Fever with pustular rash over the body are few symptoms of chicken pox and it's a self limiting disease and we have to treat it symptomatically and Eat nutritious food and have adequate fluid intake and take physical rest

Hello, My father have age of 56. He gone yesterday for regular checkup and Dr. found ECG report was not ok. Dr. done ECHO and TROP I test which was very normal. Dr. suggest not to worry and continue with med and precautions. Today my father have a little bit pain in their chest but yesterday his reports was normal. Is it an issue or Dr. is right or he can continue with his medicines. Please help doctor.

Dear lybtateuser, - Do not worry & follow your doctors advise, continue taking medication regularly along with heart healthy diet & regular exercise - occasional pain could be due to acidity - he should have more of fruits & vegetables including green leafy ones, avoid spicy, fried & processed foods, have food on time, have dinner 2-3 hrs before bedtime - get regular checkup done.

I understand your worry and concern as a parent. Mostly her vomiting is due to cough. I do hope you have consulted pediatrician ans giving her medicine as per recommendation. Other than that. Give her more liquid diet instead of solid. Many times food particles could cause vomiting. Also as she is very young. As a parents it is important that you stay calm and engage her in some fun activity. Laugh with her tell her stories or what ever she enjoys. Positive and calmer environment around her will help her stay calmer and help in healing process. Support each other as a couple to reduce your anxiety and do everything that needs to be done medically. What ever virus or bacteria that is causing her cough will take. Its course before she will start recovering. Make sure she is hydrated properly. Even one spoon water and electrolyte at a time will also help. Hope she feels better soon. Wishing you all very best.

I traveled by bus 24 hours, in almost empty stomach on 31oct-1 November I had feverish feeling till 3rd from 2nd. But I'm having very loose motions, almost liquid as urine. I didn't have any proper solid food since 36 hours since I vomit out yesterday morning and afternoon. Since yesterday afternoon I haven't taken any solid. I'm on gluco, and fruit juices. I've taken Triphala from today morning twice and now my hunger has been partially restored. I've taken one tablet of norbax now.

Hye, Thanks for the query. Weight gain is strongly dependent on genetics as well. It's possible you are not eating the right foods at the right time when needed by the body. If you want to gain some weight, you need to eat more calories than you burn. 1. Eat 5 to 6 meals a day In order to gain weight, you need to start eating 5-6 meals a day. However, it is important that you break these meals into parts, as eating a lot at once may result in indigestion. Also, be sure to include healthy foods in your diet for a healthy weight gain. 2. Weight train at least 3 times a week When you train with weights, your muscles grow. 3. Consume more calories than you burn. Eating calories more than your normal intake may not be easy, but you must do it if you want to stop being skinny. Make sure you don’t do it just by overeating at once, but instead do it gradually over the whole day. 4. Work out your entire body A lot of gym goers usually train only the muscles on their arms, chest and shoulders and this is a grave error. Make sure you workout your entire body for a wholesome weight gain. 5. Load up on protein As informed earlier, you have to consume more calories than your normal intake every day. You can do this by eating foods rich in protein like dairy, meat, eggs, nuts, dry fruits, pulses, sprouts, smoothies, milk shakes etc. 6. Drink your calories It may be tough to meet your calorie requirements by just eating. Drinking milk, lassi, milkshakes or fruit smoothies with little or no sugar can be a great way to load up on the required calories. 7. Try and eat fast (but don’t choke on it) Your body takes some time to give signals of satiety which is why eating fast can help you eat more. 8. Focus on recovery after each workout Stretching exercises, foods rich in carbohydrates can help recover your body significantly. Also, you should aim for 8 hours of sleep as inadequate sleep can cause several problems. 9. Be patient with yourself.
