Hello, you can take homoeopathic medicines 1. Belladonna 30 (4 drops in little water) thrice a day for 2 days. 2. Ferrum phos 6x (3 tabs) thrice a day for 2 days and update. Keep a gap of 15 - 20 minutes in both the medicines.

There is no such thing that you may not suffer from t. B, if you acquire the infection from another person then there is possibility and in that case you will be put on cat 2 regimen. But don't worry keep good lifestyle healthy diet avoid direct contact with any p. T. B patients and you are safe.

Ur weight? current fbs/ppbs//hba1c level? bp reading? if you have bp--some medicine can have side effect of cough. Hence ask with details privately---whether cough is dry//yellow sputum? any history of fever.

I am vipul and my age is 21, For about 1 weeks now I have been experiencing difficulty sufficiently breathing, especially at night. It's a sensation that I can only describe as a feeling of not being able to get enough air in my lungs or 'a tightness in my chest/airways. It's still apparent during the day but worsens by night. I also have a dry cough accompanied by wheeziness when I inhale and I feel like I might need to phlegm but it hardly ever comes out. On the rare occasions that I do actually phlegm; it's mostly clear and rather sticky.

Hi take ginger tea mixed with 2-3 crushed garlic cloves. Massaging the chest with warm sesame oil mixed with salt helps to loosen the phlegm deposited in the chest, especially, when followed with steam inhalation. Take shwas kuthar ras twice a day. Pranacharya asthamin capsule 1-1 twice a day. And pranacharya shwas vikarasav 2-2 tsf twice a day. 1-1 drop of cow ghee in both nostrils at night time before sleep. Take hot water steam.

Firstly there's no lifelong cure for the common cold. Antibiotics are only effective against infections of throat and are of no use against cold viruses. Over-the-counter (otc) cold preparations won't cure a common cold or make it go away any sooner, and most have side effects. A saltwater gargle 1 teaspoon salt and 1/2tsp turmeric dissolved in a glass of warm water can temporarily relieve a sore or scratchy throat. To help relieve nasal congestion, try saline (pure salt water) nasal drops. If you have a throat infection, or a viral cold then I will prescribe appropriate meds based on your detailed assessment. Do reply back for medication prescriptions. Being also a general physician and registered dietitian, I prescribe both evidence based herbal as well as allopathic medicines complementing with dietary guidelines and home remedies carefully personalized for each individual patient.

I am suffering from congestion in breathing. I am a passive smoker. I want to quit smoking as it's not an easy task for me. Can you guys suggest me something so that I could get relief from the congestion.

POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA IN CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGY, Masters in clinical psychology
Psychologist, Mumbai
HI Lybrate user Quitting smoking is not easy task for anyone, many ex-smokers say it was the hardest thing they ever did. Its depends on your will power and motivation. It may take more than one try to quit for your better health, so don't give up. Its needs strong will power. Remember that millions of people have quit smoking for living of healthy life, you can be one of them. When an urge to smoking strikes remember it may be intense but it will probably pass within five to ten minutes, try to distract yourself do some physical activities. Think about the benefits of quit smoking and positive change in your life. And for your congestion in breathing consult any nearest physician. All The Best.
