Hi, I am 37 years old I got big belly. Every night my snores disturbing others. How to stop it? Please advise.
I am giving you some health tips for snoring problem Lifestyle changes to stop snoring Lose weight. If you’re overweight Exercise exercising your arms, legs, and abs, for example, also leads to toning the muscles in your throat, which in turn can lead to less snoring Quit smoking. smoking irritates the membranes in the nose and throat which can block the airways and cause snoring. Avoid alcohol, sleeping pills, and sedatives because they relax the muscles in the throat Establish regular sleep patterns. Create a healthy bedtime ritual with your partner and stick to it Clear nasal passages. If you have a stuffy nose Keep bedroom air moist. Dry air can irritate membranes in the nose and throat, so if swollen nasal tissues are the problem, a humidifier may help. Change your sleeping position. Elevating your head four inches may ease breathing Sleep on your side instead of your back Consult chest Physician for further management

Sir how to cure blood pressure. I am using tablets loasr h but my bp is too high.

Homeopath, Faridabad
Sir how to cure blood pressure. I am using tablets loasr h but my bp is too high.
Hello, Few lifestyle changes can help you in controlling and preventing the high blood pressure, even if you're taking blood pressure medication. Eat healthy foods. Consume more fruits, vegetables, whole grains, poultry, fish and low-fat dairy foods. Eat less saturated fat and trans fat. Decrease the salt in your diet. So, avoid eating processed foods, such as canned soups or frozen dinners which contains extra salt in it. Keeping a healthy weight, or losing weight if you're overweight or obese, can help you control your high blood pressure and lower your risk of related health problems. Increase physical activity which can help lowering your blood pressure, manage stress, reduce your risk of several health problems. Get indulged in regular exercising (if your doctor allows you). Limit alcohol. Even if you're healthy, alcohol can raise your blood pressure. If you choose to drink alcohol, do so in moderation. Don't smoke. Tobacco injures blood vessel walls and speeds up the process of hardening of the arteries. Reduce stress as much as possible. Practice healthy coping techniques, such as muscle relaxation, deep breathing or meditation. Getting regular physical activity and plenty of sleep can help, too. Monitor your blood pressure at home. Medication: Take homoeopathic medicine - Schwabe’s Essentia Aurea/ thrice daily which is a cardio-tonic which helps in maintaining blood pressure, improves muscle tone of the heart and narrowing of blood vessels.

Dear, obsessive thinking could be the main cause for your lack of sleep. You must be able to distinguish between mental disease and mental disorder. Your problem is a mental disorder. Not a mental disease. Therefore no medicines are required. Mental disorder can be successfully treated with the help of awareness, meditation, psychotherapy techniques, life style changes etc. I think two or three counseling sessions and psycho therapy techniques should solve your problem. Let me know if you are willing to undergo counseling sessions and tailor made psycho therapy through mobile. Take care.

How to Get Rid of Age Spots: Identifying and Treating Melasma

MBBS, MD - Dermatology
Dermatologist, Delhi
How to Get Rid of Age Spots: Identifying and Treating Melasma

Melasma is a condition that causes the skin to bear a patchy appearance with dark and discoloured segments. It is also commonly known as chloasma when it is found in pregnant women. This is a condition that can be found in women more commonly than it is found in men. Let us cast a glance on the symptoms, causes, as well as the ways of identifying and treating this condition.

  • Identifying Melasma: There are many symptoms with which one can identify and recognise Melasma. These include brownish coloured patches that may appear on the cheeks, forehead, chin and even the bridge of the nose. These patches will usually be much darker than the actual skin colour of the patient, which makes them stand out even more prominently. One will generally see these symmetrical patches on either sides of the face and other parts of the body that are left exposed to the Sun for prolonged hours, on a regular basis. These symptoms can help you in identifying the condition, in which case you must immediately see a dermatologist who will help in formal diagnosis and immediate treatment.
  • Causes: The causes of Melasma are unknown so far. Sensitivity to estrogen and progesterone are also considered as the cause behind the advent of this skin condition, especially during menopause and for women who regularly take birth control and other hormonal pills for any other ailment. Constant exposure to the Sun can also alter the cells that create and control one's pigment also known as melanocytes.
  • Diagnosis: The diagnosis of Melasma is done with the help of a physical examination that will study the area that has been affected. Thereafter, the doctor may perform the wood's lamp examination where a light is held up against the skin so that the doctor can check the depth of the skin that has been affected. A biopsy may be conducted for more severe cases by taking a small portion of skin tissue and examining under the microscope.
  • Treatment: Most women report that Melasma disappears on its own. These patches slowly fade after delivery, or once the birth control pills and hormonal therapy stop. One needs to use a good sunscreen at all times of the day. A light makeup helps to camouflage the condition. The dermatologist can also ask you to use certain medicated creams that can help in fading the patches to a great extent. Also, chemical peels and dermabrasion are other mild procedures that can be carried out in such cases, to exfoliate the top layer of the skin. Q switched laser helps to treat the resistant dermal melasma cases. One must remember that these ointments and procedures do not guarantee that the condition will not recur in the future. In several patients, Melasma needs maintenance treatment to prevent recurrence.

Nothing can supply ant moisture from outside. It has to come from within. Circulating blood is the only carrier to bring moisture to the skin. Therefore it is necessary to open up the capillaries near the skin. T achieve there are two ways. First and very effective is a steam bath. To know the procedure pl ask a private question. I will send you the procedure which you can do at home. The second is less effective but works a bit slowly. Buy a plastic brush which has about 1" long flexible bristles. Rub your entire skin with it when it is wet during your daily bath. Do it for a week every day and then on alternate days. After a couple of months you can stop it. You can do it again for a few days if you need it, or once every week. This will give you a glowing skin which will be owners pride and neighbors envy. And you will not need any cream, du, lotion etc.

Dengue is a self limiting viral fever with usual symptoms of severe influenza or viral disease and gets relieved by some symptomatic medications, rest etc. Very rarely there are complications like hemorrhagic disease or multiple organ failure in some vulnerable people like small children, aged or with chronic disorders. You should see a Physician with all old reports of tests and prescriptions for a review and diagnosis.

I live a very isolated life, I work from home, hardly there is a need for me to leave home. Once in a couple of weeks I go outside, I am happy with my life, but I get scared at times. I get scared because I think will it affect my level of confidence, am I loosing something because of it, why should I leave home if there is no need, am I too scared to leave my comfort zone, I am just confused. I get depressed regarding my future. Is it unnecessary fear or is it something really to be worried about?

C.S.C, D.C.H, M.B.B.S
General Physician,
You need not worry if you have no problem in going out when there is the need for. You are worried and over worked because of isolation in one place. At least once a week you go for a film and every evening you take a walk which is good for physical and mental health/ what is your age and how about your family life / are you married or live with parents. Keep in touch.
