Pus coming from ear is Otitis. You need to clean the ears thoroughly with hydrogen peroxide and ear cleaners. If it's severe, you need to take a course of antibiotics for a week or so. Ear drops need to be instilled three to four times daily.

Good morning all, I have pug of 1 year, now days he is not eating much food. His epetite seems to be reduced, just need to confirm is it normal or should I take any steps. Kindly help. Thank you, Achal

MVSc, BVSc
Veterinarian,
Hi. Reduced appetite may be considered normal as long as his activities, water intake, urination, stools remain normal. Appetite does reduce during summers. Check if he prefers to eat during cooler hours of the day. Check if he's overdue for deworming. Hope this is helpful.

I have two budgies of 3 nd 5 months. One of them is constantly going through lose motion. And bcums lethargic. Also from few days they are making a kind of choking sound and also seem troubled. Kind of dnt know what to do?

You will have to take them to a veterinarian doctor for a clinical checkup and For loos emotions drink ors solution and to stop the frequency of motions take capsule roko and Avoid spicy food in diet and eat only curd rice or khichdi and if necessary we should take prescribed antibiotics.

My cat gave birth 4 times in last year, so I want to know that is there any non surgical procedure for controlling the birth cycle.

MVSc
Veterinarian, Jammu
Non surgical method include administration of progestrone but that will cause hypertrophy of endometrium so if you planning go fr surgical method only.

I have a black rabbit and he's 2 years old, my question is how can I help him wid his loose motions.

M.V.Sc. & PhD Scholar Veterinary Medicine
Veterinarian, Navi Mumbai
Please provide lacto bacillus powder (sporolac sachets) in his diet. You can add it in water or can feed directly also. Don't give any oral antibiotics as these may aggravate the condition. Thank you.
