It is sympathetic or bodily phenomena. Some persons have profuse seating. There is no drug for that. In allopathy. Drink plenty liquids. Use talcum powder, and deodorants.

Mr. Lybrate-user, by saying thyroid 15.04 are you referring to tsh level? if so it is very high. On treatment it should be around 3 to 4 milli units. As for vitamin d, best source is to get exposed to early morning sun. There are vitamin d3 supplements available, they can be used. More importantly your hypothyroidism needs to be checked properly. Thanks for the question.

From past few months, I am urinating a lot, sometimes it causes burning sensation too, and pain in lower abdomen too,...
It could be due to urinary tract infection 1. Do urine re/me, culture&sensitivity. 2. Consult physician with report for advice and treatment 3. Take a full course of antibiotic even if you feel better, 4. Drink plenty of water (8-10 glass daily) 5. Take pain reliever (anti spasmodic), 6. Avoid coffee//spicy food which irritates bladder.

Hi, to avoid any type of side-effects, you can think of taking homoeoapthic medicine which is very effective and even doesn't has any side -effects too! there are two types of insomnia: primary insomnia and secondary insomnia. Primary insomnia: primary insomnia means that a person is having sleep problems that are not directly associated with any other health condition or problem. Secondary insomnia: secondary insomnia means that a person is having sleep problems because of something else, such as a health condition (like asthma, depression, arthritis, cancer, or heartburn); pain; medication they are taking; or a substance they are using (like alcohol). Sleep plays a vital role in good health and well-being throughout your life. Getting enough quality sleep at the right times can help protect your mental health, physical health, quality of life, and safety. In children and teens, sleep also helps support growth and development. The damage from sleep deficiency can occur in an instant (such as a car crash), or it can harm you over time. For example, ongoing sleep deficiency can raise your risk for some chronic health problems. It also can affect how well you think, react, work, learn, and get along with others. In your case, need to know the exact cause of sleeplessness. Management: here are five tips everyone can use to help improve the quality of their sleep: keep your bedroom cool and dark put away/turn off all electronic devices while preparing for bedtime stick to a regular bedtime and wake time every day, even on weekends stop drinking caffeine by the early afternoon and avoid large late-night meals skip the late-afternoon nap, as it can make it harder to sleep at bedtime avoid taking unnecessary stress/ tension. Do regular exercise. Go for a brisk walk in the morning. Medication: take schwabe's bacopa monierri 1x/ thrice daily and kali phos./ once daily at night for 1 month.

HIV negative doesn't mean you are negative for all other STDs. P24 is one but important antigen. However in HIV-2 infection there is no p24 Antigen. So better to test again at 3 months on Spot or ELISA for HIV 1 and 2.

Don't Like Studying Maths - Is Your Child Suffering From Dyscalculia?

Don't Like Studying Maths - Is Your Child Suffering From Dyscalculia?

At a young age, it is fairly common to be afraid of math. The rational nature of numbers, multiplication tables, addition, subtraction and all that in between can admittedly be a tough thing to get on with at a tender age. But in most of the cases, this difficulty tends to improve as one attains maturity. This can be attributed to a growing familiarity with the subject and a subsequent change in the way of understanding certain things. But if your child suffers from a problem with understanding math even at a grown age, chances are he/she might be suffering from Dyscalculia- a special type of learning disorder that is characterized by a person’s inability to grasp the concepts of math or the very concept of numbers itself.

Dyscalculia generally occurs due to genetic factors. However, it is also possible to encounter this disorder if your child had suffered from significant brain injury in the past or have problems with remembering things. It is also possible to have this disorder, if your child is already suffering from Dyslexia ( a learning disorder which makes your child unable to read or understand written words).

The symptoms of Dyscalculia are as follows:

  1. Inability to recognize numbers and significant trouble while counting.
  2. Significant problems while performing basic additions, subtractions or divisions.
  3. Facing problems with how to use money or telling time.
  4. The problem with memorizing mathematical formulae or tables.
  5. Your child might be unable to discern exactly how to approach a math problem.
  6. Your child will be increasingly reluctant to go to a math class or feel tensed before math examinations.
  7. Inability to understand the basic functionality of numbers.

It is extremely important to remember that having this disorder does not necessarily mean your child has a bad academic record on the whole. Since this disorder can cause significant problems in the future for your child in terms of dealing with things in the real world, you should be extremely sensitive regarding its treatment.

The treatment of Dyscalculia might include:

  1. You should encourage your child more and more if they tend to get immensely frustrated with their math problems. If possible, try to help your child with his/ her homework.
  2. Strike a healthy relationship with your child. Make him realize that not being able to grasp the concept of numbers is not the end of the world. Explore his other skills. That might boost his lost confidence and might encourage him to approach math in a more efficient manner.
  3. You should try to make your child learn how to tell time or use money with little home exercises. If possible, try to make him learn the basic of math with daily activities like counting the number of flowers while walking down the streets.
  4. You must consult a specialist who will make your child learn numbers by following different modes other than writing. For example, the specialist might read a math problem to your child in order to make him understand the problem.

In case you have a concern or query you can always consult an expert & get answers to your questions!
