I am suffering from acidity, anxiety, constipation and blood disorder (polythicemia vera). I took treatment of well known Ayurveda Doctor. Now after one year I am feeling better but my body got Toxic. Lead level is very high in my blood now. Why this happened? Allopathic doctor says it's because of Bhasma (metals) used in medicines. What should I do? Continue treatment or stop?

MD - Ayurveda, Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery (BAMS)
Ayurveda, Lucknow
it depend upon your doctor which medicine is prescribed to you some preparation of lead is used in ayurveda but if those medicine is reputed pharmaceuticals then no issue of toxicity, for your problem their is no needs to take any type of lead bhasm only some calcium preparation like praval panchamrita is recomended, otherwise you may consult your doctor and told about this ....

Have you consulted a surgeon? plenty of liquids. High fiber diet, warm sitz baths, pain relieving jelly, anal sphincter relaxing ointments, stool softener, analgesic, use of anal dilator. Or finally surgery is required. Consult a surgeon immediately.

Hlo sir madam I have acidity prblm .that's why in my stomach for few minute very high pain please tell me some treatment.

Homeopath, Sindhudurg
Acidity refers to a burning pain in the upper abdominal and chest area. This condition is medically called as Heartburn. It is not uncommon for people to have heartburn episodes but if these attacks occur very frequently they indicate a disorder called as GERD (Gastro Esophageal Reflux Disease). This is also called as acid reflux disease. Although many people are able to manage heartburn with lifestyle changes but for those who do not respond and frequently suffer from it, homeopathic medicines can be of great help in curing this disease.consult me by clicking on consult option for homoepathic treatment without side effects.

I am diagnosed with anal stenosis. I feel pain during bowel movement. Is there any surgery to cure it? Pls reply

General Physician, Nashik
Mild stenosis can be managed conservatively with stool softeners or fiber supplements. Sphincterotomy may be quite adequate for a patient with a mild degree of narrowing. For more severe stenosis, a formal anoplasty should be performed to treat the loss of anal canal tissue.

I heard symptoms of gluten intolerance and I noticed all in me . Can any one tell me whats that and is this serious issue.

General Physician, Delhi
Gluten sensitivity or intolerance is a condition that causes a person to react after ingesting gluten, a protein found in wheat, barley and rye. The only treatment for gluten intolerance is following a gluten-free diet, which excludes all wheat, barley, rye

I had blood in stool few times. It is not appearing continuously. 3 or 4 times in a month. While this is happens my stomach goes worse and I feel digestion problem.

Cause of blood in stools must be evaluated before thinking of treatment. So please get examined by a general surgeon. However, anal problems improve with general measures but may require surgery. The general measures I would suggest are 1. Take lot of vegetables & fruits in your diet 2. Avoid chillies & spices 3. Take lot of fluids 4. Avoid constipation 5 periodically do anal exercises (alternately contracting & relaxing the buttocks, anal area & upper thighs) 6. Take sitz bath 3-4 times a day. This means sitting in a tub of warm water & doing anal exercises 7. Atleast once get it examined by a general surgeon.

Why am I farting so much with an awful (bad) smell these days during nights?help me

General Physician, Nashik
Consuming certain natural herbs and spices may help wake up your digestive tract -- so that digesting and fermenting food -- which can cause the gas, exits more quickly. Ginger root, ginger tea, ginger candies or a bite of raw ginger are all options -- it just depends on which ones you can tolerate and which ones taste best to you. A strong cup of peppermint tea may also help accelerate digestion and lesson the gas. Raw fennel seeds are an ancient remedy for improving digestion and alleviating gas. Fennel seeds contain a volatile oil, which stimulates the release of gastric juices. It also contains aspartic acid, a known anti-flatulent. Chew about 1/2 teaspoon of whole seeds after meals.

Sir since 1 month I have mild fresh blood just surface the stool. No pain. Some time bloating abdominal. Some time mucus in stool. I done protoscopy. Doctor says very tiny internal pile. Sir please help me what is the reason of blood?

MBBS, MS - General Surgery, FIAGES(Fellowship in minimal access surgery), FMAS (Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery)
General Surgeon, Ghaziabad
The reason appears to be haemorrhoids (piles). There may be a element of IBS causing mucus and bloating. But its important to rule out other cauSes of bleeding like ulcerative colitis etc. I suggest you to undergo a colonoscopy or sigmoidoscopy. Treatment requires strict dietary restrictions as well as medications. Stop spicy oily and outside food. Increase salad fruits and green veggie. No alcohol/tobacco etc. Drink lot of water and sleep properly. For medications you can consult online on chat.
