Sir I am in critical problem due to constipation. What is the reason of constipation? How it will be good?

Sir I am in critical problem due to constipation. What is the reason of constipation? How it will be good?
Hi, Some causes of constipation include: Antacid medicines containing calcium or aluminum Changes in your usual diet or activities Colon cancer Eating a lot of dairy products. Eating disorders Irritable bowel syndrome Neurological conditions such as Parkinson's disease or multiple sclerosis Not being active Not enough water or fiber in your diet Overuse of laxatives (Over time, this weakens the bowel muscles) Pregnancy Problems with the nerves and muscles in the digestive system Resisting the urge to have a bowel movement, which some people do because of hemorrhoids Some medications (especially strong pain drugs such as narcotics, antidepressants, or iron pills) Stress Under active thyroid (hypothyroidism) Management: Try these steps: Drink two to four extra glasses of water a day (unless your doctor told you to limit fluids for another health reason). Try warm liquids, especially in the morning. Add fruits and vegetables to your diet. Eat prunes and bran cereal. Isabgol, also known as" psyllium husk, is a common health supplement used to treat constipation, other digestive problems, and a few non-digestive problems. It contains 70 percent soluble fiber and, as a result, acts as a bulk-forming laxative. The effectiveness of isabgol largely depends on your individual health needs and the manner in which you take it. Usually, you will need to take 1 to 2 tsp (5 to 10 ml) of isabgol with 1 cup of water (240 ml) or fluid daily at night until your constipation passes. The exact dosage may vary depending on age, medical condition, and response to treatment, however. Eat a well-balanced diet with plenty of fiber. Good sources of fiber are fruits, vegetables, legumes, and whole-grain bread and cereal (especially bran). Drink 1 1/2 to 2 quarts of water and other fluids a day (unless your doctor has you on a fluid-restricted diet). Fiber and water work together to keep you regular. Avoid caffeine. It can be dehydrating. Check on milk. Some people may need to avoid it because dairy products may be constipating for them. Exercise regularly. Go to the bathroom when you feel the urge. Medication: Take Schwabe’s Biocombination-4/ thrice daily for 4 weeks.

There is nothing to get depressed about this. You probably have a wandering eye with an active imagination and therefore you are getting sexually aroused with another woman. Perhaps your marriage is going through what used to be called a 7-year itch and it is getting a bit stale and not as exciting as before. Even the sexual act may be a routine affair and does not get your mojo going. Also, your spouse may be losing her sexual appeal for various reasons and this is also, therefore, losing your attraction towards her. You will need to either accept all this and make good with what you have or the both of you need to introduce other exciting ways to stimulate your marriage to make it more satiating. You sound like you are overweight and this can be a contributor too. So some exercise will do you good and your hunger for sex will be aroused enough to want it with your spouse itself.

My dad is 49 years old, while shifting he might got stepped somewhere, after that he is telling pain in knee, we even took xera, no damage to bone, we are applying the oil too, but it's not curing, but pain is not going, it's sounding when he get up and sit.

If his knee is paining since 2 weeks, then you have to rethink whether you had any injury in the previous years. I also advise you to use knee cap which would help to prevent the knee from damaging further and also to maintain the quadriceps muscle tone. As arthritis is very common if anyone would've neglected any injury in the previous years. You can take Ultrasonic therapy in one of the nearby physiotherapy clinics which would help to heal the damaged cartilages along with shortwave diathermy which would help to improve the blood circulation. Ice therapy would definitely help to reduce the inflammation. It looks like you are anaemic. If you have back pain after you sit for long hours then it is due to your haemoglobin levels as it is important to check that. Anaemia always leads to the symptoms of being tired and also having back / leg pain though there may not be any pathological reasons for back pain. The lower end of the vertebral column is inflamed and that bone is called coccyx bone and the condition is called Coccydynia. The conservative management would be to keep ice in that inflamed area during one time in a day and also to sit in a hot water bowl where the penetration of the heat would help to reduce the inflammation. And to reduce the weight falling on the inflammed surface we suggest patients to use air cushion pillow (also called as doughnut pillow) where in the buttock's weight will not fall exactly on the painful tail bone and that would automatically reduce the pain.

What Is Anemia ?

What Is Anemia ?

WHAT IS ANEMIA :

Anemia is a condition in which you don't have enough healthy red blood cells to carry adequate oxygen to the body's tissues. Having anemia may make you feel tired and weak.
There are many forms of anemia, each with its own cause. Anemia can be temporary or long term, and it can range from mild to severe. See your doctor if you suspect you have anemia because it can be a warning sign of serious illness.

TYPES OF ANEMIA :

Iron deficiency anemia
Thalassaemia
Aplastic anemia
Haemolytic anemia
Sickle cell anemia
Pernicious anemia
Fanconi anemia

Symptoms :

Anemia signs and symptoms vary depending on the cause of your anemia. They may include:
Fatigue
Weakness
Pale or yellowish skin
Irregular heartbeats
Shortness of breath
Dizziness or lightheadedness
Chest pain
Cold hands and feet
Headache
At first anemia can be so mild that it goes unnoticed. But symptoms worsen as anemia worsens.

Causes :

Anemia occurs when your blood doesn't have enough red blood cells. This can happen if:
Your body doesn't make enough red blood cells
Bleeding causes you to lose red blood cells more quickly than they can be replaced
Your body destroys red blood cells

Diagnosis :

To diagnose anemia, your doctor may ask you about your medical and family history, perform a physical exam, and run the following tests:
Complete blood count (CBC). A CBC is used to count the number of blood cells in a sample of your blood. For anemia your doctor will be interested in the levels of the red blood cells contained in the blood (hematocrit) and the hemoglobin in your blood.
Normal adult hematocrit values vary from one medical practice to another but are generally between 40 and 52 percent for men and 35 and 47 percent for women. Normal adult hemoglobin values are generally 14 to 18 grams per deciliter for men and 12 to 16 grams per deciliter for women.
A test to determine the size and shape of your red blood cells. Some of your red blood cells may also be examined for unusual size, shape and color.
Additional diagnostic tests
If you receive a diagnosis of anemia, your doctor may order additional tests to determine the underlying cause. For example, iron deficiency anemia can result from chronic bleeding of ulcers, benign polyps in the colon, colon cancer, tumors or kidney problems.
Occasionally, it may be necessary to study a sample of your bone marrow to diagnose anemia.

Eating the right foods :

1. Increase Iron Rich Food:
It is seen that those who suffer from iron deficiency usually exhibit the symptoms of anemia. You could take up:
Food that is rich in iron content
Vitamin supplements
These steps will ensure that you step up the iron content in the body which is the main element needed to produce hemoglobin

2. Fruits:
Apples are rich in micro nutrients including iron. Thus, if you are anemic you need to intake:
Fruits of different kinds
Consume more than one apple a day
Consume Citrus Fruits. It is necessary to have citrus fruits which increase the iron content in the body and the absorption of the micro nutrient.
Have at least more than one citrus fruit a day
Choose between limes, lemons and other fruits
Try Figs
Figs are seen to be excellent remedy for anemia
One should consume three to four figs daily in order to combat anemia
Try Bananas It is important to incorporate bananas in one’s diet.
It is known to be a good source of magnesium
Banana combined with honey will surely help one to step up the necessary salt content for increasing hemoglobin in the blood.

3. Honey:
Honey is known to be an excellent source of cure for anemia.
A concoction of honey, lemon juice and apple cider vinegar will prove to be ideal to combat the anemic conditions
Such a mixture is known to be a powerful antioxidant and will help to address general health issues as well. It is necessary to increase honey intake as it is beneficial for an anemic person. It is rich in iron, manganese and copper. These micro nutrients are known for their necessity to step up the hemoglobin content in the bloodstream

4. Beetroot Juice:
It is imperative that one know the vegetables that are rich in iron content.• Beetroot is one such vegetable which is beneficial for those who have low iron content and suffer from anemia• Beetroot can be had as a cooked vegetable or in the form of beetroot juice which is more effective

5. Currants In The Morning:
One could soak currant and consume them to feel the benefits. About ten currants should be soaked overnight. The seeds should be removed. They should be eaten first thing in the morning.
This should be done for a period of three to four weeks

6. Increase Red Colored Fruits And Veggies In Your Diet:
The red colored fruits as well as vegetables contain the necessary vitamins which will enrich the blood of hemoglobin and reduce anemia.
Have apples
Use tomatoes in your diet
Consume beetroot as vegetable or in juice form

7. Consume Green And Leafy Vegetables:
One should consume green and leafy vegetables as that helps to step up the level of micro nutrients in the body.
Increase iron content
Increase salt content

8. Vitamin B12:
It is seen that anemic patients are usually low on their vitamin B12 content. This can be increased by:
Consuming fruits and food items rich in such a micro nutrient
Taking up supplements rich in this complex micro nutrient

9. Avoid Caffeinated Drinks:
It is best to avoid coffee as the caffeine increases the heart rate and might not be ideal for anemic patients. Try and consume decaf version. Limit the number of cups of coffee consumed.
10. Stay Active:
The more active one stays the more the capability of the blood to circulate and keep one healthy. Regular exercises should be done. Strength training will increase muscle mass and help keep up strength and keep away fatigue.

Watch your weight. If you are obese then try to lose weight by regular exercise. Eat fresh fruit, vegetables, whole wheat products and some pulses (high in purine) every day. Enjoy low-fat milk and dairy products daily. Keep an eye on the purine content of food. Avoid offal, shellfish and crustaceans and tinned fish such as sardines in oil. Uric acid diet should be relatively high in carbohydrates, moderate in protein and low in fat. Complex carbohydrates like whole grain cereals, fruits and vegetables contain fiber that can help in proper digestion of the foods and assimilation of the nutrients. Eat no more than 100 gm of meat, sausages, fish and poultry a day. Say no to alcohol and sweetened cold drinks. Fresh fruits like apples, bananas, oranges and lime are beneficial. Black cherries are considered to be beneficial in reducing uric acid levels. Drink at least two liters of low-calorie fluids a day. Recommended fluids are water, tea and fruit juice. Please note that normal uric acid levels in our body. Men 3.5 to 7.0 mg/dl, women 2.5 to 5.7 mg/dl.
