My dad who's age 47 nw had stones in pancreas of 10mm later by ercp method they have removed the stones but my dad was having severe abdomen n back pains so contacting doctors found its pancreatic cancer n it was in 1st stage n during d surgery process cancer was in stage 2a. They removed bile duct, gallbladder, head of pancreas as far as I know, next which treatment should be given chemo or radiotherapy & I want to know how many days he will survive plss tell me with the experience of patients. I don't want to loose my dad so soon we need him pls!

BHMS
Homeopath,
See no one can predict the time how many days he will survive. Second thing cancer is not curable disease. So only we can increase the life of patient with surgery chemo n radio with supportive care. So whatever oncologist n oncosurgeon tell you go with them have a faith in them. Chemo is used for killing the cells m radio is used for killing the metas.

He have anal fistula from 3 years. What to do?

Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS), MS - Urology, MBBS
Urologist,
Dear, you should consult a proctologist or a general surgeon for surgery which is a must other wise it progress and complicate straight forward surgery to risky surgery with uncertain results. Alternatively you may go to ayurvedacharya for treatment called ksharsutra which is less painful and less cumbersum. But treatment is must. Do not wait.

I am a 35 year old woman. For the last 9 months I have been experiencing on and off some discomfort when I eat certain types of food or aerated drinks, beers, wine. My stomach gets bloated and I get a slight pain (similar to a cramp) in my stomach and in the area above the navel. As soon as I start belching I get relief. I am confused as it does not happen every time I have that particular type of food. Sometimes I dont get it at all for 10 days in a row although eating everything and then suddenly it happens for 2-3 days in a row. Hence I am unable to identify which food or drink is affecting me.. Seems like some sort of gas problem but how can I treat this as it is going on for too long. Kindly advise.

u seem to be suffring from acidity -Avoid foods and drinks that trigger acidity (e.g. Fatty ,Spicy foods, onions, garlic, peppermint, chocolate, coffee, tea, citrus fruits or juices, tomatoes, cola or alcohol) -Stop smoking. & Avoid alcohol;Stress may increase stomach acids -Wear loose-fitting clothes.Tight clothes or belts can constrict your stomach. -Lose weight; Extra fat places pressure on abdomen, pushing gastric juices up  -Do daily exercise.like walking; It keeps you upright, allowing gravity to aid digestion -Don't lie down after eating.Wait at least 2-3 hours after meal before sleeping. Avoid late night snacks .Elevate the head end of bed by 6-8 inches. Sleep in left lateral position. -Review the medications;that cause acidity: like pain relievers/ antibiotics/Iron tablets HOME REMEDIES:.Dried ginger ,dried fennel or Ripened guava can speed up digestion of food  -Juices-Citrus drinks such as orange, tomato juice ,grape fruit, and pineapple juice are very acidic and can cause acid reflux. Other juices like apple, carrot, aloe vera,-are less acidic and thus safe..  -TREATMENT: -Antacids: for mild symptoms, likeMucaine gel, may give relief.  -For severe cases, tablet Pantocid –DSR are taken once/twice daily before meals as these reduce acid production in the stomach.

In Ayurved we called as a Grahani Rog or in allopathic it is Irritable Bowel Syndrome, its a very common problem thesedays, The root cause of all disease lies within the process of digestion, when the digestive system is working at its optimum supported by correct lifestyle and correct quanity and quality of food as per our individual Prakruti. The food we ingest is broken down in to the constituents that nourish the tissues and supports our everyday functions. When the digestive fire – Agni, which burns within our stomach, is affected by incorrect lifestyle and eating habits this ultimately affects the digestive process causing food to be either partially digested or over digested leading to the formation of Ama- toxins. Not only does incorrect digestive fire give rise to toxins but it weakens the function behind the digestive process itself. Feel free to consult in private with all relevant records for the management.
