-Homeopathy, PGPC - Preventive Cardiology
Homeopath, Delhi
Lybrate-user, birth control pills taken for a long time, at times inhibits or delays the natural conception process. There can be many reasons for a delay in conception. Please rule out such causes like pcod, hormonal imbalance, uterine fibroids etc. With an ultrasound of the abdomen and complete hormonal assay. Though 8 months is not a very long period, but still these investigations should be carried out. Infertility can be treated excellently with homoeopathy. These medicines have no side effect and are extremely effective.

If you are achieving ejaculation within the vagina, then premature ejaculation is not the reason for not conceiving.

Hi, I am 20 years old. Me and my boyfriend had protected sex 10 days ago for a few times. Then I took a pill next to next day and now I am late by two days. I have never been late before. Is it normal? And if it is, then for how many days is it normal to wait for periods? Also I am having fever since last few days. So is there a chance that it maybe related to the delayed periods?

MBBS, FAACS(USA)
Sexologist, Ahmedabad
First things if it was protected sex than need not to take this medicines as they are only emergency contraceptive pills. Not regular one. So should use carefully under gynecologist advice. This pills contains hormone. So it might alter your period for a week. But still after a week if you do not get your period than check pregnancy with urine pregnancy test. If it's negative nothing to worry. You need to visit your gynecologist to get your period. Gynecologist will prescribe pills for your period. Which usually happen in a week.
