Tenovate m on face for 10 years but why, who prescibed you this medication ,are you using it as a over the counter drug. please plz don't use these medication without prescription. Look for some good dermatologist near you and please stop experimenting with drugs by yourself. By the way you are using corticosteroid on your face it can have many side effects.

Hi Doctor, Six years back, In sleep I had a sharp pain in the inner anus. From then, I wasn't able to control my anus (sphincter) muscle and I was getting that pain then there. Controlling in the sense, I cannot able to close it fully how hard I try. I could feel the movement (contraction and expansion) was very minimal. So my anus, wasn't to able expand to the fullest and later I started to develop constipation because of this. So constipation led to make a small bump in the right side of the anus. I realized that there was something not right. Over the four years span, I got the anus pain then and there, and after every pain, gradually the anus ring (i don't know whether its External or internal anal sphincter) got very rigid. From then I cannot expand it, I was able only to shrink it to a minimal extend and not fully. I was really afraid to go a doctor then. Then a year back from now, I went to a doctor, he said that I have anal fissure. I visited another doctor and he said its hemorrhoids and I had a laser operation for that. After, my anus become really small, only soft stools can pass. The initial source of the problem still exits. The operation made the condition worst and it made my anus really small. I visited the doctor from who I took the operation and explained this. He said that everything is okay and told me not worry. From then, I don't know what to do. Now passing stool daily morning became a difficult task for me and since my anus is small, I cannot take shit in a single time and that added more to the constipation. My anus ring (sphincter) become really really rigid and solid. Not able to expand and able to shrink only very little amount. I cannot hold stool if its commit urgent, since I cannot shirk it to the fullest. Every time when explain all these things to a doctor, they consider that my problem is anal fissure or hemorrhoids. But the problem is really not that. From my personal experience, I say it because for of the inability to control the anus (outer sphincter) muscle. I really stuck with this and I don't know how to proceed. Can you please help me? Thanks.

Walk about 3-5 kms daily. 3. There should be gap of 2 hrs after dinner and sleep. 4. Small and frequent meals is of help 5. Chew your food properly at time of lunch and dinner. 6. Keep your blood sugar controlled. 7. Raise your bed about 4" from headend side. 8. Get your gastroendoscopy/USG done. 9. Tab Pantium-l 1 tab empty stomach. 10. Maintain good hygiene.

My mother (45 years old) has thyroid problem. Yesterday she had a test for it. In report, T3 and T4 levels are fairly normal and close to low side but within the acceptable range. But TSH level is high upto 13.83 where its acceptable range given in report is 0.35 - 5.50. Can anyone suggest me a good cure in this regard? What should be done now?

MBBS, CCEBDM, Diploma in Diabetology
Endocrinologist, Hubli-Dharwad
Mr. Lybrate-user, she has developed hypothyroidism, which needs to be treated with taking thyroxine tablets regularly and that too for lifetime. There is no cure in this situation, plus she has to avoid soy beans, soy containing products, cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, radish, mustard, peanuts and coffee. Should consume a good deal of green leafy vegetables and salads and fruits. Use whole grain flour for chapati and roti. Avoid refined flour like maida and products made out of it. Exercise regularly to avoid weight gain. Thanks for the question.

I have black heads I used facial cream to remove it but couldn't see any affect over what should I do.

BHMS
Homeopath, Faridabad
Hello, Use Witch Hazel cream of Medisynth Brand. Witch hazel is great for cleansing your skin of blackheads. Use a cotton ball and dab some on your face daily to help remedy a breakout of blackheads. Home remedy:- 1. A mashed tomato paste applied to the face for 20 minutes will help reduce the appearance of blackheads while pulling the impurities out of the skin. Rinse off with warm water. 2. Honey is one of the best ways to remove blackheads from your skin, and it can even help prevent future breakouts. The sticky texture will pull the impurities from your skin, while it is tightening your skin and closing the pores off from getting additional dirt in them.

I've black lips from my childhood, I don't have any smoking habits still. Can I make my lips rose?

DHMS (Diploma in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery)
Homeopath, Ludhiana
Being a homoeopath,I will suggest you a natural way to glow your lips along with a lip balm. Lemon, Sugar Lip Scrub: In a small bowl, mix in 1 teaspoon of freshly squeezed lemon juice and coconut oil. Add in and stir thoroughly 2 teaspoons of granulated sugar, a bit at a time to make thick paste of uniform consistency. If needed, you can add in more sugar. After mixing it well, you can transfer the scrub into a suitable storage container. It can be safely kept in fridge for about one week.Apply a little bit of the scrub to your lips, and scrub it in circular motion. To effectively exfoliate your lips, use a small toothbrush. Rinse your lips with warm water, and apply a LIP balm( BAKSON) on your choice.

MD - Alternate Medicine, BHMS

Swimming pool water usually contains large amount of chlorine which makes the skin dark. It will not immediately correct but wear off slowly. But keep using sun screen to prevent further blackening of skin.

Facts About Urticaria

BHMS
Homeopath, Delhi
Facts About Urticaria

Urticaria is an extremely common condition known by the names like nettle rash, hives, wheals etc. It is the most common allergic disorder. Patients react to certain foods, drugs and conditions in an abnormal way.

Urticarial lesions are itchy, red and raised areas of variable sizes, that often arise suddenly and last for few hours. Lesions may appear recurrently for years. In some patients, pressure can cause urticarial lesions. Writing on the skin with a blunt pointing thing can raise the skin within a few minutes in such a way that it can be read- it is called dermatographism. Foods like fish, prawn, crabs etc, drugs like aspirin, penicillin, opioid etc, certain insect bites etc. are known to cause urticaria.

Emotional factors can also precipitate urticaria. Urticaria can be:

  1. Acute- lasting for a while to few days, in response to some food, drug etc
  2. Chronic - recurrent attacks of severe urticaria, disabling the patient. Cause is generally unknown. Emotional factors may play a role.

Homeopathic Approach

Constitutional homeopathic treatment aims at relieving the problem in totality, especially where disease has been troubling for a very long time. As the treatment continues:

  • Frequency
  • Intensity and
  • Duration of the episodes start declining and patient starts experiencing more freedom from disease.

Moreover, patient is able to tolerate food and conditions that use to aggravate him. And the added advantage is that general health also improves.

It's a fungal infection, apply antifungal powder and cream. Wear cotton cloths, avoid friction by wearing loose comfortable clothes.
