There is no need to relate the health of the pregnancy to severity of your symptoms on a day to day basis. These are subjective phenomena which differ from person to person and from one pregnancy to the next. The only worrisome problems in your case would be lower abdominal pain or bleeding or brownish vaginal discharge. In absence of these, you may wait for 2 weeks whilst taking prescribed medication.

Pregnancy is possible only on one day of cycle, day of ovulation when ovum is released from ovary of woman. That is why couple should have 12 to 24 cycles of unprotected sex around time of ovulation before going to Gynecologist or infertility specialist for further evaluation and advise. High protein diet, Omega-3, all vitamins & minerals, calcium are required by all more so during pregnancy. Yes Fol123. Some vaccinations also so meet obstetrician.

Quantitative and qualitative changes in diet and regular exercise can keep the blood sugar at lower levels and may help in reducing the need for medicines, or use them in lesser doses.

Small frequent meals in place of 2 regular meals at lunch and dinner helps in preventing a rise in post-meal sugar levels to high levels. Qualitatively stopping the use of direct sugar and food items containing carbohydrates like rice, potatoes, mangoes, grapes etc prevents high sugar levels.

Regular walking briskly keeps weight in control and prevents obesity. Increased weight increases insulin requirement and a relative deficiency of insulin leads to high sugar levels.

Diabetes causes silent damage to blood vessels in kidneys, retina, heart, brain and all over the body. Ultimately the effects are seen as kidney failure, blindness, heart attacks, paralysis and nonhealing ulcers and gangrene. Severe diabetes may cause ketoacidosis, coma, and death.

Hence, it is wise to be careful with diet and exercise.

Your urine test report is ok, some pus cells are there, but they could be due to contamination. During pregnancy the uterus gets enlarged and and urinary bladder lies just in front of this pregnancy bearing uterus, due to excess blood flow and pressure of the pregnant uterus, the pregnant woman tends to go for urination more frequently. Also colour of the urine could be influenced by colour of the medicines which are given during pregnancy like folic acid, doxylamine etc. If you were to have infection, then the burning sensation while passing urine would have persisted and you would have got some chills or shivering along with high grade fever. The best way to look for infection is to do culture of the urine and see what organisms grow in it. If that too is negative, just ignore the reports given by you. Drink plenty of water or fluids like coconut water, juices, etc almost upto 2-3 liters per day this will reduce the burning sensation if it is still present.

As this has happened for the first time or is occurring less commonly there is no need to worry and no treatment needed. It happens because of temporary hormonal change or stress or weight gain.

Hi , that's right if you had unprotected intercourse & don't want pregnancy also, she has to take unwanted 72 but make sure it's only for emergency, don't make it routine. It causes hormonal disturbances so it's better to choose suitable contraceptive.

Diabetes - 3 Myths Decoded!

Diabetes - 3 Myths Decoded!

Diabetes is something which has become so common over the past few decades and this is said to be a cause of worry as most people don't understand how to prevent and manage it. This has led to some myths, gaining more than their fair share of popularity. So, wouldn’t it be a good idea to get to know a little more so as to separate the myths from the facts?

  1. Weight & watch: One of the most common myths when it comes to diabetes is the belief that a person is going to have his or her life adversely affected if he or she is overweight. While it is true that being overweight happens to be one of the risk factors related to diabetes, it is important to keep in mind the fact that there are other risk factors which are responsible, as well. Some of these factors are age and family history, as well as the ethnicity of the person. Taking this into account, it should not come as too much of a surprise to know that there are quite a few people who are not overweight, but are still fighting diabetes.
  2. Packaged tricks: Considering the rise in the number of people who are suffering from diabetes, this has led to food being marketed specifically for their consumption. However, in reality, whatever represents a healthy diet is sufficient for a person who is diabetic. So a diet which does not have a high amount of saturated fats and trans fats and does not go overboard with starch and sugar, but features a fair amount of lean protein works well too. All the fancy diabetic food, which a person buys, is only likely to drive a great hole in the wallet and not have any additional health benefits. Therefore, the extra spending is nowhere close to being worthwhile and should be avoided.
  3. Fruits punch: Many people are of the opinion that it is the processed and sugary food items, which cause diabetes and this is true to a significant extent. However, some people are of the view that since fruit is natural, diabetics can eat as much of it as they like. This is where the thinking gets dangerous. Some fruits are rich in carbohydrates and so it should be consumed in a reasonable quantity, as part of the daily meal plan. After all, too much of any good thing is bad! If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult an endocrinologist.

Dear lybrate-user, one miscarriage usually has no effect on next pregnancy. But your doctor would like to add some medicines and injections in the begining. From your side, eat well so you do not have fever or fall sick. Avoid any activity which makes you uncomfortable physically.

If you and your partner have been having unprotected sexual intercourse for over a year and are still not able to conceive a baby, chances are that either one of you has a problem relating to fertility. There may be several causes behind this problem. In men, a low sperm count is one of the primary reasons for infertility. In women, a blockage in the fallopian tubes, uterine fibroids or cysts in the ovaries could be the cause of infertility. Also, as a woman enters her 30s, her reproductive system starts showing signs of ageing and produces lesser hormones and eggs, this could cause difficulty in conceiving. There are several sophisticated medical procedures for helping infertile couples conceive, such as artificial insemination, invitrio fertilization and test tube babies. Though the exact nature of the problem and the best way of dealing with it can be determined only by a doctor, there are a few basic rules that you should follow to increase your chances of conceiving naturally. Make sure you have sex while you are ovulating during the menstrual cycle. Using an ovulation predictor test kit to determine exactly when you start ovulating is a good idea. .

Homeopathic Treatment for Cancer

One of the most dreaded diseases of all times, Cancer has often been presumed to be incurable by a lot of people. Unfortunately Cancer driven deaths have grown in number, significantly over the past few years. Despite the fact that medical science has made substantive progress in the realm of cancer research, the mortality rate continues to be fairly high. Consequently, a lot of people have been seeking alternative therapies. Homeopathy is one such avenue that many would vouch for. The treatment of Cancer can be quite successful with Homeopathy, often in conjunction with allopathic medicine in advanced cases.

In early stages, particularly with breast and prostate, the success rate is close to 80% with compliance by the patient. Homeopaths often approach cancer treatment by combining homeopathic remedies. Certain approaches aim at terminating the tumors while others attempt to heal the eliminative organs of the patient as well their entire constitution. Although there has been a fair number of effective cases, homeopathy still has not emerged as a stand-alone remedy for cancer. Because much of success with homeopathy, however depends on the skill level of homeopath and resources of patient to heal on all levels.

There are two ways of treating any CANCER through Homeopathy treatment -

One is by giving medicine after considering particular symptoms and pathology report, which will give temporary relief. Generally this type prescription is given for treating Acute or Advanced Cancer conditions. Most frequently recommended medicines for cancer are Arsenic Album, Hydrastis, Condurango, Conium, Belladonna, Vinca minor, Taxus baccata etc.

Second is giving the medicine for the entire constitution or personality (Holistic treatment) that means giving the medicine by considering mental, physical, emotional as well as social state of the patient to cure the primary cancers completely. Here, they consider the cause of diseases, modalities of symptoms, Back ground Miasm of the patient etc.

Risks and complications:

Homeopathic remedies are extremely safe and they have no harmful side effects. Homeopathic treatments can prove to be harmful if they are taken up by excluding other necessary therapies or diagnostic tests. To avoid such complications, it is advisable to consult a homeopathic practitioner who can discern between merging symptoms and symptoms related to your healing process.
