In menstrual cycle, the egg from ovary passes through fallopian tube and sheds with the menstrual blood. If the egg has got fertilized with the sperm in fallopian tube, the ovum gets attached or say implanted in the fundus portion of the uterus for further development of the foetus. This is happening.

hello . Ovulation happens 14 days before you start your period. Once you've ovulated an egg is only viable for a day, so 24 hours after ovulation you've missed your most fertile time. In fact a ten year study found that having sex starting 6 days prior to ovulation is the most conducive to achieving conception. 2. Take vitamins Your ob-gyn can prescribe a prenatal vitamin or tell you about the right over-the-counter one for you to buy. You also might want to take folic acid (or a prenatal vitamin with folic acid), which greatly lowers the risk of neural tube defects such as spina bifida in baby. Foods like strawberries, spinach, beans and orange juice are also high in folic acid. 3. Live a healthy lifestyle That means maintaining healthy exercise habits, so you’re not at either extreme—over- or underweight. Eat a healthy diet rich in fruits, vegetables and whole grains and manage stress to reduce tension and anxiety (consider trying yoga, meditation or acupuncture). 4. When you’re trying to conceive, it gives you an incentive to hit the sheets all the time. If you have sex two or three times a week, you’ll be more likely to get pregnant fast. Some experts, including Stacey, say the ideal schedule is to have sex once a day, every other day, especially during your fertile time right before and after ovulation. for good result consult me .

Hello, please rule out pregnancy if you have been sexually active and if negative then you can opt for a withdrawal bleed with progesterones for resuming menses.

4 Ways Counselling Post Marriage is Beneficial

4 Ways Counselling Post Marriage is Beneficial

While marriage is one of the most sought after relationships, it also is a very tricky one. A high level of compatibility is felt when you meet that one person with whom you are ready to spend the rest of your life with; sparks do fly and you feel you have just found the right person for you.

However, over a period of time, things do change. What was once cute or romantic does not continue to appeal the same way after a while. Knowing a person completely is an ongoing process, and even after marriage, especially if you move into a joint family. Knowing the person before beginning to live with the whole bunch is very important, as this helps in improving the understanding and increases the much required emotional space.

Not just that, people also do change with time and a relationship has to move to the next level too. Issues arise when people do not realise that and continue to expect things to remain unchanged rosy and romantic forever. What is surprising is that taking a step back and looking at the relationship objectively can help salvage the relationship in a number of cases.

The following are some situations when post-marriage counselling can bevery helpful.
1. When silence reigns: When a couple who would spend hours on the phone chatting away resort to silence for a major part of their time spent together, it is time to revisit the relationship. Getting external help is one of the best ways to tackle this, as talking to a friend or a family member can help get some insight.

2. When the couple just coexists: After a while, there seems to be something lost between the two, with only the same physical space being the common factor. There is a clear lack of intimacy, which can be brought back by getting someone else to talk.

3. For the children’s sake, let’s stay together: Although children help in strengthening the bond of the couple, they should not be the only reason for a couple to stay together. For a child, staying with a single parent may be more beneficial than staying in a family where the couple is constantly fighting. Here again, external help may be useful.

4. When there is the ‘other’ person: After the charm of marriage wears out, it is common for either of the couple to look for company outside the marriage. If an affair is being suspected, it is advisable to seek external help to clear the air and to save the relationship.
A marriage can easily be saved, the only thing required is a fresh pair of ears and eyes to hear and look at it from all perspectives. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a Psychologist.

It is called as round ligament pain. It occurs because herr ligaments gets stretched by growing uterus, and with brisk movement or getting up it produces pain. If pain is severe one can take tab. Crocin or parcetamol for pain relief. In the meantime it is better to have per vaginal examination by a gynecologist to check whether you are not going in labor.

Without wasting time, you should first get your mammography done to rule out any malignancy. Consult your gynecologist after that.

I am pregnant and I want to abort, so by the surgical method, would it hurt? And which one will give more assurance? The surgical method or the medication.

BASM, MD, MS (Counseling & Psychotherapy), MSc - Psychology, Certificate in Clinical psychology of children and Young People, Certificate in Psychological First Aid, Certificate in Positive Psychology

Dear user. ABORTIONS can be performed as early as an intra-uterine pregnancy can be identified by ultrasound, which is usually about 3-4 weeks after your Last Menstrual Period (LMP). In the first trimester, two options are available: Aspiration is done by a physician in the clinic or the Abortion Pill which you take at home. Do not take any decisions before consulting your gynecologist. Take care.

My friend is pregnant now in 6th month. When she gone for scanning in the report the remark is "Echogenic intracardiac focus noted across the right ventricle. We got different opinion from different doctors but we didn't able to understand what is the exact problem. Doctor said nothing serious to worry but we are very curious about this issue. Please let us know your suggestions on this.

DNB (Obstetrics and Gynecology)
Gynaecologist, Bangalore
Echogenic intracardiac focus (EIF) is a small bright spot seen in the baby?s heart on an ultrasound exam. This is thought to represent mineralization, or small deposits of calcium, in the muscle of the heart. EIFs are found in about 3-5% of normal pregnancies and cause no health problems. EIFs themselves have no impact on health or heart function. Often the EIF is gone by the third trimester. If there are no problems or chromosome abnormalities, EIFs are considered normal changes, or variants.
