Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back Stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day. Do the cat/cow stretch. Get on all fours, with your arms straight and your hands directly under your shoulders; your knees hip-width apart.

No hypertension, no diabetes, no osteoporosis but having arthritis and thereby difficult for long distance walking. Also sometimes blood atraithis & getting mussels stiff. As per local Dr. She is having deficiency of vitamin D and E. Though after taking prescribed medicines the symptoms are not gone. Any suggestions please?

I am suffering from knee join psints since a years took treatment but nothing went well he has finally give some injection to both the knees with cost around 3000 but it is of no use took many tests, my age is 36 not able to bear any mord please help me out whom to contact, in tests rheumatic arthritis came negative, he did not daigonise what the problem is he has been giving me contains pain killers and injection but relief is for that hr only.

Osteoarthritis is a degenerative process in joints- we can call it wear and tear. Previous injury or over usage of joints may cause it in early age group. Your knee pain may be due to muscle spasm like Chondro-malasia of the knee muscle which pulls the patella to one side. Ayurveda oil application and few lepam will be helpful. If over-weight, reduce body weight by exercises which does not cause exertion to knee- eg swimming/ walk in the swimming pool or cycling movements in the air.

Dear Doctor, I am 70 years old and Diabetic.I am suffering from chest pain on the left side 10 inches below the shoulder.I have taken ECG,ECHO and TMT ,and Doctors confirmed that the pain is not at all connected with heart.My heart function completely fine.So it is due to muscle pain /may be on the rib.My Doctors advised me to do Yoga and avoid pain killers.When i turn on left i get pain and also on the right chest when i turn to right.Also while bending also i have pain kindly advice me I am from Bangalore

Dear Neelakantan, What about your lungs? Simple xray can rule out it consult a physician. Also try to get a assessment with a good Physiotherapist near by you and check your neck (Cervical spine assessment).

I am 32 years old male having pain in my heel both feet. The pain would rise when I get up from my sleep that would make me difficult to walk. Eventually it would subside after an hour or 2. But the pain remains if you press your heel with your hands. At this point it is bearable. Also I have a pain in my lower back. Just 2 of the bones in the lower back. I am not sure which specialist should I consult because my friends say either visit a medicine Dr. Some has suggested an Orthopaedic and others a neurologist. Please suggest.

Requires detailed examination and investigation. Preliminary investigations suggested: hb, tlc, dlc, esr, blood sugar fasting & pp, uric acid vit d urine r/e x-ray of the affected part. Anyway it may be tried sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick mattress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back, knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Do not ignore it. Let it not become beginning of a bigger problem. Make sure that patient is not allergic to any of the medicines that he/she is going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5 days, inform

Hello, you can take homoeopathic medicines 1. Ruta 30 (4 drops in little water) thrice a day for a week. 2. Rhus tox 30 (4 drops in little water) thrice a day for a week and update. Keep a gap of 15 - 20 minutes in both the medicines. *take rest or move about once in 1-2 hours in case of working in a constant position. *maintain a good posture while reading or working with computers. *take a high fibre content diet like vegetables, fruits, etc.

physiotherapy treatment is helpful for cure the pain and prevent the reoccurence. Apply hot water or ice fermentation. Avoid forward bending. Learn proper posture technique.

Sir you damaged your spinal muscle by playing football where unknowingly you used your spine muscle rather than let or glutes muscle. They have not engough power to sustain for long time. You have right leg muscle. Go through physical examination by physiotherapist near to you. He /she will make you. Painless and comfortable with right guideline.

This is normal bone pain...sometime it may be due to any kind of injury... Sometimes it may be due to increased uric acid...if its more towards middle of ur chest then it may be due costo-chondritis....
