What Are The Primary Causes Of Male Infertility?


Infertility of men can never let the women get pregnant. Lack of sperm count, lack of sperm in the semen, the low speed of the sperm to reach the egg, thick sperm hampering the speed of the sperm t reach the egg, cystic fibrosis, erectile dysfunction, injury in testicles, problem in ejaculating etc are some of the immediate medical reasons for male infertility.

Here, a couple of primary reasons are listed starting from medical causes to health and lifestyle causes-

Varicocele

This disease is the swelling of the veins that drains the testicles. As the sperm is produced from the testicles, issues in this organ can cause a severe problem for reproduction. Though it is not proven that varicocele is responsible for male infertility but definitely, the obstruction caused by the swelling of the veins the production of the normal sperm count. Immediate medical treatment can ensure complete cure of the disease by increasing the sperm count and by using assisted reproductive techniques such Vitro fertilization.

Ejaculation problems

If semen enters the bladder during the orgasm instead of flowing to the tip of the penis then mostly it is diagnosed as retrograde ejaculation. Proper treatment is there which men can opt for. Instead of the chemicals, they have the options for natural or ayurvedic medicines as well. Various reasons are responsible for this situation such as the chronic diseases such as diabetes, surgery in the bladder, urethra or the prostate, spinal injuries etc.

Infection

Different infections whether sexually transmitted or not are responsible for the temporary infertility of men. Some infections interfere with the sperm health while some hampers the normal sperm production. In many cases, men suffering from the infections experience inflammation of the epididymis or testicles during the intercourse or even masturbating. Usually, the inflammation is mainly caused by the infection caused by the sexually transmitted infections such as HIV, gonorrhea, and so on.

Issues with Erectile Dysfunction

One of the most common issues of many men these days is the erectile dysfunction. They mainly face problem in maintaining the erection for the sufficient time during the intercourse. Men suffering from ED often end up with painful intercourse, premature ejaculation, inflammation in genitals, anatomical abnormalities like urethral opening beneath the penis, psychological problems in the relationship that is interfered with sex and so on. With proper medication and therapies, the temporary issue of erectile dysfunction can be resolved and the issue of infertility can also be cured.

Particular medications

Long-term treatment of chronic diseases such as anabolic steroid use, cancer treatment, any particular antifungal medication, Testosterone replacement therapy, treatment drugs for ulcers and even diabetes can be responsible for decreasing the sperm count in male causing to male infertility.

Previous Surgeries

Along with medications, there are a few surgeries that can interfere in producing the normal sperm count during ejaculation. Testicular surgeries, vasectomy, hernia, prostate surgeries, abdominal surgeries, surgeries for rectal cancers etc can be responsible for lowering the accurate sperm count in men. Through surgery, the issue can be cured to retrieve sperm count directly from the testicles.

Emotional stress

Emotional stress, depression or any sort of psychological issue hampers the production of the good amount of healthy sperm required to impregnate a woman. Men suffering from any work-related anxiety or emotional stress should workout or go for counseling to de-stress and feel positive. In this case, good herbal medication along with proper diet can contribute incredibility in maintaining the psychological balance of men.

Along with all these issues, men addicted to smoking tobacco or alcohol often suffer from producing a healthy sperm count needed for reproduction.

STRESS CONTROL There are many ways to tame your stress and keep it at bay. Here are 20 tips to tame your stress today, and keep the stress monsters at bay. 1. Perform diaphragmatic or deep breathing exercises. 2. Lie face down on the floor and begin breathing deeply and slowly, with your hands resting under your face. Do this for five minutes. 3. Sit in a reclining chair. Put a hand on your abdomen and a hand on your chest. As you breathe, make sure the hand on your abdomen is moving up and down rather than one on your chest. If the hand on your abdomen is moving you are breathing deeply and slowly. 4. Try progressive muscle relaxation or “deep muscle” relaxation. Progressively tense and relax each muscle group in your body. Learn the difference between muscle tension and relaxation. 5. Meditate. Use visualization or imagery to help you learn to be one with your thoughts. Sit quietly with your eyes closed, imagining the sights, sounds and smells of your favorite place, such as a beach or mountain retreat. 6. Exercise regularly or take up yoga. 7. Consult a psychologist about the use of biofeedback 8. Make time for music, art or other hobbies that help relax and distract you. 9. Learn to identify and monitor stressors. Come up with an organized plan for handling stressful situations. Be careful not to overgeneralize negative reactions to things. 10. Make a list of the important things you need to handle each day. Try to follow the list so you feel organized and on top of things. Put together a coping plan step by step so you have a sense of mastery. 11. Keep an eye on things that might suggest you’re not coping well. For example, are you smoking or drinking more, or sleeping less? 12. Keep a list of the large and little hassles in your day versus the major stressful events in your life. This helps you focus on the fact that you’re keeping track of and managing those as well as you can. 13. Set aside a time every day to work on relaxation. 14. Avoid using caffeine, alcohol, nicotine, junk food, binge eating and other drugs as your primary means for coping with stress. While they can be helpful once in awhile, using them as your only or usual method will result in longer-term problems, such as weight problems or alcoholism. 15. Learn to just say, “No” occasionally. It won’t hurt other people’s feelings as much as you think and is simply a method to be more assertive in your own life, to better help you meet your own needs. 16. Get the right amount of sleep. For most people, this is seven to nine hours a night. 17. Cultivate a sense of humor; laugh. 18. Research has shown that having a close, confiding relationship protects you from many stresses. 19. Don’t run from your problems! This only makes them worse. 20. Talk to your family and friends. See if they can help. If these tips don’t help, or you’ve tried a lot of them with little luck in better taming the stress in your life, it may be time to consider taking it up a notch. A mental health professional — such as a psychologist — can help teach you more effective methods for handling stress in a healthy way in your life. Such psychotherapy is short-term and time-limited, with a focus on helping you better deal with stress. Remember — we do have control over the stress and choices we make in our lives. It sometimes takes a little practice and effort to put some of these techniques into play in your life. Please do morning walk (brisk-walking)/ treadmill/swimming for at least 60 minutes daily. Keep moving as much as you can whenever you can. Keep meal portions small especially if they’re cooked. Limit your food intake which SHOULD be and ONLY be 4 times a day. Do never skip meals. Take a heavy breakfast. Avoid sedentary life/night watching/junk foods. The best way to burn more calories is to build muscle through resistance training. For each pound of muscle that you gain, you burn approximately 50-70 calories in addition per day (5 pounds of muscle gain equates to burning 250-350 calories a day!) That’s fantastic motivation to start a workout program. Please follow the above for next 4 weeks and revert for further treatment.

I am 25 yrs old male. I was diagnosed as spondylo arthropathy 6 yrs ago and then after 2 yrs diagnosed ankylosing spondylitis. I am having continueous lower back pain, sometimes on left side and sometimes on right. Doctor adviced me to take daily shelcal 500mg tablet. Please suggest me permanent cure.

Hi thanks for your query. As is a chronic inflammatory joint disease which has a genetic predisposition. You are best advised to get in touch of a rheumatologist as it requires a long term supervised care. Use tea tree face wash and toner twice daily. Use aha glow face wash daily use sunscreen with spf 30 daily. Use natural face pack of multani mitti and lemon 2 times a week. You can also use apple cider vinegar with mother for 5 mins after washing your face and splash it clean with water. Most important is diet- do not eat junk, eat more vegetables and fruits especially with vitamin c.

Dear, apply these methods to get rid of lots of body hairs: * give to heavy massage to all the parts with lots of hairs. Massage loose down the hair roots and hairs fall progressively fast. *make a paste by adding 1 table spoon of gram wheat (besan) and 1 table spoon of turmeric powder in luke warm water. Rub the paste on the areas where the hair growth are high to ged rid of hairs. * take a bath with hot water added with 10-15 leaves of neem regularly. * you can take laser therapy to loose extra hairs of body.

Hi, do regular exercise. Take 2 banana with warm milk in the morning and evening. Eat soaked dry grapes or dates soaked in warm milk overnight. Include protein rich food in your diet. No drink before meals. If you are non vegetarian include eggs chicken and fish in your diet. Take small and frequent meals.

Taking fruit shake with added nuts is better than just having juice, to gain weight it's is very important to eat after short intervals, include high calorie food items such as dark chocolates, nuts, desserts, shakes after very short intervals, include extra butter, desi ghee jn your main meals and to gain weight digestion system should be good, taking amla murabba in the morning will keep your digestive system strong which helps you to gain weight.

Us easthma controller medication by inhalation with spacer. Better consult a dermatologist for eczema. Have plenty of fluids and avoid dust, cold, pollution and allergens.

Hello, Due to night sift you are distressed as your sleep is disturbed affecting your digestive system to cause headache & fever. Go for meditation to reduce your stress to nourish your nerves.
