Which fruit drink controls body pains and improves blood count and its circulation to reduce fatigue.
Natural fruit juices are as healthy as fruits. But always avoid sweetened and artificial flavoured fruit juices available in the market as these can cause weight gain and even diabetes in the long run. Fruit as such is best because it also provides much needed fibre content in the diet which helps with digestion and proper evacuation of the bowel.

Dear memory and mind power consists of understanding, storing and recollection of information you learn. Understanding depends on concentration. The more creative you are on doing tasks or reading, the more you understand. Storage and recollection depends on your understanding and how well you review what you have learned. Repetition and review of material learned and other tasks provides easy recollection. You can improve your concentration and total brain power with the help of green leafy vegetables, exercise, creative activities, number puzzles like sudoku etc. Hard work is the key to learning and recollection. Post a private question to me and I shall provide you more tips. Take care.

Hi I am a student of engineering college. I am 19 years old. When I read I am not able to concentrate on study. please suggest me so that I may concentrate on study and I may study well plzz.

C.S.C, D.C.H, M.B.B.S
General Physician,
I shall give you study tips and concentration tips. 10 Study Tips to Improve Your Learning Study Tip 1: Underlining Underlining is one of the simplest and best known study tips. It’s easy to highlight the most significant parts of what you’re reading. One key sentence per paragraph and a few important phrases here and there. You can only retain a certain amount so it’s best to retain the most important information. Study Tip 2: Make your own note and taking notes is one of the most widespread study skills out there. Essentially the aim of note-taking is to summarise lectures or articles in your own words so you can easily remember the ideas. Study Tip 3: Mind mapping A good Mind map can save you many hours of study and further consolidate your knowledge for your exams. Mind Maps are an extremely versatile tools. They can be used for brainstorming, outlining essays or study topics and for general exam preparation, ExamTime offers the ability to create Mind Maps quickly and easily which makes them the ideal tool when it comes to exams. Study Tip 4: Flash cards:- Using these are a particularly effective method of learning when trying to assimilate different facts, dates, formulas or vocabulary. Subjects such as History, Physics, Maths, Chemistry, Geography or any language are made much easier if you incorporate Flashcards in to your study. Study Tip 5: Case Studies Sometimes it can be difficult to grasp the implications of some theories. This is where studying case studies can be a big help. Case studies can help you visualise a theory and place it in a more familiar and realistic context. This is especially useful in business or law subjects. Study Tip 6: Quizzes are an excellent way to review study notes in the weeks and days before an exam. Quizzes can show where your strengths and weaknesses are, so it allows you to focus your efforts more precisely. Moreover, if you share your Study Quiz with your classmates and test each other as much as possible you can discover even more details and areas you may have overlooked. So before any exam, make sure you create and share a bunch of different Quizzes with your Friends. Study Tip 7: Brainstorming This is another study technique that is ideal for studying with friends and/or classmates. Brainstorming is a great way to expand every possible idea out of any topic. Just get a bunch of friends together and shoot the breeze, there are no wrong answers when brainstorming – just talk and capture the ideas, you can review afterward. Study Tip 8: Mnemonic Rules Mnemonics are especially useful when memorising lists and sets. Mnemonics rules basically work by associating certain concepts with other concepts that are more familiar to us. There are many different ways to make mnemonics and these can be individual to the person. Study Tip 9: ORGANISE your study One of the most effective study skills is also one of the most often overlooked; this is organising your study. Creating a TIME TABLE gives you goals and a time in which to achieve them. Having a study timetable as you study is greatly motivational Study Tip 10: Drawing Many people find it easier to recall images rather than text that is why they are better able to memorise concepts if they associate them with pictures or drawings. If you find answer helpful please click on “helpful” tab for knowing my efforts are useful CONCENTRATION TIPS Here’s some tips to get into a state of deep concentration where work / or studies flow easily so that you can do well in examinations/ and or do your work well. 1) Cut Off the Noise Getting into a state of concentration can take at least fifteen minutes. If you are getting distracted every five, you can’t possibly focus entirely on your work. Request that people don’t interrupt you when working on a big project. If you are required to answer phones and drop-in’s immediately, schedule work when the office is less busy. 2) Structure Your Environment The place you work can have an impact on your ability to focus. Try to locate yourself so you are facing potential distractions such as doors, phones or windows. This way you can take a glance to assess sounds that would otherwise break your focus. 3) Clarify Objectives Know what your goal is clearly before you start. If you aren’t sure what the end result is, the confusion will make it impossible to focus. 4) Divide Blobs. If you have a large project that needs work, clearly identify a path that you will use to get started working on it. If the sequence of actions isn’t obvious, it will be difficult to concentrate. Taking a few minutes to plan not only your end result, but the order you will complete any steps, can save hours in wasted thinking. 5) Know the Rules Get clear on what the guidelines are for the task ahead. What level of quality do you need? What standards do you need to follow? What constraints are there? If the rules aren’t clear from the outset, you will slip out of concentration as you ponder them later. 6) Set a Deadline Deadlines have both advantages and disadvantages when trying to force concentration. A deadline can make it easier to forget the non-essential and speed up your working time. If you give yourself only an hour to design a logo, you will keep it simple and avoid fiddling with extravagant designs. Time limits have disadvantages when they cause you to worry about the time you have left instead of the task itself. 7) Break down Roadblocks Roadblocks occur whenever you hit a tricky problem in your work. This can happen when you run out of ideas or your focus wavers. Break down roadblocks by brainstorming or planning on a piece of paper. Writing out your thought processes can keep you focused even if you might become frustrated. 8) Isolate Yourself Become a hermit and stay away from other people if you want to get work done. Unless your work is based on other people they will only break your focus. Create a private space and refuse to talk to anyone until your work is finished. Put a sign on your door to steer away drop-ins and don’t answer your phone. 9) Healthy Body, Sharper Mind What you put into your body affects the way you concentrate. Nobody would expect peak performance if they showed up drunk to work. But if you allow yourself to get chronic sleep deprivation, overuse stimulants like caffeine or eat dense, fatty foods your concentration will suffer. Try to cut out one of your unhealthy habits for just thirty days to see if there is a difference in your energy levels. I’ve found even small steps can create dramatic changes in my ability to focus. 10) Be Patient Before I write an article, I often sit at my desk for a fifteen or twenty minutes before I put finger on the keyboard. During this time I feel a strong urge to leave or do something else. But I know that if I am patient, I’ll stumble upon an idea to write about and enter a state of flow. Without a little patience, you can’t take advantage of flow when it rushed through you. If you need strong concentration I recommend periods of 90-120 minutes. Any less than that and you will waste too much time getting started before the flow can continue. More than this is possible to sustain focus, but you will probably benefit from a quick break. These are the general guidelines for concentration, studying well or doing your job. Regards.

why you want to rely on homeopathy and ayurveda for preventing relapse of depression, is it because they claim no side effects. A molecule which provides desired antidepressant effect logically may produce undesirable effect in other cells. So the claims are false. After treatment of depression, better continue allopathic antidepressants in appropriate dose to prevent relapse. All the best

Study with a calm & relaxed mind. Try to enjoy your studies & stay positive. Do not take your studies as a stress. Take the following measures to study better: •Study daily from the start of your academic session •Revise your lessons regularly. •Group studies & group discussions are also helpful. •Do not try to memorize blindly. Try to understand your lessons. •Write down the main points & form mnemonics from them. Mnemonic devices are techniques which help to remember something. It’s a simple shortcut that helps us associate the information we want to remember with an image, a sentence, or a word. •Have a plan to manage your time of study. Make a routine for studying. Study for 30-45 minutes & then take 5-10 mins break. •Be confident of yourself & do not compare yourself with others. •If you feel stressed while studying, talk to someone, listen to some music or do something that relax you. •Expect exam outcomes rationally & what is within your capability. Impractical & over expectation that is beyond one’s capability brings in fear & frustration. •Just focus on giving your best effort. •Take your class time seriously by taking notes summarizing what your teacher has said. •Every morning relax yourself adequately before you sit for studies; go for a walk, spend some time with nature, go for a walk, do yoga, breathing exercise or relaxation techniques. •Have adequate sleep. •Explore your own talents & feel good about yourself. •Set goals which are realistic & within your capability & try to pursue them. •Stay away from substance of abuse like alcohol, cannabis, inhalants, drugs etc. •Enhance your coping skills & problem solving skills. •Spend time with friends, family members or well wishers with whom you feel comfortable & positive. •Practice deep breathing & relaxation exercises •Eat healthy food & reduce caffeine, tea, cola, and chocolate consumption. Put your best effort in your studies. All the best. For the headache, get your eye check up done & if headache persist consult a Neurologist & get detailed evaluation done.

Take longer time to consume alcohol, keep longer space between two sips. 3. Cut down one cigarette per week. 4. Avoid smoking till the very end of the bud; throw away mid-way. 5. Avoiding meeting people or social situations that compel you to consume alcohol and smokes. If you still face issues with quitting, seek out for a counselor. 5 Warning Signs of Violence in a Relationship

Ph. D - Psychology, Psychology
Psychologist, Delhi
5 Warning Signs of Violence in a Relationship

Relationships are either delicate or strong, depending upon the bonding you share with your partner. The bonding depends on various factors. Some of the most essential ones being emotional attachment, friendliness, sense of ease, mental compatibility and a feeling of sustained emotional support from the relationship. This is applicable to all relationships; be it a relationship with your spouse, a parental relation with your children, a relationship with your friends, relatives, etc.

However, it is a common factor that every relationship requires a definite level of friendship, understanding and trust to sustain. However, sometimes you may find eventual signs of distance or detachment, which could be signals of potential violence in the relationship.

  1. Sense of complete possession: This is a vital factor that intricately works behind initiating violence in relationships. Possessiveness is a form of extreme emotional condition. A sense of possessiveness lies in every relation. However, over possessiveness leads you to restrict your loved one to share his love with anyone else. It can even be severe when you may even dislike your loved one talking to anyone else. Therefore, it may lead to eventual abuse or violence in the relationship.
  2. Distrust: Trust and belief are essential elements in any relation. If you tend to lose trust on someone, you can hardly be normal in the relationship. Disbelief results in doubt and continued doubt and resistance lead you to react violently. If you constantly disbelief a person, you are ought to react out of your general personality sometime.
  3. Abuse: Use of abusive language may be a strong indication of emerging distance in a relation. A person indulges in using abusive language out of anger and frustration, both of which could be major signals of potential violence in the near future. Both abusive language and physical violence are considered as forms of violence. Therefore, initial signs of abuses should be considered immediately.
  4. Dominance: In every relationship where two persons are involved, you will usually find any one of them to be dominant. However, that is acceptable until the dominance is within a certain limit. However, if it crosses the limits of patience and acceptability, it may sometimes result in violence.
  5. Short temper Attitude: If any one of the involved persons in the relationship is short tempered, it will definitely be a lead reason of miscommunication or insufficient communication. Short tempered individuals are mostly characterised with low patience. If you do not have patience, you can never offer understanding. And above that, short-tempered attitude can be an additional disadvantage. These types of individuals fail to control their anxiety and can often be violent in relationships. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a doctor.

You must be very careful because your stress will be felt by the unborn child biochemically. You are in fact responsible for the health of two of you: yourself and your child. You must be kept in the best of emotional and psychological health apart from the physical fitness. If you can take your husband for counseling to your gynecologist she will explain all this to him. Even if he does not listen to her then talk to his parents and have them intervene. You yourself can also go for counseling to a clinical counselor and that person will help you handle your emotions especially the feelings of anger. You must be emotionally well balanced and always in good composure. Please do not neglect this state of yours under any circumstances. Somebody out there is in a position to help you by talking to your husband.
